Definitions
- the present invention relates to a continuous line luminaire with an elongated fastening profile and an elongated luminaire cover.
- the continuous line luminaires comprise U-shaped strip lights, in which the wiring, the (control) electronics and the illumination means are arranged.
- large rooms for example supermarkets, factory halls, office premises, etc.
- large rooms for example supermarkets, factory halls, office premises, etc.
- the luminaire covers are arranged at a predefined distance from the U-shaped light rail (or from other fastening profiles to which the luminaire cover is fastened), in particular in order to provide a harmonious overall impression of the continuous luminaire or of the lighting system.
- the present invention has the object to provide a continuous-line luminaire, in which a thermal Extension in the longitudinal direction of the continuous line luminaire does not interfere with the overall visual impression of the luminaire.
- JP 2010 205423A discloses a lighting arrangement according to the preamble of claim 1.
- a continuous-line luminaire comprises: at least one elongated fastening profile and an elongated luminaire cover, which is arranged on the fastening profile; wherein the lamp cover comprises at least one light emitting surface and at least two arranged on opposite longitudinal sides of the lamp cover latching or clamping means with which the lamp cover is arranged captive on the mounting profile; wherein between the lamp cover and the mounting profile at least two arranged on opposite longitudinal sides of the lamp cover friction areas are formed at which the friction between the lamp cover and the mounting profile is increased such that by an operational thermal expansion of the mounting profile and / or the lamp cover no significant relative movement of the Mounting profile for the lamp cover in the friction areas is done.
- the present invention proposes to connect the luminaire cover in these areas so firmly with the fastening profile by at least two opposing friction areas that essentially the entire relative movement of the fastening profile for luminaire coverage can only take place outside of these friction areas. It can thus be ensured that the distances defined in the longitudinal direction between the lamp cover and the fastening profile also change symmetrically, so that a homogeneous overall impression can continue to be provided.
- At least one double-sided adhesive tape is arranged between the fastening profile and the luminaire arrangement.
- a double-sided adhesive tape then adheres on the one hand to the fastening profile (preferably an aluminum roof rail) and to the luminaire cover.
- the friction regions are preferably provided on contact surfaces in the region of the latching or clamping means.
- At least one single-sided adhesive tape is provided, which has on its non-adhesive side an anti-slip coating (for example by a knob-like structure).
- a single-sided adhesive tape can be arranged either on the mounting profile or on the lamp cover or both.
- At least one friction film is arranged between the fastening profile and the lamp cover.
- a friction foil having anti-slip coatings or similar surface structures on both sides can be clamped between the fastening profile and the lamp cover, in particular between the latching or clamping means of the lamp cover and the legs of the preferably U-shaped fastening profile. Due to the increased friction, a kind of fixation is provided in these friction areas, in which no significant relative movement can take place between the lamp cover and the fastening profile, so that a longitudinal extension of these friction areas (as centers of symmetry) takes place.
- a substantially symmetrical longitudinal expansion takes place starting from these central friction regions, so that a longitudinal expansion also takes place substantially symmetrically.
- a friction-increasing surface structure is provided to increase the friction in the friction regions in the fastening profile and / or in the locking or clamping means.
- the surfaces in the friction regions of the fastening profile and the lamp cover can be roughened or other geometric surface structures, which provide a corresponding increase in friction in the mounted state of the continuous line luminaire, can be provided.
- the above-mentioned means for increasing the friction in the friction regions can be provided at the factory for the customer, in particular when using separate elements (especially double-sided adhesive tapes, one-sided adhesive tapes with anti-slip coating, friction films, etc.), these can also be provided by the customer mounted and thus provided specific to the installation.
- separate elements especially double-sided adhesive tapes, one-sided adhesive tapes with anti-slip coating, friction films, etc.
- an adjustment of the positioning / arrangement of the lamp cover can not only be made during assembly, but also can be readjusted at a later time to to optimize the overall visual impression of the continuous line luminaire or the lighting system.
- the latching or clamping means extend over the entire longitudinal axis of the lamp cover. Furthermore, it is preferred that the latching or clamping means are hook-shaped in the longitudinal cross-section. It is preferred that the friction regions are arranged on the latching or clamping means, that is preferably on the hook-shaped latching or clamping means.
- the opposing friction regions are arranged in a central region with respect to the longitudinal axis of the lamp cover in order to be able to provide a substantially symmetrical longitudinal extension of the lamp cover.
- a plurality of arranged on opposite longitudinal sides of the lamp cover friction regions are provided, wherein the respective opposite friction regions uniformly over the longitudinal axis in the Luminaire cover are distributed.
- Such an arrangement of a plurality of opposing friction regions is particularly advantageous when the continuous-row luminaire is comparatively long, so that a correspondingly predefined longitudinal extent can also be provided here.
- the opposing friction areas are arranged in the joint area of two lamp covers.
- the lighting covers are cut to a miter, so that in these areas a shift in the position of the lamp covers would affect each other optically particularly disadvantageous.
- opposite means that the friction regions are arranged immediately adjacent to the joint regions or over the joint regions, so that the friction regions are arranged obliquely opposite one another as seen in plan view.
- a friction region can be provided either in the abutting regions either at each end-face end of the mutually-positioned light covers or it is possible to provide common (via the angling) friction regions of the mutually positioned illuminated covers. In this way, there is the possibility that the abutting luminaire covers are securely held together and an expansion can only take place in the opposite end region of the corresponding lamp covers.
- the fastening profile is a substantially U-shaped light rail, to which at least one equipment carrier and a light source carrier of the continuous line light can be arranged.
- the lamp cover on another mounting profile (such For example, on a plaster rail), which are used to attach the continuous line luminaire.
- the locking or clamping means are made of a more flexible material than the light emitting surface. It is particularly preferred that the locking or clamping means of a thermoplastic elastomer and the light emitting surface of a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or a polycarbonate (PC) are formed. In this connection, it is particularly preferred that the luminaire cover be formed in a coextrusion process or a 2K injection molding process.
- PMMA polymethyl methacrylate
- PC polycarbonate
- a particular advantage of the present invention can thus be seen in the fact that a substantially symmetrical length extension of a lamp cover can be provided relatively cheap, which can also be provided easily and quickly by the customer / installer and also easily adaptable to the respective environmental conditions. Another advantage can be seen in the fact that even existing continuous line lights or lighting systems can be retrofitted with appropriate friction areas.
- FIG. 1 shows a schematic plan view of a first strip light 10 according to the invention.
- the strip light 10 comprises a cross section in the Substantially U-shaped light rail 11, in which in particular a device carrier (not shown) for receiving the necessary electronics and a light source carrier (not shown) for receiving the actual lighting means (for example, light-emitting diodes, fluorescent tubes, etc.) are arranged.
- a device carrier not shown
- a light source carrier for receiving the actual lighting means (for example, light-emitting diodes, fluorescent tubes, etc.) are arranged.
- the strip light rail 11 is covered by a arranged between the legs of the light band rail 11 lamp cover 12, from the in FIG. 1 only the light emitting surface and not their longitudinal locking or clamping means is recognizable.
- the latching or clamping means preferably extend substantially over the entire length of the lamp cover 12, that is to say substantially over the entire longitudinal axis of the elongate continuous strip lamp 10.
- two opposite friction regions 13, 14 are provided between the light band rail 11 and the lamp cover 12, in the preferred embodiment.
- a nubbed strip is arranged in each case.
- These nubbed bands have nub structures on both opposite sides in order to increase the friction between the lamp cover 12 and the light rail 11 such that substantially no relative movement between the lamp cover 12 and the light rail 11 takes place in these friction areas 13, 14, so that an extension in the longitudinal direction of the lamp cover 12 substantially symmetrically from these friction regions 13, 14 takes place.
- the frontal distances of the lamp cover 12 are also changed symmetrically by the light rail 11, so that a visually harmonious overall impression of the continuous line 10 or a lighting system is maintained, even if the light rail 11 and / or the lamp cover 12 due to the operational thermal expansion relative move each other.
- double-sided adhesive tapes one-sided adhesive tapes with anti-slip coating or other suitable friction foils can also be used. It is also possible, the (contact) surfaces of the lamp cover 12 and the Lichtbandschiene 11 to edit (in particular roughen) in order to provide a suitable high friction value can.
- FIG. 2 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of the strip light 10 from FIG. 1 , Identical parts are therefore provided with the same reference numerals. For better clarity, are in FIG. 2 neither a device carrier nor a light source carrier was added.
- the lamp cover 12 comprises a light emitting surface 15, can be led out of the light from the light strip light 10 and two opposing locking or clamping means 16, 17, with which the lamp cover 12 are attached to the substantially U-shaped light rail 11 can.
- the U-shaped light rail 11 may include abutment portions 18, 19, with which the locking or clamping means 16, 17 of the light rail 12 can cooperate.
- the friction regions 13, 14, in the preferred embodiment provided by knob strips (not shown) arranged between the light rail 11 and the light cover 12, can be provided on any contact surface of the light rail 11 with the light cover 12.
- the nap band (so the friction areas) in the region of the locking or clamping means 16, 17 of the lamp cover 12 is clamped, and this can be done on vertical and / or horizontal contact surfaces.
- FIG. 3 shows a schematic cross-sectional view of another preferred embodiment of a continuous line luminaire 10 '.
- FIG. 3 In this case, a light source carrier 20 'arranged in the light band rail 11' is also shown.
- the locking or clamping means 16 ', 17' of this embodiment are formed chop-shaped and are also made of a more flexible material than the Light emitting surface 15 'is provided, in particular to simplify the arrangement of the lamp cover 12' in the light rail 11 '.
- the light cover 12 'shown here is preferably produced by means of a coextrusion process or a 2k injection molding process, the light emission surface 15' preferably made of a polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) or a polycarbonate (PC) and the locking or clamping means 16 ', 17' of a thermoplastic Elastomer are formed.
- PMMA polymethyl methacrylate
- PC polycarbonate
- the present invention is not limited to the previously described preferred embodiments as long as it is encompassed by the subject matter of the following claims.
- the present invention is not limited to continuous band lights having only two opposing friction areas.
- the term "opposite” is not to be understood as meaning an exact orientation of the friction regions, but also obliquely arranged friction regions are to be understood as being opposite in the sense of the present invention.
- the present invention is not limited to providing the frictional regions between the U-shaped light band rail and the lamp cover, but also the friction regions between the lamp cover and another mounting profile (for example, a plaster rail, with which the lamp attached to a wall portion can be provided).
