Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a method for obtaining fibers from at least one plant stem or from plant bast.
  • a biological pre-digestion can be carried out, for example, over a field roast or a water roast which is barely used due to its negative environmental impact.
  • the use of microorganisms from DE 10 2006 01 3 657 is also known.
  • chemical pre-digestions are known, for example from DE 1 1 2005 001 792 or DE 1 99 05 1 21 or WO 2006/01 0564 or DE 10 2007 030 576.
  • the object of the present invention is to provide a corresponding method which is superior to the conventional one and, with less energy input and reduced process waste, is suitable for obtaining fibers for further processing, even in the case of plant stalks which are difficult to break up. Particular importance is attached to the fact that the fibers have a certain length and in particular a certain fineness and are buoyant under certain conditions.
  • the production according to the invention is to be understood, in particular, as meaning at least partial digestion and at least partial separation of the fibers from other constituents.
  • the at least one plant stem or at least one unit of plant bast with or without cuticle is cultivated with at least one plant stem.
  • the at least one plant stem or the at least one unit of plantbast with or without cuticle has a moisture content of at least 25% and / or plant glues, in particular the pectin and the hemicelluloses, the plant stem or the unit of vegetable bud Begin treatment with the high-speed liquid jet or high-speed gas jet in the swollen state.
  • a unit of vegetable bast or a base unit is to be understood as meaning a coherent structure of vegetable bast which, in terms of its extent, corresponds in particular to a bark area extending over the majority, in particular at least 30%, in particular at least 50% of the plant length.

Suspending pectins by hydromechanical action and / or d. Destruction of cellulose / hemicellulose compound by hydromechanical action and in particular suspension of hemicellulose.
  • the high-speed jet in particular causes the supply of liquid whose solubility product has not yet been reached with regard to the compound in question.
  • the influence of temperature the warmer the solvent, the higher the solubility product.
  • the effect increases, since the high-speed jet initially only has to create a beginning of the separation in the bast cylinder and subsequently becomes simpler in the further course, especially in the longitudinal direction of the plant stem or unit continuous separation allows or a certain part of the bark does not need to be freed from pectin to peel off.
  • gelatinous pectins in particular of bark and / or of fiber material, are in particular sheared out and / or suspended by friction and suspended or entrained in the liquid or gas.
  • the high-speed jet in particular causes a hydromechanical rupture of cell and fiber structures by shear, Friction and traction induced by static friction.
  • the resulting fragments of cells and fibers are suspended and can be separated by sieves from the pulp.
  • the at least one plant stem or the at least one unit of bast with / without cuticle has a moisture content of at least 25%, since in this state plant glues, in particular pectin and hemicelluloses, are present and swollen or plant glues, in particular pectin and hemicelluloses of the plant stem or the unit of bast at the beginning of the treatment with the high-speed liquid jet or high-speed gas jet, are swollen or swollen.

However, it is preferred to perform the treatment at slightly offset points in the longitudinal direction, in particular by 1 to 1 5 mm offset points in the longitudinal direction temporally overlapping. In this case, we chose the temporal overlap as large as possible. In particular, it is preferable to use the high-speed liquid jets or high-speed gas jets to align so that they process a plant stalk guided past you at the intervals mentioned and processing takes place in each case while the plant stem passes through the respective high-speed liquid jet or high-speed gas jet.
