Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hob with a hob plate and heating devices arranged underneath, as well as an arrangement of such a hob in a worktop.
  • a corresponding hob including an arrangement in a worktop is known, the hob being designed as a weighing device, so to speak.
  • a hob according to DE 102012216935 A1 be improved, namely by taking into account a conflict between, on the one hand, a weighing process that is as error-free and unimpaired as possible and, on the other hand, a hob, in particular with its electrical functional units, is to be sealed. After all, when cooking it can quickly happen that liquid boils over and spreads on the hob. The penetration of such liquid into the hob or into the electrical functional units would be very harmful. At the same time, however, there is the DE 102012216935 A1 recognizable problem of a falsification of the weight measurement by a seal.
  • a hob is known with a hob plate and heating devices arranged below it.
  • the hob is built into a worktop in a cutout in which the hob is sunk, the hob plate with a circumferential outer edge overlapping an edge area of the worktop around the cutout.
  • this cutout it is inserted with a receiving trough on which the hob is mounted or rests by means of mountings in which weight sensors are provided.
  • the bearings are arranged in an outer edge area of the receiving trough.
  • From the EP 2 802 190 A1 is another hob known with a receiving tray.
  • a cooking vessel can be placed on a hob plate for cooking.
  • a heating device is arranged underneath in order to heat the cooking vessel.
  • weight sensors are provided on a horizontal weighing beam. One end of these weighing beams is supported on an actuator, against which they measure the weight of the hob plate. When measuring the weight, the actuator is used to lift the hob plate off the worktop, on which it normally rests with an edge including a seal. If no weight measurement is carried out, the hob plate is lowered back onto the worktop.
  • the invention is based on the object of creating a hob as mentioned at the beginning and an arrangement of such a hob in a worktop mentioned at the beginning, with which problems of the prior art can be solved and in particular it is possible to design or tightly design a hob with a so-called weighing function. to prevent liquid from penetrating the hob or the electrical functional units.
  • the hob has a hob plate and heating devices arranged below it. Furthermore, a receiving trough is provided under the hob plate, in particular in the arrangement according to the invention, wherein this receiving trough can preferably also be part of the hob.
  • the hob plate covers the heating devices or advantageously extends over them, as is usual for a hob.
  • the hob plate and the heating devices are part of a structural unit, which means that they form a structural unit with one another, although other parts or functional units also belong to it.
  • This structural unit is advantageously integrated and can be at least partially closed. In particular, this structural unit can be sealed against the ingress of liquid from above, so that it does not necessarily have to be completely sealed all around.
  • An operating device for the hob is also part of such a structural unit. This operating device can be arranged inside the receiving tray.
  • the receiving trough can contain the heating devices or these can be surrounded by the receiving trough, at least in the lateral direction, in particular also the structural unit.
  • the aforementioned operating device is thus advantageously also surrounded by the receiving tray, in particular the receiving tray runs below the heating devices and / or the operating device.
  • the structural unit is mounted in or on the receiving trough by means of supports.
  • Weight sensors are provided or arranged on these supports, so they can have weight sensors in order to measure a weight load on the supports.
  • This can advantageously be designed in a fundamentally similar manner as in the aforementioned DE 102015226052 A1 or DE 102012216935 A1 .
  • At least three supports, each with weight sensors, should be provided, advantageously four supports for a rectangular hob, one in each corner area.
  • the receiving trough has an outer circumferential tub rim that is raised. This achieves the shape of the receiving pan.
  • the receiving tub and thus also the hob can be arranged on a worktop or in a worktop or in a corresponding cutout.
  • the cutout can have a size that corresponds to the receiving trough, so that it can be used well.
  • the tub edge can run relatively close to the inner edge of the cutout.
  • An outer edge or an edge of the hob plate is at a distance from the tub edge in a direction parallel to the hob plate, that is, a lateral distance.
  • This lateral distance is advantageously given on all sides of the hob plate, that is to say circumferentially or continuously.
  • Such a distance can particularly advantageously be 1 mm to 50 mm, preferably 10 mm to 30 mm.
  • This distance separates the movably mounted hob plate from the fixed tub rim in order to enable this free mobility for weight measurement.
  • weight sensors made of piezoceramic or with strain gauges, relatively little mobility is sufficient for a weight measurement, for example less than 1 mm or even less than 0.1 mm. The most important thing about this mobility is that it is as free as possible.
  • the invention thus achieves, on the one hand, that the heating devices, possibly also an operating device and a power control for the heating devices, are combined as a structural unit and are largely protected, in particular against the ingress of liquid. Due to the lateral spacing of the hob plate, on the underside of which the remaining structural unit or its components are advantageously attached or attached, to the tub edge of the receiving tub, this structural unit is, so to speak, freely movable for an undistorted weight measurement. Liquid which has leaked onto the hob plate and which can flow downwards past the hob plate due to the aforementioned distance to the edge of the hob can be collected in the receiving tray or, in addition to an arrangement or storage of the structural unit with hob plate and heating devices, the receiving tray can have a collecting function . In this way, it can also be prevented that liquid or the like underneath the hob in base cabinets arranged underneath. can penetrate.
  • an inner housing is provided under the hob plate, which is firmly connected to the hob plate.
  • the inner housing can be part of the aforementioned integrated and closed structural unit and, under certain circumstances, can be largely sealed. It can be glued to the underside of the hob plate or screwed or otherwise fastened to holding devices glued on there.
  • the heating devices are arranged in this inner housing, advantageously also an aforementioned operating device or control or power control.
  • the inner housing advantageously surrounds these functional units.
  • the inner housing is particularly advantageously arranged completely within the receiving trough and can be located below the aforementioned rim of the trough.
  • the receiving trough advantageously does not belong to the aforementioned structural unit, but just receives it.
  • the structural unit or the inner housing is not arranged loosely in the receiving trough, but at least at fixed points. More on this is explained below.
  • support projections protrude from the inner housing, in particular to the side or downward.
  • These support projections can be placed on the supports or on weight sensors which are arranged in the receiving trough.
  • a support vertically downwards is regarded as advantageous.
  • support projections since the connection effort for the weight sensors is then possibly greater if they are outside the inner housing and possibly fixedly arranged on the receiving trough, it is possible in an alternative embodiment for support projections to protrude from the receiving trough. In particular, they protrude from a base of the receiving trough, that is to say advantageously vertically upwards.
  • the inner housing or the integrated structural unit then rests on or on these support projections with weight sensors which are arranged at the bottom of the inner housing or in the inner housing.
  • the weight sensors can thus be arranged on or in the inner housing, which is structurally simpler, in particular also with regard to an electrical connection.
  • the support projections can then be part of the supports or form them.
  • the tub has a circumferential channel within its tub rim and directly adjoining it inward, which runs deeper than the plane of the hob plate.
  • This channel can catch leaked liquid, which then overflows, so to speak, at the edge of the hob plate and runs or drips downwards, in particular due to the previously described lateral distance to the edge of the tub.
  • the channel is advantageously a separately manufactured part and is attached to the receiving trough. Since such receiving troughs and also channels are usually made of metal, this enables simplified production.
  • Such a channel should advantageously be designed to be sealed all around in order to prevent water from getting directly into the receptacle, at least as long as it does not overflow.
  • such a channel extends to below the outer edge of the hob plate or a circumferential aforementioned frame part provided on the outer edge of the hob plate.
  • An overlap in the lateral direction parallel to the hob plate can be between 2 mm and 30 mm, in particular between 5 mm and 10 mm.
  • the channel runs partially outside of the hob plate and outside of the inner housing, but reaches under the hob plate at least to such an extent that liquid that runs down or drips is caught by it.
  • the hob plate has an aforementioned circumferential frame part on an outer edge, as is often the case for hob plates, for example as a strip made of aluminum or stainless steel, which is usually glued to the hob plate, the channel should extend just below this frame part or its outer edge .
  • a channel can have a width of approximately 10 mm to 30 mm.
  • a drainage line branches off downward from the channel.
  • a drainage line can for example be a flexible hose and advantageously run to a drainage of a sink in the kitchen that is located in the vicinity.
  • Liquid located in the channel can be disposed of immediately, so to speak, which can also prevent a very large amount of liquid from collecting, the channel then overflowing and the liquid nevertheless running into the receiving trough located below.
  • the channel can have a gradient to a lowest point from which the drainage line then branches off downwards.
  • liquid must or the like from the channel by means of a sponge cloth or rag. removed.
  • a frame part as described above can be provided on the outer edge of the hob plate, which frame part is designed to be circumferential.
  • a frame part can consist of metal, in particular stainless steel or aluminum, advantageously as the usual thin sheet metal. It can either just be flat and placed on top of the hob plate along the outer edge.
  • the frame part can be angled at least once and also cover the outer edge surface of the hob plate, in particular also to protect it against mechanical damage.
  • the frame part can then be pulled further down at the bend with a so-called drip edge, the frame part reaching below the plane of the underside of the hob plate.
  • a frame part is made of flat material or thin sheet metal, this results in a relatively narrow drip edge with an advantageous function.
  • the channel in turn can advantageously have an upwardly drawn inner edge, this inner edge running within the outer edge of the hob plate without a frame part or within a frame part described above or within the above-described drip edge, so to speak engaging under it.
  • the inner edge of the channel can have an upper inner edge which runs above the drip edge or is higher than it, that is to say it engages under and engages behind it. In this way, it can be prevented very reliably that liquid can, so to speak, get over the barrier of the channel and down into the receptacle.
  • a frame part described above can run with a support section parallel to the hob plate and thus be placed on the upper side of the hob plate along the outer edge. Gluing is an advantageous attachment.
  • the frame part can then be angled at least once outside the hob plate, advantageously downwards, for example with a length of 5 mm to 20 mm.
  • the aforementioned drip edge can then be formed on the lower edge.
  • the inner housing is optically closed to the side if an operator looks into the channel at an angle from the side.
  • a frame part can also be angled downwards at least once and run parallel to the hob plate with a contact section, it can, however, be placed and fastened along the outer edge of the hob plate on its underside. Gluing is also an option here.
  • Such a frame part on the underside of the hob plate then only forms a named drip edge, a protective effect or the like. for the outer edge of the hob plate is then not given.
  • the channel is at least partially covered or closed at the top with a cover.
  • the cover can advantageously be designed continuously as a kind of frame or ring-shaped, alternatively it can form such a ring shape with several individual parts.
  • a surface of the cover can be parallel to the hob plate, then advantageously in the same plane as the top of the hob plate or in the same plane as a frame part described above on the top of the hob plate. The surface could also be sloping or rounded.
  • Such a cover is advantageously attached to the receiving trough or to the channel, it is rigid and fixed, so that the aforementioned lateral distance of an outer edge of the hob plate or a frame part arranged on it is advantageously a few millimeters then even to the cover or to whose inner edge exists.
  • an inner edge of the cover is evenly spaced from the outer edge of the hob plate or a frame part arranged on it, so that the cover does not interfere with the free mobility of the hob plate and thus cannot falsify a weight measurement.
  • Such a lateral distance can be 0.1 mm to 10 mm, advantageously 1 mm to 3 mm. It can form a narrow slot that surrounds the hob plate.
  • the cover can rest on the edge of the tub or be connected to it.
  • a tub edge is advantageously angled outward in such a way that it can lie flat on an upper side of a worktop, and the cover then just lies on this resting area. This means that only the cover can be visible from above and not the edge of the tub. This creates a visually reduced, appealing and easy-to-clean arrangement.
  • the channel becomes accessible by removing the cover and can be cleaned if necessary.
  • the cover can advantageously be detached from the hob or from the channel without tools.
  • cover supports can protrude downward from an underside of the cover, for example, which engage in support receptacles in the channel or on a floor of the channel.
  • a support for the cover should be designed to be relatively stable, since it is entirely possible that greater weight forces act on the cover by placing a heavy cooking vessel on it or by supporting it with one hand.
  • Cover supports protruding from the underside of the cover can engage in support receptacles in the channel or on a floor of the channel.
  • a lock can be made, for example magnetically, but is not considered to be mandatory, since the cover will hardly come off by itself when the hob is used.
  • a cover that its upper side runs in one plane with an upper side of the hob plate or with an upper side of the frame part, advantageously along an aforementioned outer edge of the hob plate. Then, in the area of the lateral distance that forms a slot for liquid to flow off on the hob plate, there is only a lateral distance and no height offset. Furthermore, it can be provided that a frame part extends laterally below the cover, but with at least a small distance and, above all, without direct contact. As a result, an aforementioned slot can be retained, only with an angled course, and at the same time the slot can be covered, so to speak.
  • the receiving trough can have a support section protruding laterally outward on the rim of the tub. This runs parallel to the hob plate and thus advantageously also parallel to a worktop in which the hob is to be arranged.
  • This support section can be a few millimeters wide, for example 3 mm to 20 mm. It can be designed to rest on such a worktop, as has been described above. The aforementioned cover can rest on this support section over the channel, as has been described above, advantageously completely covering it.
  • the channel not only serves to collect liquid in order to prevent it from getting into the receiving tub and possibly to functional units of the hob, in particular to electrical functional units.
  • it can also be illuminated and thus cause a luminous phenomenon that can be recognized through the slot between the cover or cover plate and the frame part or hob plate.
  • This luminous phenomenon can also be used functionally as a luminous display in order to show different operating states of the hob or individual heating devices, for example also by means of different colors.
  • By means of directed and upwardly radiating light sources an assignment to the individual heating devices or hotplates of the hob can even be achieved, whereby hot displays, active displays or problem states can possibly also be displayed.
  • the channel can also be designed for sucking off steam that arises when cooking on the hob.
  • the channel should be connected to one or more suction lines of a suction fan, as is generally known from so-called downdrafts as fume cupboards integrated into cooktops or integrated into worktops.
  • a suction fan as is generally known from so-called downdrafts as fume cupboards integrated into cooktops or integrated into worktops.
  • Such a downdraft can be provided centrally in the middle of the hob plate, alternatively also in the form of strips and extend largely across the hob plate in one direction or run along a rear side.
  • the hob has such a downdraft as described above, then these usually have their own collecting basin, since they also have an opening at the top.
  • the gutter can be led to this collecting basin, possibly with an aforementioned drainage line.
  • the receiving trough can also have an opening or recess in a central area, on the one hand to save material and on the other hand to allow more cooling air to reach the hob. This is especially important if it is a hob with induction heating devices, the power control of which generates a lot of heat during operation.
  • FIG. 1 an arrangement 11 according to the invention is shown in an oblique top view with a hob 20 according to the invention in a worktop 13 Fig. 2 and above all the sectional view of the Fig. 3 show, the worktop 13 with an upper side 14 has a usual, rectangular cutout 16 with an inner edge 18.

There it could otherwise reach functionally important parts and, above all, electrical functional units of the hob 20. This can only happen if the channel 40 overflows, but this is very unlikely. Not shown in the Fig.

Such a container can, for example, sit in a central opening of the hob plate 21, as is known from the aforementioned downdraft hobs.
  • Fig. 3 From the Fig. 3 it can be seen that the structural unit 32, which contains the functional units necessary for cooking, is mechanically decoupled from the channel 40, which, so to speak, takes on the sealing function. Since the distance of the frame part 24 in the lateral direction to the tub edge 38 or to the support section 39 is too large to remain open, also because this would not be visually appealing, although a certain distance is important for the mechanical decoupling, a cover 45 described above is required intended.
