Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (10) zum Heißfolienprägen auf Bedruckstoffe (1) mit einem Prägeelement (21, 22), einem Gegenprägeelement (16, 23) und einer Einrichtung zur Bereitstellung von Prägefolie (2). Die erfindungsgemäße Vorrichtung zum Heißfolienprägen auf Bedruckstoffe, wie Bogen oder Bahnen, insbesondere aus Papier, Karton oder Kunststoff, besitzt ein Prägeelement, ein diesem Prägeelement zugeordnetes Gegenprägeelement und eine Einrichtung zur Bereitstellung von Prägefolie. Erfindungsgemäß besitzt die Vorrichtung eine Lasereinheit zum partiellen Erhitzen von Prägefolie im Bereich des Prägeelements, wobei das Prägeelement transparent ausgeführt ist, derart, dass die Laserstrahlen der Lasereinheit das Prägeelement durchdringen und die Prägefolie an den gewünschten Stellen partiell erhitzt wird. Vorteilhaft an dieser Vorrichtung ist, dass keine Werkzeuge auftragsspezifisch erstellt werden müssen. Damit ist ein Motivwechsel der Heißfolienprägung innerhalb kürzester Zeit möglich. Das heißt, ein Motiv kann auch während der laufenden Produktion umgestellt werden.
