Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a seat for a ski lift installation, such as a chairlift for an aerial cable transport installation.
  • each support bar advantageously includes a footrest on which a passenger can rest his feet or his skis.
  • a major drawback of such a chairlift is that a small passenger, such as a child whose legs are shorter than those of an adult, cannot rest their feet or skis on the rest. -feet associated with its place while leaning against the back of the chairlift.
  • a child tends to move closer to the front edge of the chair lift seat so that they can reach the footrest and rest their feet or skis on it, which is very dangerous since the child can then either slide below the safety bar and fall from the chairlift if the guardrail is in the lowered position, or fall directly from the chairlift while the guardrail is still in the raised position.
  • the present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks.
  • the technical problem underlying the invention therefore consists in providing a seat for a mechanical lift installation which is of simple and economical structure, while guaranteeing secure and comfortable transport of passengers, including small passengers.
  • first and second footrests make it possible to ensure optimum comfort for a small passenger, since the latter can easily rest his feet or his skis on the highest footrest among the first and second rests. feet, while leaning against the back of the seat.
  • first and second footrests make it possible to limit the risks of conflict between the first footrest and the shoes of a tall passenger when the latter rests his feet or his skis on the second rest. feet.
  • the seat may also have one or more of the following characteristics, taken alone or in combination.
  • the guardrail is configured such that, when the guardrail is in the lowered position, the safety bar extends transversely at least in part above the au minus one seat portion, and the at least one support member extends downwardly and past a central portion of the at least one seat portion.
  • each of the first and second footrests extends substantially parallel to the safety bar.
  • the first footrest has dimensions smaller than those of the second footrest.
  • each of the first and second footrests is elongated, the first footrest having a length less than the length of the second footrest.
  • each of the first and second footrests extends laterally on either side of the at least one support element.
  • the first footrest comprises a first support part and a second support part extending respectively on either side of the at least one support element
  • the second footrest comprises a first support part and a second support part extending respectively on either side of the at least one support element
  • the first and second bearing portions of the first footrest are respectively shorter than the first and second bearing portions of the second footrest.
  • the first and second bearing portions of the first footrest have substantially the same length, and the first and second bearing portions of the second footrest have substantially the same length.
  • each of the first and second footrests is centered relative to the at least one support element.
  • the at least one support element comprises a support part configured to bear against the at least one seat part when the guardrail is in the lowered position.
  • the bearing portion provided on the at least one support element is configured to bear against the front edge of the at least one seat portion, when the guardrail is in the lowered position.
  • the at least one support member is elongated and curved in its longitudinal direction.
  • the at least one support element extends substantially perpendicular to the safety bar.
  • the first and second footrests of the at least one support element are configured to be offset horizontally with respect to each other when the guardrail is in the position. lowered.
  • the guardrail comprises several support elements offset from one another.
  • each support element is associated with a respective seat part.
  • the at least one seat portion comprises a passage cutout intended for the passage of at least one leg of a passenger seated on the at least one seat portion, the passage notch being configured such that the at least one seat part has a seat depth which varies over at least a part of the width of the at least one seat part.
  • the passage notch is intended for the passage of the two legs of a passenger seated on at least one part of the seat.
  • the passage notch extends over the entire thickness of the at least part of the seat.
  • the at least one seat part has a rear edge and a front edge opposite the respective rear edge, the rear edge of the at least one seat part being adjacent to a rear edge. seat back.
