Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif pour refroidir des trépans, au moyen de buses d'eau, sur des têtes de havage (1, 2) qui sont montées sur un bras de havage pivotant (6) de façon à pouvoir tourner autour d'un axe (5) sensiblement horizontal, perpendiculaire à l'axe longitudinal du bras de havage. Une tête de havage (1, 2) équipée de trépans (3) est montée de chaque côté du bras de havage (6). Au niveau de son extrémité libre agencée entre les deux têtes de havage (1, 2), le bras de havage (6) se présente sous la forme d'un collet d'engrenage (7). Sur le bras de havage (6) est agencé un élément porte-buses (8) qui porte deux groupes de buses pour chaque tête de havage (1, 2), les buses d'un premier groupe (10, 11, 12, 13) étant disposées dans la zone du collet d'engrenage (7) entre les têtes de havage (1, 2) et les buses (17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22) d'un deuxième groupe étant disposées derrière les têtes de havage (1, 2). Selon l'invention, les buses aussi bien du premier groupe que du deuxième groupe présentent respectivement un axe de pulvérisation qui s'écarte du plan médian (27) s'étendant perpendiculairement à l'axe de rotation (5) entre les têtes de havage (1, 2) et qui est dirigé latéralement vers l'extérieur, et présentent un angle de sortie (α) de sorte que les cônes de pulvérisation de buses adjacentes se chevauchent avant l'impact sur le front de taille.
