Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rotary braiding machine, in particular for the production of wire mesh.
  • Rotary braiding machines are used to make braids of continuous fibrous material, such as wires or textile fibers, for example yarns or plastic fibers, in the form of hollow tubular braids or flat braided wires or for braiding, for example, a cable with a wire mesh.
  • Fields of application for such manufactured technical braids are, for example, shields for electrical cables against electromagnetic fields or protective sheaths against mechanical stress on cables or hoses.
  • a rotary braiding machine of the type considered has a plurality of braiding bobbins, each of which is mounted in a bobbin.
  • a wicking coil here is a cylindrical body for winding a fiber, preferably wire, with two arranged at the ends of the cylindrical body. th flanges with a larger diameter than that of the cylindrical body.
  • a bobbin carrier is a device on which a lattice bobbin can be rotatably mounted about its longitudinal axis. The bobbins with the braiding are mounted on two superimposed coaxial discs, which rotate in opposite directions about a common axis. These discs together with the coil carriers and the braiding coils form the braiding rotor.
  • the ("outer") braiding bobbins mounted on one disc carry out certain relative movements (not described in detail here) relative to the ("inner") braiding bobbins mounted on the other disc, which leads to the desired intertwining of the wires extending from the braiding bobbins comes.
  • the rotary braiding machine further comprises an infeed roll or a supply reel for feeding the strand material.
  • An infeed roller and an unwinding reel have the same geometric shape as a braiding reel, but will generally have very different dimensions, in particular a significantly larger diameter of the cylindrical body.
  • the rotary braiding machine has a braiding head in the form of an eyelet and / or a tube, at the entrance of which the individual wires and optionally the strand material to be braided converge and intertwine with each other.
  • the place where this convergence occurs is called the braiding point.
  • the braiding point is at or approximately on the geometric axis about which the braiding rotor rotates.

  • This has the shape of a wheel, which is at least partially wrapped by the wicker and which rotates with a certain, adapted to the type of braiding to be produced speed.
  • the direction in which the Flechtgut moves from braiding to Abziehin is referred to as Abzieh direction of Flechtguts.
  • the stripping direction thus represents a straight line with an orientation.
  • the braiding rotor rotates about an axis which coincides with the stripping direction of the braiding material or nearly coincides.
  • the rotary braiding machine can furthermore have a soundproofing hood, which encloses at least the braiding rotor.

  • the rotary braiding machine has a machine frame.
  • a machine frame here means a device for holding and / or mechanically fixing certain machine components, in particular the braiding rotor, as well as for connecting machine components to one another. It preferably consists of rigidly interconnected tubes, struts, plates or other form elements and can be further Einrich- tions such as damping elements for damping vibrations and vibrations.
  • the machine frame can in turn be fixed, preferably fixed to the ground.
  • the unwinding reel and / or the feed device preferably an infeed reel, are frequently accommodated or attached for the strand material to be braided.
  • the vertical construction requires a comparatively small footprint of the rotary braiding machine and, due to the horizontal arrangement of the braiding rotor, allows a relatively low center of gravity of the machine, which in turn facilitates the stable and low-vibration mounting of the rotating parts.
  • all bobbin carriers are accessible to the operator at an approximately equal, favorable working height.
  • the vertical design requires more deflections and bends of both the strand material, which must be fed between the hall floor and the lower edge of the braiding rotor, as well as the finished braiding, if this are passed by the Abziehin at the highest point of the machine back down to the ground got to. This is a problem especially for larger and thicker and thus more inflexible products.
  • the Abziehin must be mounted on top of the machine frame, which especially in large machines, where high tensile stresses must be intercepted on the wires to be processed and on the Flechtgut, leads to complex constructions.
  • large machines can be tikal construction so high that the access of the operator is no longer possible without a staircase or the like.
  • the horizontal design requires a larger footprint of the machine, but causes a higher center of gravity of the machine.
  • the processing stations can be "stretched" from the development of the strand material to the winding of the Wattage in the horizontal direction, so that fewer deflections and bends of the material are required.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a uniform and therefore cost-effective design for a rotary braiding machine.
  • the stripping direction of the braiding material extends obliquely in space, ie, neither horizontally nor vertically, but inclined relative to the horizontal as well as relative to the vertical by a certain angle.
  • This angle is preferably between 20 and 70 degrees to the vertical, more preferably about 30 degrees to the vertical, and even more preferably about 45 degrees to the vertical.
  • the construction of the rotary braiding machine is therefore exactly "between" the horizontal and the vertical construction, whereby the advantages of the two designs are combined in a particularly good manner.
  • Construction must be manufactured and distributed, also results in the desired reduction in the variety and variety of parts and the associated cost reduction.
  • the basic components of the machine such as the braiding rotor and the honing wheel, can be taken over unchanged, since they are suitable for both vertical and horizontal construction anyway.
  • the Abziehin is not attached to the machine frame.

Due to the spatial separation of the Abziehsort from the machine frame and the braiding rotor namely allows the sound enclosure encloses only the braiding rotor, but not the Abziehfactor without thereby parts of the machine frame must penetrate the sound enclosure, which in turn leads to problems in the design and installation of the sound enclosure and would lead to sound bridges between the interior and the exterior of the sound enclosure.
