Definitions

  • the present invention concerns a furnishing element such as a cupboard, a piece of furniture, a container, or suchlike, made of plastic, for interiors and exteriors, which can be used for example to put objects inside it, such as clothes, domestic or work articles or tools.
  • a furnishing element such as a cupboard, a piece of furniture, a container, or suchlike, made of plastic, for interiors and exteriors, which can be used for example to put objects inside it, such as clothes, domestic or work articles or tools.
  • the present invention also concerns a furnishing module that obtains the furnishing element.
  • Furnishing elements are known, made of plastic and comprising a bearing structure with which a plurality of shelves are associated by support means.
  • the bearing structure is provided with two or more walls, of which two are opposite lateral walls connected to each other in proximity to one side by a rear wall. Above, below and at the front of the lateral walls respective walls are associated to define therewith a containing compartment.
  • One or more temporary closing mobile panels are associated with the lateral walls.
  • peripheral components of the furnishing element are made in different sizes, but are normally intended in a single piece.
  • the components used to obtain a furnishing element are intended to obtain that particular furnishing element and are not combinable in any other way over time to obtain other, different furnishing elements of a different size, even possibly using components of the basic furnishing element.
  • One purpose of the present invention is to obtain a furnishing element that provides from the outside the univocal information regarding the internal vertical organization of the containing compartment even when the furnishing element is closed.
  • the bad weather can strike at least part of whatever is contained in the containing compartment that is divided up horizontally.
  • Another purpose of the present invention is to obtain a modular furnishing element both in terms of the disposition of the internal space, and also in terms of a different composition based on requirements, also over time, possibly obtaining a finished furnishing element with two or more components of the base furnishing element.
  • Another purpose of the present invention is to obtain a functional furnishing element with at the same time great esthetic value.
  • the Applicant has devised, tested and embodied the present invention to overcome the shortcomings of the state of the art and to obtain these and other purposes and advantages.
  • the present invention concerns a furnishing module made of plastic that comprises a bearing structure provided with a plurality of walls, that is, components associated with each other, suitable to define a containing compartment inside which at least a vertical dividing element is disposed.
  • At least some of said dividing elements are attached to create a vertical, asymmetrical containing compartment, there also being present at least two mobile panels closing like a door defining the vertical asymmetry of the containing compartment.
  • the present invention also concerns a furnishing element that comprises at least one autonomous furnishing module, or several furnishing modules structured to be associated with each other and to determine another finished furnishing element.
  • a furnishing element 100 is shown defined by at least one furnishing module 10, so that the furnishing element 100 can also be defined by a single furnishing module 10.
  • the furnishing module 10 is made of plastic and comprises a bearing structure 11 determined by the association of modular components 12, 13, 14, 15, organized with each other to define the furnishing module 10 itself.
  • the bearing structure 11 in the case shown in figs. 3 and 4 , consists of three furnishing modules 10, that is, three groups of modular components organized in a vertical direction, with or without the horizontal partitions that determine the unitary furnishing modules 10.
  • the organized unitary furnishing modules 10, if they are associated for example to obtain a unitary furnishing element 100, are structures to be combined with each other, that is, to determine furnishing elements 100 obtained with two, three or more furnishing modules 10.
  • the furnishing module 10 can include connection means 30 disposed in correspondence with the vertices of an upper wall 14 and a bottom wall 15 to allow to superimpose the furnishing modules 10 above each other.
  • the furnishing modules 10 are assembled without at least part of the common horizontal surfaces to determine a continuous vertical containing compartment 16.
  • connection means 30 which are also present in the vertical and internal peripheral components, that is, on reciprocal connection edges, can be configured to obtain a snap-in connection, or a connection with attachment pins or screws or suchlike.
  • the bearing structure 11 is peripherally defined by modular peripheral components intended for two lateral walls 12, a rear wall 13 and at least one dividing element 19.
  • the peripheral modular components are configured to create a unitary furnishing element 100 with an upper wall 14 and a bottom wall 15 that are associated, in a known manner, with the lateral walls 12 and the rear wall 13 to define the containing compartment 16.
  • the peripheral modular components are configured to create a multiple furnishing element 100, that is, consisting of more than one furnishing module 10, with an upper wall 14 and a bottom wall 15 to define the containing compartment 16.
  • At least some of the dividing elements 19 are attached to divide the containing compartment 16 in an asymmetrical vertical manner, and inside which at least one horizontal shelf 20 is disposed inside the containing compartment 16.
  • the furnishing element 100 also comprises at least two mobile panels 18 for closing/opening the containing compartment 16, which are pivoted by hinging means 17 laterally to the bearing structure 11, that is, in correspondence with the lateral walls 12 on the opposite side to that where the rear wall 13 is associated.
  • the mobile panels 18 have different widths L coherent with the internal asymmetry of the containing compartment 16.
  • width we mean the amplitude of the mobile panel 18 in a transverse direction with respect to the development of the lateral walls 12.
  • the furnishing element 100 can comprise two mobile panels 18 with the same length H, so as to close the containing compartment 16 for the whole of its height.
  • the two or more mobile panels 18 can have different lengths H, so that the containing compartment 16 has open spaces that are always accessible even with the mobile panels 18 closed, which also gives the user more information on the contents of the containing compartment 16.
  • length we mean the amplitude of the mobile panel 18 in a longitudinal direction with respect to the development of the lateral walls 12.
  • Each shelf 20 is provided with a support plane 22 to support the articles that are disposed in the furnishing element 100.
  • the support plane 22 has a lower part with respect to its peripheral edge, so that it can collect possible liquid substances that have leaked from containers resting on it, and prevent the liquid from falling on shelves 20 below.
  • the lateral walls 12 and the rear wall 13 have on their side inside and/or outside the containing compartment 16 at least one seating 23 for the installation of a unitary or multiple attachment unit 24 for collection elements 31.
  • the collection elements 31 can be hooks 32 and/or box-like containers 33, used to hang up other articles as well as those disposed on the shelves 20.
  • the attachment unit 24 is coplanar during use with respect to the surface of the lateral walls 12 and the rear wall 13, so as to determine a surface without disconnections.
  • the mobile panels 18 can also provide, in correspondence with their surface facing toward the inside of the containing compartment 16, at least a seating 23 to position the attachment unit 24.
  • the bottom wall 15 can be raised from the support surface of the furnishing element 100 by support elements 25 disposed for example in correspondence with the four vertices of the bottom wall 15 itself.
  • the bottom wall 15, cooperating with the lateral walls 12, can have a front ramp 26, in relation to the modular components, which advantageously facilitates the positioning inside the containing compartment 16 of objects that are particularly bulky and/or heavy.
  • each shelf 20 is associated with a lateral wall 12 and with one side of the dividing element 19, facing the respective lateral wall 12, by means of a sliding guide coupling.
  • the dividing element 19 and at least one lateral wall 12 cooperating with it, have at least one cross-piece element 27 disposed transverse with respect to the longitudinal development of the lateral wall 12 and the dividing element 19.
  • the cross-piece elements 27 can be selectively removable and positioned at any height whatsoever of the bearing structure 11 using attachment elements that can be coupled with holes that are present in correspondence with the lateral walls 12 and the dividing element 19.
  • the shelves 20 In correspondence with the two edges cooperating with the lateral walls 12 and the dividing element 19, the shelves 20 have sliding seatings 28 configured mating with the cross-piece elements 27, to allow the shelf 20 to slide and to guarantee a solid support for the objects that are disposed on the support plane 22.
  • box-like elements or racks or other elements can also slide along the cross-piece elements 27, and perform a function similar to that of the shelves 20 for containers of different types.
