Definitions
- the invention relates to a bladder pressure measuring system comprising a measuring capsule, which can be introduced into the bladder of a living being, in particular of humans, and which has a pressure sensor and measuring electronics with which pressure readings provided by the pressure sensor can be detected and stored.
- the invention further relates to a method for measuring the bubble pressure, wherein by means of a measuring capsule, which is introduced into the bladder of a living being, in particular of humans and having a pressure sensor and a measuring electronics, pressure readings are recorded and stored.
- CONFIRMATION COPY In order to perform long-term aerodynamics, it is also known to record patients inpatients and to perform the aforementioned measurement method over a longer period. However, this often does not lead to meaningful results, since the situation in which the patients are located during such a long-term neurodynamics, not an everyday situation or realistic situation represents and thus patients do not respond in otherwise usual way.
- Another method of performing long-term aerodynamics uses a measuring capsule which is inserted into the bladder of a living being so as to detect and store pressure readings prevailing in the bladder over such an extended period of time with such a measuring capsule.
- Bubble pressure measuring systems comprising such a measuring capsule or
- the measuring system described by the authors Jourand and Puers comprises, in a known manner, a measuring capsule which can be introduced into the bladder
- this publication in no way discusses the problems associated with such a measuring capsule and arises, for example, from the risk that such a measuring capsule, which is introduced into the bladder in a non-surgical way, for example by a cystoscope or an application aid, be delivered to the urethra during micturition can, this added or even the measuring capsule is lost or within the bubble, the measuring capsule before the bubble outlet and closes this.
- auxiliaries which are carried in the measuring capsule, possible.
- the inflated casing of the measuring capsule has a self-dissolving seam so that the gas can escape from the casing, the casing of the measuring capsule collapses and thus the measuring capsule automatically exits during the micturition.
- Measuring capsule of the type known in the art the aforementioned risks can be excluded, such a measuring capsule so not accidentally enters the urethra or close the bladder outlet and beyond a controlled recovery of the measuring capsule is possible.
- this is achieved in that on the measuring capsule of the generic type described above, at least one kraftbeaufschlagtes locking element, in particular captive, which can be applied against the force acting on the measuring capsule and the at least partially by the acting force wegd Wegbar of the measuring capsule is, in particular whereby the outer cross section of the measuring capsule is at least partially enlarged.
- a captive arrangement may e.g. be achieved in that a respective blocking element on the measuring capsule movable, e.g. is hinged.
- a measuring capsule of the system according to the invention in a state when the at least one blocking element is applied to the measuring capsule, on an outer cross-section, which allows inserting the measuring capsule through the urethra into the bladder or withdraw again.
- the outer cross-section is at least partially increased so that the measuring capsule can not be lost through the urethra or obstruct the bladder outlet.
- the non-surgical insertion or removal of the measuring capsule through the urethra through the urethra itself causes the at least one blocking element is applied against the force acting on the measuring capsule.
- the at least one blocking element can be applied to the measuring capsule by means of a casing surrounding the measuring capsule or positionable around the measuring capsule and can be pushed away from the measuring capsule automatically after removal of the casing.
- a measuring capsule of this kind according to the invention can be realized in such a way that, in the state when it is within the aforementioned envelope, it is in a usual manner, in particular without surgical intervention
- Intervention can be introduced through the urethra into the bladder, for example by means of a cystoscope or an application aid.
- the measuring capsule can preferably be dimensioned such that its outer cross section is smaller than the free inner cross section of the cystoscope used or the application aid (eg catheter), so that the measuring capsule together with the cystoscope or the application aid through the urethra through into the bladder can be advanced.
- the application aid eg catheter
- End region forms the aforementioned shell.
- the hollow end region is effective as a shell and ensures that the at least one blocking element remains applied to the measuring capsule against its application of force.
- the measuring capsule can thus be ejected with the applied, at least one blocking element from the hollow end portion of the cystoscope or an application aid and thus enters the cavity of the bladder.
- Measuring capsule removed that is pushed away by the force, which preferably acts from the measuring capsule to the outside, so that thereby the outer cross section of the measuring capsule at least partially, namely where the at least one blocking element is arranged increases.
- Measuring capsule according to the invention can not be discharged into the urethra.
- At least one blocking element and the surface of the measuring capsule can find its way in the bubble exit.
- the bubble pressure measuring system forms, namely the fact that this end region forms the shell described above, it can also be provided that a measuring capsule of the type according to the invention has a separate removable shell, which surrounds the measuring capsule and the at least one blocking element, in particular, in a preferred embodiment after the introduction of the measuring capsule into the bladder can be removed.
- Such removal may be accomplished, for example, by an auxiliary instrument which is inserted into the bladder through the cystoscope or an application aid. Again, it is then provided that automatically removed by the removal of the shell, the at least one blocking element is pushed away from the measuring capsule and so at least partially increases their outer cross-section.
- Such an embodiment of the measuring capsule with a separate removable sheath may e.g. be advantageous if the outer cross section or
- outside diameter of the measuring capsule with the at least one blocking element is greater than the free inner cross section of available cystoscopes, so that in such a case, the hollow end of a measuring capsule can not accommodate.
- the at least one blocking element is held by the separate shell in a position applied to the measuring capsule and the encased measuring capsule can e.g. be held with an auxiliary element through the cystoscope in a position in front of the hollow end and so through the
- Urethra be pushed into the bladder, where then the shell is removed.

- the term of the spring wire should not necessarily indicate that the spring wire is made of metal, although this is possible. Such a spring wire may also consist of a plastic or a composite material.
- the term of the spring wire is not necessarily indicative of a circular cross section of the spring wire perpendicular to its extension, although this cross section is possible. It can e.g. also rectangular cross sections may be possible, e.g. also in an embodiment in which the spring wire is wider than high perpendicular to the extension.
- Such a measuring capsule according to the invention after the automatic setting up / spacing of the spring wires from the measuring capsule surface after removal of the retaining sheath, forms a shaped body with a substantially ellipsoidal or egg-shaped shape, which thus has such a large size
- the above-mentioned spring wires have a coating, in particular a mucous membrane-compatible coating.
- a coating may e.g. be a silicone coating.
- the material chosen must be appropriately compatible, e.g. made of stainless steel or titanium.
- the blocking elements are each designed as a planar element that is attached to at least one end hinged to the measuring capsule.
- a sheet-like element may be supported by one of the respective aforementioned spring wires, in particular supported or by any other force applying
- Such a planar element can be adapted to correspond correspondingly to the outer contour of the measuring capsule on its surface facing the measuring capsule, so that such a surface element can be tight against the measuring capsule when it is in the casing.
- the measuring capsule is out of the case
- a planar element is supported by the aforementioned spring wire
- a plurality of individual planar elements are provided in the direction of extension of a spring wire between the two ends. This results in an embodiment in which there is a segmented belt per blocking element between the ends of the measuring capsule.
- the individual flat elements are arranged displaceably on the spring wire. Also, the size of the area of the sheet members may decrease from the center to an end of the measuring capsule.
