Description

    DOMAINE DE L'INVENTION
  • La présente invention se rapporte à une montre-bracelet comportant un bracelet, une boîte en matière plastique comprenant une carrure-lunette, un verre de montre, un fond et deux paires de cornes auxquelles sont respectivement fixées les deux extrémités du bracelet, et comportant une demi-coque supérieure en métal recouvrant le dessus de la boîte et une partie de la carrure, et présentant une ouverture laissant voir la glace, et comportant encore une couronne ou un poussoir de commande faisant saillie de la carrure.
    • ART ANTERIEUR
  • On connaît des montres-bracelets conformes à la définition ci-dessus. Le document DE 41 12 679 décrit une montre dont la carrure est insérée dans un boitier fermé, constitué de deux éléments articulés entre eux et recouvrant sensiblement l'intégralité de la carrure, à l'exception du passage du bracelet et de la couronne.
  • Le document de brevet EP 0 351 706 notamment décrit une montre dont la boîte comporte une carrure-lunette en plastique recouverte par une coiffe en métal. La coiffe est susceptible de recouvrir entièrement la partie lunette de la carrure-lunette et s'étend au moins partiellement le long du flanc présenté par la partie carrure de la carrure-lunette. Selon ce document antérieur, lorsque la montre est portée au poignet, la présence de la coiffe donne l'impression que la montre est en métal. Cette montre de l'art antérieur présente toutefois certains défauts. En effet, si l'on retourne la montre, pour changer la pile par exemple, l'impression de qualité est gâchée par la présence du rebord de la coiffe qui encercle le fond. Des tentatives ont été faites sans grand succès pour masquer le joint entre le rebord de la coiffe et le plastique de la boîte. Un but de la présente invention est de remédier au problème de l'art antérieur qui vient d'être exposé.

  • A cet effet, la présente invention fournit une montre-bracelet conforme à la revendication 1 annexée.
  • On comprendra que selon l'invention, les deux joints formés respectivement entre les rebords des deux demi-coques et le plastique de la boîte ne sont pas cachés. De plus, comme un espace vide est prévu entre les rebords des deux demi-coques, on jouit d'une grande liberté dans le choix de la hauteur des rebords de ces coques. De plus, les rebords n'ayant pas besoin d'être parallèles, on retrouve la même liberté pour le dessin des profils des deux rebords. En outre, le fait de faire passer la couronne ou le bouton-poussoir entre les deux demi-coques contribue aussi à alléger les contraintes concernant la forme de chacune des demi-coques.

    DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE D'UN MODE DE REALISATION
  • Les figures 1 et 2 sont respectivement des vues en perspective et de côté d'une montre-bracelet selon une mode de réalisation particulier de l'invention. La boîte de la montre (globalement référencée 1) est ronde et (globalement référencée 1) porte deux paires de cornes 12 pour attacher un bracelet (non représenté ; une corne de chaque paire est visible dans la figure 2). La montre représentée est une montre chronographe munie d'un couronne de mise à l'heure et de deux boutons-poussoirs 15.
  • Selon l'invention, la montre comporte une demi-coque supérieure 4 et une demi-coque inférieure 5. La demi-coque supérieure 4 recouvre le dessus de la boîte 1, la partie supérieure de la carrure et le dessus des cornes 12. La demi-coque supérieure présente une ouverture circulaire agencée pour laisser passer la lunette et le verre de la montre 8 (visible sur la figure 3). La demi-coque inférieure 5 recouvre le fond de la boîte 1 et la partie inférieure de la carrure. Selon l'invention, un espace allongé 6 est ménagé entre la demi-coque supérieure et la demi-coque inférieure. Dans l'exemple illustré, l'espace 6 à la forme d'une bande horizontale à mi-hauteur de la carrure, une partie de la carrure étant visible dans cet espace. De plus, la couronne 13 et les deux poussoirs 15 sont également placés dans l'espace 6.
  • La réalisation des deux demi-coques selon l'invention comprend typiquement plusieurs étapes, par exemple un étampage préliminaire suivi, dans le cas des demi-coques, d'un emboutissage. De ces opérations sont issues notamment les demi-coques supérieure et inférieure 4 et 5 avec leur galbe et leurs parois latérales, ainsi que l'ouverture dans la demi-coque supérieure 4. L'épaisseur de la feuille métallique utilisée pour réaliser les deux demi-coques est avantageusement d'environ 0,3 mm. Une fois les demi-coques 4 et 5 formées, elles sont de préférence collées sur la boîte de montre.
  • Dans le mode de réalisation illustré, une coiffe annulaire 11 en forme de lunette recouvre la lunette. La coiffe 11 permet de masquer le joint entre la lunette et la demi-coque métallique 4. La coiffe 11 est de préférence rapportée par collage après la pose de la demi-coque supérieure 4.

Claims (3)

  1. Montre-bracelet comportant un bracelet, une boîte en matière plastique (1) comprenant une carrure-lunette, un verre de montre (8), un fond et deux paires de cornes (12) auxquelles sont respectivement fixées les deux extrémités du bracelet, et comportant une demi-coque supérieure (4) en métal recouvrant le dessus de la boîte et une partie de la carrure, et présentant une ouverture laissant voir la glace, et comportant encore une couronne (13) ou un poussoir de commande (15) faisant saillie de la carrure, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte en outre une demi-coque inférieure (5) recouvrant le fond et une partie de la carrure, et en ce que la demi-coque supérieure et la demi-coque inférieure présentent respectivement deux rebords périphériques sensiblement symétriques et qui s'étendent en regard l'un de l'autre, la couronne ou le poussoir de commande étant situé dans un espace allongé s'étendant entre les rebords des deux demi-coques, et l'espace allongé laissant également voir une partie de la carrure.
  2. Montre-bracelet selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les demi-coques (4,5) ont été obtenues par emboutissage.
  3. Montre-bracelet selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que les demi-coques (4,5) sont fixées à la boîte de montre (1).
