- test image is transmitted from the camera 102 via the interface 104 to the control unit 104 and is compared there by way of pattern recognition via the interface 115 with the PDF data of the database 103. Due to this comparison, the control unit 104 is able to calculate the register correction data for the page register and the longitudinal register with respect to each inking unit and pass it via the interface 116 to the individual inking units of the flexographic printing press.
