Abstract

L'invention porte sur des panneaux d'agglomérés à base des graines d'arbres de la famille des casuarinas equisetifolia dont le filao. Les graines après récolte sont transformées en poudre de fines granulométrie qui est mélangée avec le liquide obtenu par dissolution de la gomme arabique dans de l'eau tiède (50°). Le résultat du mélange est un matelas pour panneau d'aggloméré dont la forme et la densité sont fonction des utilisations envisagées (panneaux dure ou isolants).

(filaos) et de la gomme arabique
La présente invention concerne des panneaux en agglomères à base des graines de filaos (casuarina equisetifolia) et de la gomme arabique extraite de l'acacia Sénégal.
On sait jusqu'à présent que les différentes sortes d'agglomérés sont des panneaux constitués de copeaux de bois, de chutes, de résidus des industries du bois ou les pièces de bois sont encollées avec des résines urée-formaldéhydes (UF) lors d'un pressage à haute température.
Les agglomères obtenus présentent des problèmes tels que :
Effritement au contact de l'eau
Usure élevée
Faible résistance aux chocs
Nécessité d'utiliser des résines synthétiques avec comme conséquence des effets nuisible sur la santé lors de la fabrication des panneaux de bois
Dégâts causés à l'environnement par l'abatage d'arbres
Le filaos est originaire d'Asie, mais présent dans les régions tropicales. Les fruits sont des cônes globuleux ou se logent de minuscules graines qui extraites et concassées
peuvent être agglomérés par une résine naturelle telle que la gomme arabique.

Cl Manière de réaliser l'invention
La réalisation de panneaux d'aggloméré à base de particules des graines de filao et de la résine propre à la gomme arabique comprend 5 (cinq) phases principales à savoir :
1- Préparation de la matière première
La matière première de base pour les panneaux d'aggloméré est constituée de graines contenues dans les fruits du filao (casuarina equisetifolia).
La préparation du matelas de graines consiste à récolter les fruits du filao et de les concasser pour obtenir une poudre de fine granulométrie (2 à 5 microns).
2- dissolution dans de l'eau tiède (50°) de la gomme arabique issue généralement des arbres d'acacia Sénégal. On obtient alors un adhésif naturel.
3- Mélange de la matière première (1) avec le liquide visqueux (2) selon un pourcentage de 60- 40. Par exemple pour obtenir 1 mètre d'aggloméré, il faut 60 kg de matière première et 40 litres de liquide de gomme arabique.
Le mélange permet d'obtenir une pate de particules de graines de filao aggloméré par l'adhésif naturel de la gomme arabique.
4- Pressage du panneau
La pate est mise en forme dans une presse mécanique ou l'on compacte le matelas à une densité et à l'épaisseur voulue. Le pressage permet de solidifier les particules des graines de filao et de stabiliser la forme des panneaux d'aggloméré. Plus la pression est forte, plus les panneaux sont durs.
5- Séchage
Les panneaux sont exposés au soleil pendant 72 H avant leur entreposage et leur mise à disposition pour différentes utilisation :
panneaux durs pour la fabrication de placards, de meuble de cuisine etc.... ■ panneaux isolants pour des revêtements muraux etc....
Les panneaux agglomérés obtenus par l'invention sont plus lourds, plus résistants et plus compacts que les panneaux à basse de déchets de bois.
Ils permettent de valoriser autrement des arbres de la famille des casuarinas (Filaos à feuille de perle, bois de fer, pins australiens) de même que les gommes issus des arbres d'acacias tels que l'acacia Sénégal.

REVENDICATIONS
1- Panneaux d'agglomérés a base de graines d'arbres de la famille des casuarinas equisetifolia et de la gomme arabique extraite de l'acacia Sénégal.
2- Panneaux d'agglomérés selon la revendication 1 caractérisée en ce que les graines du casuarina sont après transformation en poudre, mélangées avec du liquide provenant de la dissolution dans de l'eau tiède de la gomme arabique.
