Definitions

  • a tool carrier for putting on and taking off a tool for a front loader comprises a tool carrier frame and a locking device arranged on the tool carrier, with which a tool can be locked on the tool carrier by a transversely movable bolt, the bolt being movable from a locking position into a transversely spring-biased unlocking position when the tool is in place and locked, in which the bolt can be moved supported on the tool carrier frame.
  • the locking device comprises positioning and holding means which can be brought into a spring-preloaded position by placing a tool on the tool carrier and, when the unlocked tool is put down from the tool carrier, release the bolt from its unlocking position which supports the tool carrier frame, the positioning and holding means one Assume the holding position and the bolt can be moved from the unlocking position into a transversely spring-biased pre-locking position in which the bolt is supported on the positioning and holding means, the positioning and holding means being able to be moved from the holding position into the spring-biased position by renewed application of a tool and the bolt released in this way can be moved from the pre-locking position into the locking position by means of transverse spring force, the bolt having a handle for manually moving the bolt from the locking position into the unlocking position position. Furthermore, a method for putting a tool on and off a loader is disclosed.
  • loading vehicles or loaders in particular front loaders for use on agricultural tractors, but also construction vehicles such as wheel loaders or telescopic loaders different tools.
  • loading forks, lances, grabs or shovels can be used as loading tools.
  • the tools are usually connected to so-called tool carriers or picked up by these by means of corresponding receiving devices.
  • the tool carriers are usually firmly connected to the front end of the rocker arm or the extension arm of the loading vehicle, the receiving devices formed on the tool carriers being an interface to the tool and making it possible for the tools to be exchangeable or exchangeable on the one hand, but also accordingly can be securely connected to the tool carrier.
  • the holding devices usually have tool holders, to which the corresponding tool is placed, and a lock, with which the tool is locked after being placed on the tool carrier.
  • locking devices are known which enable the tool to be locked automatically, with the locking being to be carried out as automatically as possible without an operator operating the cabin of the vehicle must leave.
  • Such locking devices known from the prior art are generally complex and expensive.
  • the US 7,674,085 B2 discloses an arrangement and method for attaching a tool to a loader.
  • the arrangement provides a locking device which fixes a position of the tool and locks the tool in this position with the arrangement.
  • a safety device provides that the locking can only take place if the tool has been correctly positioned.
  • a tool carrier of the type mentioned at the outset is designed in such a way that the latch has an actuating and holding section on the handle side and a first guide and locking section aligned parallel thereto, the latch having a second guide and locking section on the handle side opposite, which is transverse is aligned with the first guide and locking section.
  • the tool carrier disclosed here has a locking device with low complexity, low variety of parts and high security. The fully automated locking process considerably simplifies the application of the tool to the tool carrier for the operator or the driver, since the operator or the driver no longer has to leave the cabin to lock the tool. This saves time. The simple structure of the locking device and the small number of parts facilitate assembly in production and thus also contribute to cost savings.
  • the actuation of the actuating and holding means when the tool is applied by the tool ensures that the locking mechanism does not start until a tool is also applied.
  • Accidental movement of the bolt into its locking position by vibrations or by moving the Tool carrier or the front loader without tools is effectively avoided.
  • the bolt can be accessed via a handle which is arranged on the side of the tool carrier or extends outwards on one side of the tool carrier.
  • the bolt can be moved out of its locked position by pulling the handle. By then turning the handle slightly, the handle is then brought into its unlocked position, in which the latch is supported on the tool carrier frame.
  • the bolt can be shaped in such a way that it has an adjusting and holding section on the handle side and a first guiding and locking section aligned parallel to it.
  • the bolt can have rod sections oriented parallel to one another on the handle side, which are connected to one another at the handle side ends via a web and are held at a certain distance from one another.
  • the bolt also has a second guide and locking section on a side opposite the handle, which is aligned transversely in alignment with the first guide and locking section.
  • the bolt can be shaped, for example, in such a way that the setting and holding section at the handle-side end has a corresponding curved profile in its further course to the opposite side of the tool carrier, so that the two open ends of the bolt point together in one direction and are aligned with one another.
  • a spring can be mounted on the bolt, by means of which the bolt can be preloaded transversely.
  • the spring can for example be designed as a helical spring which is mounted on a rod-shaped area of the bolt.
  • the helical spring is preferably supported on one side against a stop fixed on the bolt and on the other side against the tool carrier frame, so that one transverse movement of the bolt (i.e. when the bolt moves to one side of the tool carrier) the coil spring is compressed and a pretensioning force is generated.
  • the coil spring and the stop are designed and arranged in such a way that the coil spring has no or only a minimal bias in the locking position and its maximum bias in the unlocking position.
  • a ledge can be formed on the bolt with which the bolt is supported on the tool carrier frame in the unlocked position and on the actuating and holding means in the pre-locked position.
  • the shoulder can be formed, for example, by a tube which is guided and fixed over a rod-shaped region of the bolt.
  • the actuating and holding means comprise a first rotary lever and a second rotary lever, which are rotatably mounted to one another on a common axis of rotation, the first and second rotary levers being pivotable, and by engaging a tool which can be placed on the tool carrier with the first rotary lever, pivotable and the second rotary lever , for releasing the bolt from its unlocking position, which is supported on the tool carrier frame, can be brought into engagement with the bolt.
  • the actuating and holding means are accordingly formed by two rotary levers extending from an axis of rotation, the axis of rotation being mounted in the area of a lower connection point for the tool on the tool carrier frame or in an area in which a fastening eye formed on the tool is provided which the latch is pushed for connection to the tool carrier frame, engages or protrudes into the tool frame carrier.
  • a rotary lever can function as a kind of trigger and of that when the tool is placed in the tool frame protruding mounting eye deflected or actuated and thus pivoted.
  • the resulting rotary movement of the axis of rotation is correspondingly transferred to the second rotary lever, so that the second rotary lever is brought into engagement with the setting and holding section of the bolt.
  • the first rotary lever is equipped with a longer lever arm than the second rotary lever, since the former has to extend into the guide and locking section of the bolt, with which the fastening eye of the tool is locked after it has been put on, whereas the second rotary lever only extends as far as the and extends the holding portion of the bolt, which is arranged closer to the axis of rotation.
  • a spring is provided which is connected to the tool carrier frame and preferably to one of the rotary levers. It is also possible to use a spring connected to the axis of rotation. It is essential that when the first rotary lever is deflected by the fastening eye, a spring pretension is generated, so that when the fastening eye is removed from the engagement area, the actuating and holding means (first and second rotating lever) act against the actuating and holding section of the bolt under pretension or engage with this under tension.
  • a tool holder of the type described above is particularly suitable for use on a loader, such as a front loader or wheel loader, in which a frequent change of the tool is required for different loader work.
  • a corresponding method for placing and depositing a tool on a tool carrier of a loader provides that a tool carrier comprises a tool carrier frame and a locking device arranged on the tool carrier, with which a tool is or is locked on the tool carrier by a transversely movable bolt.

  • the actuating and holding means are released from the fastening eye of the tool, so that the actuating and holding means, which are under tension, move against the bolt and the bolt then moves due to the spring force of the actuating element acting on it. and releases the holding means from its unlocking position, which is supported on the tool carrier frame.
  • the actuating and holding means assume a holding position and the bolt is moved from its unlocking position into a transversely spring-biased pre-locking position. In this pre-locking position, the bolt is no longer supported on the tool carrier frame as before, but on the actuating and holding means.
  • the actuating and holding means are deflected again by the fastening eye formed on the tool and brought from the holding position into the spring-loaded position mentioned above.
  • the holding function of the positioning and holding means is released and the bolt is released so that the released bolt is released by transverse spring force moved from the pre-locking position to the locking position becomes.
