Definitions
- the invention relates to a liquid washing or cleaning agent with a soil release polymer.
- auxiliary detergents include, for example, foam regulators, grayness inhibitors, bleaches, bleach activators and dye transfer inhibitors.
- Other laundry aids are substances which impart soil repellency properties to the laundry fiber and which, if present during the wash, aid the soil release properties of the remaining detergent ingredients. Such soil release agents are often referred to as “soil release” agents or because of their ability to provide the treated surface, e.g., fabric, with soil repellency, as “soil repellents”.
- Soil release agents known in the art are polyesters containing dicarboxylic acid units, alkylene glycol units and polyalkylene glycol units.

- 35 g of the detergent to be tested were added to E1 or V1 and washed six times at 40 ° C. After hanging drying and shortage of the cloth rags, their remission was determined spectrophotometrically (Minolta CR200-1) as the Y value (see Table 2). The stain removal was evaluated by the Y value.
- Table 2 Whitenesses (average of 6 determinations) E1 vs.
- liquid washing or cleaning agent E1 has a higher cleaning performance, in particular "soil release” performance, of grease-containing soiling, as a washing or cleaning agent without dirt-releasing polymer.
- test fabrics were five times in a row with each 20 g of the liquid detergent or cleaning agent to be tested E1, E4, V1, V2, V3 or V4 in a household washing machine (Miele W 1514) with 5 SBL 2004 towels with standardized dirt load (32 g Dirt ballast) at 40 ° C.
- the cotton fabrics are eight different commercially available cotton fabrics.
- the fabrics of synthetic include ten different commercially available fabrics of, for example, polyamide, viscose, polyester, polyester-cotton blends, Lycra-elastane blends, and polyacrylonitrile.
- the day-old fabrics include four commercial everyday textiles such as kitchen toweling, toweling, barley grain towel and white T-shirts.

- a film of the type M 8630 (ex Monosol) with a thickness of 76 microns) was pulled into a depression to form a bulge by means of vacuum. Subsequently, the bulge was filled with 30 ml of the liquid washing or cleaning agent E3. After covering the agent filled bulges with a second layer of M 8630 film, the first and second layers were sealed together. The sealing temperature was 150 ° C and the sealing time 1.1 seconds.
