Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Patrone (10) mit einem Geschoss (11) und einer von hinten auf das Geschoss (11) aufgezogenen Hülse (12) mit einem Hülsenmund (13) am vorderen Ende, wobei das Geschoss (11) eine Spitze (1) aufweist und diese Spitze (1) heckseitig in ein umlaufendes vorderes Führungsband (4), welches den Geschossaußendurchmesser definiert, übergeht und unmittelbar angrenzend an dieses vordere Führungsband (4) in Richtung Geschossboden (14) ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses (11) erstreckender umlaufender Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum (15) im Geschoss (11) angeordnet ist, in den der Hülsenmund (13) eingreift. Damit beim Schuss der rotationslose Geschossweg auf ein Minimum reduziert ist und der Gasdruck frühzeitig aufgebaut wird, wird vorgeschlagen, dass zwischen dem vorderen Führungsband (4) und dem Hülsenmund (13) ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses (11) erstreckender freiliegender Teilabschnitt (16) des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums (15) angeordnet ist, d. h. der Hülsenmund (13) füllt den Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum (15) in Richtung Bug des Geschosses (11) nicht vollständig aus.

Description

Patrone
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Patrone mit einem Geschoss und einer von hinten auf das Geschoss aufgezogenen Hülse mit einem Hülsenmund am vorderen Ende, wobei das Geschoss eine Spitze aufweist und diese Spitze heckseitig in ein umlaufendes vorderes Führungsband, welches den Geschossaußendurchmesser definiert, übergeht und unmittelbar angrenzend an dieses vordere Führungsband in Richtung Geschossboden ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses erstre- ckender umlaufender Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum im Geschoss angeordnet ist, in den der Hülsenmund eingreift.
Ein derartiges Geschoss ist aus der EP 1 774 251 B1 bekannt. Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Patrone nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 so zu verbessern, dass beim Schuss der rotationslose Geschossweg auf ein Minimum reduziert ist. Ebenso soll der Gasdruck frühzeitig aufgebaut werden. Außerdem soll unter anderem der Hülsenmund zum Geschoss hin gegen Feuchtigkeit jeglicher Form abgedichtet werden.
Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe durch die Merkmale des Anspruchs 1 gelöst.
Dadurch, dass zwischen dem vorderen Führungsband und dem Hülsenmund ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses erstreckender freiliegender Teilabschnitt des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums angeordnet ist, d. h. der Hülsenmund füllt den Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum in Richtung Bug des Geschosses nicht vollständig aus, ist das vordere Führungsband nach vorne zur Spitze hin verlagert, wodurch der rotationslose Geschossweg auf ein Minimum reduziert ist. Außerdem ist dadurch ein Aufnahmeraum geschaffen, der mit einem Abdichtungsmittel gefüllt werden kann, wodurch der Hülsenmund zum Geschoss hin gegen Feuchtigkeit jeglicher Form abgedichtet ist.
Bevorzugt ist also, dass der freiliegende Teilabschnitt des Hülsenmundaufnah- meraums mit einem Abdichtungsmittel, wie z.B. ein Lack abgedichtet ist.
In einer Ausführungsform geht die Geschossspitze ogival oder kegelig über eine oder mehrere Formen in das vordere Führungsband, d.h. auf den Geschossaußendurchmesser über. Optimaler Weise hat die Übergangsform von Spitze zum Führungsband am Führungsband eine Kegelform im Winkel des Übergangsko- nusses des Patronenlagers. Der damit erreichte Anstieg auf den Geschossaußendurchmesser reduziert den rotationslosen Geschossweg und baut den Gasdruck auf. Die Kegelform am Führungsband bewirkt die Zentrierung des Geschosses zur Laufseelenachse. Eine so erzeugte Zentrierung bewirkt eine Präzisionsverbesserung. Der freiliegende Teilabschnitt des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums kann konkav, konvex oder geradlinig in das vordere Führungsband übergehen. Geht der freiliegende Teilabschnitt des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums geradlinig in das vordere Führungsband über, so verläuft dieser geradlinige Übergang bevorzugt in einem Winkel kleiner gleich 16 Grad zur Geschossachse hin. Aus aerodynami- sehen gründen wird dieser Winkel von < 16° zur Geschossachse bevorzugt.
Eine Ausführungsform ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass von der radial tiefsten Stelle im Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum, d.h. dem Feldmaßdurchmesser oder kleiner, die Geschossform in Richtung Heck konkav, konvex oder geradlinig, über ein oder mehrere Formen, auf den Geschossdurchmesser oder kleiner über- geht. Das vordere Führungsband im Geschossaußendurchmesser ermöglicht eine kleinere Gestaltung des hintern Geschossteils, da dieser somit nicht zum Druckaufbau benötigt wird. Außerdem reduziert sich so auch die Laufbelastung (Reibungswiederstände und damit verbundene Lauferwärmung, Laufablagerungen). Die Geschossform ist bestenfalls so gestaltet, dass sie sich zum Abdichten des Hülsenmundes zum Geschoss und zum Kneifen des Hülsenmundes eignet.
In einer Ausgestaltung ist im Heck des Geschosses ein Aufnahmeraum ange- ordnet, in dem sich ein Stoff befindet, der bei Initiierung eine Leuchtspur erzeugt.
Es handelt sich dann um ein Leuchtspurgeschoss bzw. eine Leuchtspur-Patrone.
In einer Ausführungsform ist im Geschoss eine zur Geschossachse koaxiale Bohrung angeordnet, die zur Geschossspitze offen ist und ist in der Bohrung ein Geschosskern aus Wolfram oder Wolframkarbid angeordnet und ist die Bohrung durch ein Geschossspitzeneinsatz aus Titan oder Zirkonium verschlossen, wobei der Außenmantel des Geschossspitzeneinsatzes ein Teil der Spitze des Geschosses ist. Es handelt sich dann um ein API Geschoss (Armor Piercing Incen- diary Geschoss = Panzerbrandgeschoss) bzw. API- Patrone.
Grundsätzlich ist die Ausführungsform mit dem nach vorn verlagertem Füh- rungsband auf weitere Geschossarten übertragbar. Weitere Geschossarten sind z.B. AP-Geschosse (Armor Piercing = panzerbrechende Geschosse), Teilzerlegungsgeschosse, Vollmantelgeschosse, Monolithen, Deformationsgeschosse und weitere.
Nachfolgend wird die Erfindung anhand von Figuren näher erläutert.
Figur 1 a zeigt eine erfindungsgemäße Patrone 10 und Figur 1 b einen Ausschnitt A von Figur 1 a vergrößert. Figur 2 zeigt das Geschoss 1 1 gemäß Figuren 1 a und 1 b, jedoch ohne Hülse 12. Figur 3 zeigt im Schnitt ein erfindungsgemäße Patrone 10, eingesetzt in einen Lauf 23 einer Waffe. Gleiche Bezugszeichen zeigen auch den gleichen Gegenstand und dies in allen Figuren. Die Patrone 10 besteht aus einem Geschoss 1 1 und einer von hinten auf das Geschoss 1 1 aufgezogenen Hülse 12 mit einem Hülsenmund 13 am vorderen Ende, wobei das Geschoss 1 1 eine Spitze 1 aufweist und diese Spitze 1 heck- seitig in ein umlaufendes vorderes Führungsband 4, welches den Geschossau- ßendurchmesser definiert, übergeht. Unmittelbar angrenzend an dieses vordere
Führungsband 4 in Richtung Geschossboden 14 ist ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses 1 1 erstreckender umlaufender Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum 15 im Geschoss 1 1 angeordnet, in den der Hülsenmund 13 eingreift. Zwischen dem vorderen Führungsband 4 und dem Hülsenmund 13 ist ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses 1 1 erstreckender freiliegender Teilabschnitt 16 des Hülsen- mundaufnahmeraums 15 angeordnet. Der Hülsenmund 13 füllt daher den Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum 15 in Richtung Bug des Geschosses 1 1 nicht vollständig aus. Der Hülsenmund 13 füllt also nur einen Teil des Hülsenmundaufnahme- raums 15 aus und der verbleibende Teil ist außerhalb der Hülse 12 angeordnet.
Durch das so nach vorne verlagerte vordere Führungsband 4, im Folgenden auch Geschossaußendurchmesser genannt, am Geschoss 1 1 , wird der rotationslose Geschossweg beim Schuss auf ein Minimum reduziert. Ebenso ist durch das vordere Führungsband 4 der Gasdruck frühzeitig aufgebaut, wodurch die Möglichkeit entsteht, den Bereich hinter dem vorderen Führungsband 4 im
Durchmesser kleiner zu gestalten. Eine Verringerung des Durchmessers reduziert die Geschossreibung im Lauf 23. Durch weniger Reibung entsteht weniger Wärmeenergie. Die Erwärmung des Laufes 23 wird somit zeitlich verzögert. Die Präzision wird erhöht und bleibt länger erhalten. Auf Grund der reduzierten Ge- schossreibung steigt die Geschwindigkeit, was eine gestreckte Flugbahn erzeugt. Durch den freiliegenden Teilabschnitt 16 des Hülsenmundaufnahme- raums 15 kann der Hülsenmund 13 und ein Bereich 7 des Hülsenmundaufnah- meraums 15 leicht gegen Feuchtigkeit jeglicher Form abgedichtet werden, zum Beispiel durch einen Lack in diesem freiliegenden Teilabschnitt 16 des Hülsen- mundaufnahmeraums 15. Die Geschossspitze 1 kann rund, flach oder spitz sein.
Die Geschossspitze 1 verläuft ogival 2 oder kegelig über ein oder mehrere For- men, wie konkav, konvex oder geradlinig 3 bis zum Geschossaußendurchmesser, bzw. bis zum vorderen Führungsband 4. Optimaler Weise hat die Übergangsform von Spitzte zum Führungsband am Führungsband eine Kegelform im Winkel des Übergangskonusses des Patronenlagers. Die Kegelform am Führungsband bewirkt die Zentrierung des Geschosses zur Laufseelenachse. Eine so erzeugte Zentrierung bewirkt zusätzlich eine Präzisionsverbesserung.
Der damit erreichte Anstieg auf den Geschossaußendurchmesser soll den rotationslosen Geschossweg reduzieren und den Gasdruck aufbauen. Der Geschossaußendurchmesser bzw. das vordere Führungsband 4 wird in jedem Kali- ber definiert über den größten zulässigen Geschossdurchmesser. In CIP Mitgliedsländern ist dies der Wert für„G1 " bei„Patrone Maxi."
Abweichend von dem oben genannten Außendurchmesser wird im Militär- und Behörden-Bereich dessen definierter maximal zulässiger Geschossaußen- durchmesser verwendet. Die Toleranzbereich am vorderen Führungsband 4 liegt bei - 0.1 mm zum zulässigen Geschossdurchmesser.
Der Geschossaußendurchmesser bzw. die axiale Ausdehnung des vorderen Führungsbandes wird nur kurzzeitig gehalten und verläuft aus aerodynamischen Gründen langsam geradlinig 5 auslaufend, auf einen Durchmesser entsprechend
Feldmaßdurchmesser 6 oder kleiner.
Der Abstand zwischen dem vordersten Führungsbandes 4 und dem Feldmaßdurchmesser 6 richtet sich nach dem Kaliber mit unterschiedlichen über- gangslängen. Das vordere Führungsband 4 ist jedoch so positioniert, dass mög- lichst wenig bis kein rotationsloser Geschossweg vorhanden ist. Dabei ist ein Abstand zwischen Hülsenmund 13 und dem vordersten Führungsband 4 wesentlich. Der Feldmaßdurchmesser 6 am tiefsten Punkt des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums
15 wird in jedem Kaliber definiert. In CIP Mitgliedsländern ist dies der Wert für„F" bei„Patronenlager Mini." Abweichend von dem oben genannten Feldmaßdurchmesser 6 wird im Militär- und Behörden- Bereich dessen minimal zulässiges Feldmaß verwendet. Die auslaufende Form kann konkav, konvex oder geradlinig verlaufen. Aus aerodynamischen Gründen wird ein Winkel 9 von < 16° zur Geschossachse 17 bevorzugt. Bei Radien wird der Winkel der entstehenden Geraden zwischen dem vorderen Führungsband 4 und dem Feldmaßdurchmesser 6 verwendet. Vom Feldmaßdurchmesser 6 oder kleiner, verläuft die Geschossform in Richtung
Heck konkav, konvex oder geradlinig 7 (siehe Figur 1 b), über ein oder mehrere Formen, auf den Geschossdurchmesser. Die Geschossform 7 ist bestenfalls so gestaltet das sie sich zum Abdichten des Hülsenhalses 24 und zum Kneifen der Hülse 12 eignet.
Das Geschoss 1 1 ist im Bereich des Hülsenhalses 24 zylindrisch oder mit hinteren Führungsbändern 8 versehen.
In einem Aufnahmeraum 19 im Heck des Geschosses 1 1 kann ein Stoff enthal- ten sein, der eine Leuchtspur erzeugt. In diesem Fall spricht man von einem
Leuchtspurgeschoss.
Bevorzugt ist im Geschoss 1 1 (siehe Figur 3) eine zur Geschossachse 17 koaxiale Bohrung 20 angeordnet, die zur Geschossspitze 1 offen ist und ist in der Bohrung 20 ein Geschosskern 21 aus Wolfram oder Wolframkarbid angeordnet und ist die Bohrung 20 durch einen Geschossspitzeneinsatz 22 aus Titan oder Zirkonium verschlossen, wobei der Außenmantel des Geschossspitzeneinsatzes 22 ein Teil der Spitze 1 des Geschosses 1 1 ist.

Patrone (10) mit einem Geschoss (1 1 ) und einer von hinten auf das Geschoss (1 1 ) aufgezogenen Hülse (12) mit einem Hülsenmund (13) am vorderen Ende, wobei das Geschoss (1 1 ) eine Spitze (1 ) aufweist und diese Spitze (1 ) heck- seitig in ein umlaufendes vorderes Führungsband (4), welches den Geschossaußendurchmesser definiert, übergeht und unmittelbar angrenzend an dieses vordere Führungsband (4) in Richtung Geschossboden (14) ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses (1 1 ) erstreckender umlaufender Hülsenmund- aufnahmeraum (15) im Geschoss (1 1 ) angeordnet ist, in den der Hülsenmund (13) eingreift, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwischen dem vorderen Führungsband (4) und dem Hülsenmund (13) ein sich in Axialrichtung des Geschosses (1 1 ) erstreckender freiliegender Teilabschnitt (16) des Hülsenmund- aufnahmeraums (15) angeordnet ist, d. h. der Hülsenmund (13) füllt den Hül- senmundaufnahmeraum (15) in Richtung Bug des Geschosses (1 1 ) nicht vollständig aus.
2. Patrone nach Anspruch 1 , dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der freiliegende Teilabschnitt (16) des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums (15) mit einem Abdich- tungsmittel, wie z.B. ein Lack abgedichtet ist.
3. Patrone nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Geschossspitze (1 ) ogival (2) oder kegelig über eine oder mehrere Formen in das vordere Führungsband (4), d.h. auf den Geschossaußendurchmesser übergeht.
4. Patrone nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der freiliegende Teilabschnitt (16) des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraums (15) konkav, konvex oder geradlinig in das vordere Führungsband (4) übergeht.
5. Patrone nach Anspruch 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der freiliegende Teilabschnitt (16) des Hülsenmundaufnahmeraunns (15) geradlinig unter einem Winkel kleiner gleich 16 Grad zur Geschossachse (17) in das vordere Führungsband (4) übergeht.
6. Patrone nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass von der radial tiefsten Stelle im Hülsenmundaufnahmeraum (15), d.h. dem Feldmaßdurchmesser oder kleiner (6) die Geschossform in Richtung Heck konkav, konvex oder geradlinig (18), über ein oder mehrere Formen, auf den Geschossdurchmesser oder kleiner übergeht.
7. Patrone nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im
Heck des Geschosses (1 1 ) ein Aufnahmeraum (19) angeordnet ist, in dem sich ein Stoff befindet, der bei Initiierung eine Leuchtspur erzeugt.
8. Patrone nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass im Geschoss (1 1 ) eine zur Geschossachse (17) koaxiale Bohrung (20) angeord- net ist, die zur Geschossspitze (1 1 ) offen ist und in der Bohrung (20) ein Geschosskern (21 ) aus Wolframkarbid angeordnet ist und die Bohrung (20) durch einen Geschossspitzeneinsatz (22) aus Titan verschlossen ist, wobei der Außenmantel des Geschossspitzeneinsatzes (22) ein Teil der Spitze (1 ) des Geschosses (1 1 ) ist.
