Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for controlling a closure element arrangement of a motor vehicle according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • closure elements may be, for example, doors, such as side and rear doors, in particular sliding doors, flaps, in particular tailgates, trunk lids, engine hoods, load compartment floors or the like of a motor vehicle.
  • closure element is to be understood in the present case.
  • the triggering of the motor actuation of the closure element can be in the known method ( DE 10 2010 055 297 A1 . WO2012 / 052210 A1 ), from which the invention proceeds, accomplish particularly comfortable by a foot movement of the user.
  • a control system with a controller and a sensor arrangement is provided which has two elongated, capacitive distance sensors. By means of the controller, the sensor readings of the two distance sensors are monitored to see if the user has performed a predetermined foot movement. When detecting such an operating event, a corresponding control of the drive arrangement is made, here the associated tailgate or the like. Motorized open or closed.
  • the reliability of the operator event monitoring poses a challenge in the implementation of the known method.
  • One reason for this is that the capacitive proximity sensors used here are only designed to detect the distance to the user transversely to the sensor extension. This can lead to a user passing along the sensor extension, which may also be associated with an approach of the user to the distance sensor, being erroneously detected as an operating event.
  • the controller is indeed no information on whether there is a movement of the user along the sensor extension.
  • the position of the user along the sensor extension is hereinafter referred to as "longitudinal position”. This means that the user is on any trajectory that is parallel to the sensor span. In each longitudinal position, the user can take any distance to the distance sensor. It may already be pointed out that the sensor extension is not necessarily a straight line. Rather, the sensor extension can be on any curve, so be curved.
  • the implementation of the known method also poses a challenge because today's motor vehicles can be equipped with a variety of attachment components, in particular with trailer hitches, bicycle carriers or the like, which interfere with a sensory detection of operating events. For example, an operator event monitoring with the known method is hardly possible if the user is in a longitudinal position in which the trailer hitch has been mounted.
  • the invention is based on the problem of designing and developing the known method such that the reliability of the operator event monitoring is increased by simple means.
  • One consideration is to use the at least one distance sensor for determining the longitudinal position of the user provided for the operator event monitoring anyway.
  • the information thus obtained about the longitudinal position of the user can be obtained, for example, information about whether the user passes only the distance sensor or whether the user performs an operating event.
  • an operator event to be monitored which comprises a longitudinal movement of the user along the sensor extension.
  • a characteristic chronological progression of the sensor measured values can take place result in the sensor strands, for example, in turn, may be part of an operating event to be monitored.
  • longitudinal position does not necessarily refer to the absolute longitudinal position of the user. Rather, the term “longitudinal position” is to be understood in the present case. It includes all information that provides a value for the longitudinal position of the user. The same applies to the understanding of the term “distance”.
  • At least two elongate, substantially adjacent sensor strands of the at least one distance sensor are provided, each of which is designed to detect a distance to a user.
  • the sensor strands along the sensor extension to changing sensor configurations, in such a way that by means of the controller, the longitudinal position of the user as a function of the sensor measured values of the at least two sensor strands can be determined.
  • this one-to-one mapping is not necessarily required in some applications.
  • controller determines the longitudinal position of the user and that the operator event monitoring is modified as a function of the longitudinal position of the user.
  • the operation event monitoring is performed differently depending on the longitudinal position of the user. For example, it can be achieved that the operator event monitoring is adapted to exactly this scenario in the event that the user is in the same longitudinal position as a mounted trailer hitch. If the user then moves to a longitudinal position where no attachment is located, the operator event monitoring can For example, be reset to a standard monitoring.
  • the reliability of the operator event monitoring can also be increased, whereby any method can be used to determine the longitudinal position.
  • the determination of the longitudinal position of the user can be attributed to an arithmetic operation, in particular a division or a difference, between the sensor measured values of two sensor strings (claim 3). It is also conceivable that the longitudinal position of the user is due to the differences in the phase shifts between voltage and current in the sensor measured values, in particular if the sensor strings are each capacitive sensor elements subjected to an alternating voltage (claim 4).
  • control event monitoring can be implemented in a variety of ways.
  • the operator event monitoring underlying operating event model is modified in dependence on the determined longitudinal position of the user.
  • the configuration of the above-mentioned sensor strands is preferably such that the longitudinal position of the user as a function of the sensor measured values of the at least two sensor strands can be determined by means of the control.
  • an unambiguous assignment depending on the application can be dispensed with.
  • the sensor configuration of a sensor string is due to its geometry, its location, its material composition or the like.
  • the sensor configuration includes every parameter that has an influence on the sensor readings of the sensor string.
  • the change in the sensor configuration is achieved by changing the geometry of the measuring electrode, in particular by changing the effective area of the measuring electrode.
  • This is a production technology easily implementable variant.
  • the change in the sensor configuration to a corresponding change in the material composition of the measuring electrode, in particular by a corresponding coating of the measuring electrode accomplished. This can be a targeted change in the sensor configuration to achieve, even if the geometry must remain unchanged due to structural constraints.

  • closure element 2 designed as a tailgate of a motor vehicle.
  • closure element reference should be made to the introductory part of the description. in this respect apply all versions of a tailgate 2 accordingly for all other types of fasteners.
  • the tailgate 2 is associated with a drive assembly 3, by means of the here and preferably a motorized adjustment of the tailgate 2 between the in Fig. 1 in a solid line shown in the closed position and in Fig. 1 shown in dashed line open position is effected.
  • the drive assembly 3 is part of the tailgate 2 associated motor vehicle lock and that a corresponding control of the drive assembly 3, the opening of the motor vehicle lock and possibly a spring-driven adjustment of the tailgate 2 triggers.

  • At least two, here and preferably exactly two, elongated, substantially adjacent sensor strands 7a, 7b of the at least one distance sensor 7 are provided.
  • the term "substantially coextensive” is to be understood in the present case. In particular, this does not necessarily mean a parallel alignment of the two sensor strands 7a, 7b to each other.

  • this determination of the longitudinal position L of the user B is largely independent of the respective current distance of the user B to the distance sensor 7.
  • the longitudinal position L of the user B can be used in very different ways. According to the proposal, it is provided that the operator event monitoring is modified as a function of the longitudinal position L of the user B. In this way, the operator event monitoring can be optimally adapted to the conditions prevailing at the respective longitudinal position L.
  • the determination of the longitudinal position L of the user B can take place in different ways.
  • the determination of the longitudinal position L of the user B is based on a division of the sensor measured values of two sensor strands 7a, 7b.
  • the determination of the longitudinal position L of the user B is based on the difference of the sensor measured values of the two sensor strands 7a, 7b.
  • the above division or the above difference has the effect that the distance A of the user B to the distance sensor 7 has only a negligible influence on the determined longitudinal position L.
  • the determination of the longitudinal position L of the user B is based on the difference between the phase shifts between voltage and current in the sensor measured values of two sensor strings 7a, 7b.
  • This can be attributed, for example, to the fact that the Ohmic resistance between a lateral connection here and one of the longitudinal position of the user B associated longitudinal portion of the sensor strands 7a, 7b depends on the distance between the terminal and the longitudinal portion.
