Abstract

Ein elektronisches Haushaltsgerät (10) weist ein Gehäuse (12), in welchem wenigstens ein Innenraum angeordnet ist, welcher durch wenigstens eine Zugangsöffnung (14) von außerhalb des Gehäuses zugänglich ist; eine Türvorrichtung (16) zum wahlweisen Öffnen oder Verschließen der Zugangsöffnung (14) des Innenraums; eine Steuereinrichtung (18) zum Steuern des Betriebs des Haushaltsgerätes; und eine Eingabevorrichtung (20; 22) zum Eingeben von Betriebsparametern durch einen Benutzer, welche mit der Steuereinrichtung (18) verbunden ist, auf. Die Eingabevorrichtung (20; 22) ist derart an der Türvorrichtung (16) oder dem Gehäuse (12) positioniert, dass sie im geschlossenen Zustand der Türvorrichtung (16) einem Erkennungsabschnitt (21 a, 21 b; 23a, 23b) des Gehäuses (12) bzw. der Türvorrichtung (16) unmittelbar gegenüber liegt. Außerdem ist die Eingabevorrichtung (20; 22) derart ausgestaltet, dass sie in einem Eingabemodus, in dem sie eine Eingabe von Betriebsparametern durch einen Benutzer erkennen kann, und einem Türerkennungsmodus, in dem sie ihre Lage unmittelbar gegenüber dem Erkennungsabschnitt (21 a, 21 b; 23a, 23b) des Gehäuses bzw. der Türvorrichtung erkennen kann, betrieben werden kann.
