Description

SUPPORT D'ART ET PROCEDE DE FABRICATION D'UN TEL SUPPORT
DOMAINE TECH NIQUE GENERAL ET ART ANTERIEUR La présente invention concerne le domaine de l'art et plus précisément le domaine des supports d'art.
Il est connu pour un artiste, tel qu'un peintre, d'utiliser un support de peinture, désigné abusivement « toile ». Un support de peinture comprend généralement un châssis rigide rectangulaire et une toile tissée tendue sur le châssis afin de former un support de peinture comportant une surface plane. Par la suite, on désigne par le terme « oeuvre » un support de peinture qui est peint.
Un peintre peut être amené à exposer des oeuvres dans une galerie d'art. Une telle exposition permet au peintre de présenter son travail ainsi que de proposer ses oeuvres à la vente. Un visiteur d'une exposition peut ainsi acquérir une toile et facilement la transporter pour l'intégrer par la suite à la décoration intérieure de son logement.
En ce qui concerne l'art urbain et en particulier le domaine du graffiti, un artiste graffeur créé une oeuvre non pas sur une toile, mais généralement sur une portion de mur dont l'aspect et la texture participent à l'effet esthétique recherché par l'artiste. De manière similaire aux peintres « classiques », les artistes graffeurs peuvent également exposer leurs oeuvres dans une galerie d'art ou dans un musée. Cependant, une telle exposition est plus complexe à organiser. En effet, la portion de mur utilisée comme support de l'oeuvre peut difficilement être présentée sur un lieu de l'exposition.
Tout d'abord, il est généralement complexe de découper une portion de mur, en particulier quand ce dernier appartient à l'espace public, pour des raisons aussi bien pratiques qu'administratives. En outre, une portion de mur est lourde et difficile à manipuler, ce qui présente un autre inconvénient. En effet, le déplacement d'une telle oeuvre nécessite l'utilisation d'un emballage spécialisé qui est d'autant plus volumineux s'il s'agit d'une portion de mur. De plus, la manipulation d'un tel emballage présente de nombreuses contraintes, telles que l'utilisation d'outillage adapté et le transport par véhicule spécialisé. De telles contraintes sont des freins qui limitent considérablement l'exposition des artistes graffeurs. Enfin, lorsqu'une telle oeuvre doit être installée à l'intérieur d'une galerie ou d'un musée, celle-ci est installée sur le sol du fait de son poids, ce qui limite le nombre d'oeuvres pouvant être exposées dans une galerie qui est habituellement adaptée pour recevoir des toiles peintes accrochées aux murs de la galerie ou du musée.
Un des objectifs de la présente invention est de proposer un nouveau support d'art, notamment pour graffitis, permettant de conserver l'effet esthétique recherché par un artiste tout en étant léger et transportable afin de permettre d'être exposé de manière simple et pratique.
On connaît dans l'art antérieur par le document US6237294 et US 2004/003561 un panneau décoratif simulant l'apparence d'un matériau naturel qui est destiné à être collé sur une paroi verticale afin de réaliser un parement. On connaît par ailleurs le document FR2580547 qui enseigne de réaliser un support de peinture résistant aux intempéries par utilisation d'un moule et d'un contre-moule. Le support est fixé à un châssis.
PRESENTATION GENERALE DE L'INVENTION
A cet effet, l'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un support d'art, en particulier pour la réalisation de graffitis, comprenant :
une étape d'injection d'un matériau durcissable dans un moule comprenant une empreinte représentant un relief d'une portion de mur,
une étape de fixation d'une toile audit matériau durcissable,
une étape de démoulage de manière à former un support d'art comprenant une toile recouverte d'un élément en matériau durci ayant le relief d'une portion de mur. Un tel procédé de fabrication permet de former un support d'art assimilable à une portion de mur d'un point de vue esthétique (forme, relief, granularité, sonorité, etc.) mais tout en possédant un poids réduit. Contrairement à une portion de mur, un tel support d'art peut être accroché à une paroi verticale d'une galerie d'exposition de manière simple et pratique à la manière d'une toile de peinture classique. De manière avantageuse, le procédé de fabrication comprend une étape de fixation d'un châssis à ladite toile afin de rigidifier le support d'art et de faciliter son accrochage au mur à la manière d'une toile de peinture classique.
De manière avantageuse, l'empreinte du moule est obtenue par application d'un matériau durcissable sur une portion de mur afin de s'adapter à son relief, permettant de créer une matrice pour la fabrication de plusieurs toiles. Avantageusement, le procédé de fabrication comprend une étape de coloration de l'élément en matériau durci de manière à imiter la couleur d'un mur, permettant d'apporter au support d'art un aspect similaire à un mur.
De manière préférée, le châssis possède des dimensions plus petites que les dimensions de l'élément en matériau durci. On peut ainsi obtenir un bord périphérique en matériau durci, ce qui permet de cacher le châssis latéralement et renforcer l'impression visuelle que le support d'art est une portion d'un mur existant.
De manière préférée, le matériau durcissable possède, à l'état durci, une densité comprise entre 1 et 2.5, de préférence, 1 .7. Le poids du support d'art est ainsi bien inférieur à celui d'une portion d'un mur traditionnel. Le support d'art peut ainsi être aisément déplacé et exposé.
L'invention concerne également un support d'art comprenant une toile comprenant une face avant et une face arrière et un élément en matériau durci comprenant une face avant ayant un relief d'une portion de mur et une face arrière fixée à la face avant de ladite toile.
Un tel support d'art présente avantageusement un aspect assimilable à une portion de mur d'un point de vue esthétique (forme, relief, granularité, sonorité, etc.) mais tout en possédant un poids réduit.
Selon un aspect préféré de l'invention, le support d'art comprend un châssis fixé à la face arrière de ladite toile permettant par la suite d'accrocher le support d'art à une paroi verticale d'une galerie. En outre, les efforts sont avantageusement supportés par le châssis, ce qui protège l'élément en matériau durci.
De manière avantageuse, la toile est tendue sur ledit châssis permettant d'en faciliter l'utilisation et, en particulier, son accrochage.
De manière préférée, l'épaisseur de l'élément en matériau durci est comprise entre 1 mm et 50 mm de manière s'adapter à tout relief de mur. De préférence encore, l'épaisseur de l'élément en matériau durci est comprise entre 2 mm et 7 mm de manière à obtenir un compromis entre les caractéristiques de relief et un poids réduit.
De préférence, la toile est fixée à l'élément en matériau durci par application d'un matériau durcissable, en particulier, par le même type que celui formant l'élément en matériau durci. Ainsi, l'élément en matériau durci est solidarisé de manière intime avec la toile, ce qui améliore la durée de vie du support d'art et améliore l'aspect esthétique, la toile étant intégrée dans l'élément en matériau durci.
De préférence encore, le châssis est fixé à la toile par application d'un matériau durcissable, en particulier, par le même type que celui formant l'élément en matériau durci. Ainsi, le châssis est intégré de manière esthétique et demeure peu visible. De manière avantageuse, le châssis est fixé à ladite toile sans utilisation d'éléments de fixation rapportés tels que des clous ou des agrafes.
Avantageusement, l'élément en matériau durci est coloré de manière à imiter la couleur d'un mur, ce qui permet d'utiliser un support d'art représentatif de tous types de murs.
En outre, l'invention porte également sur un support d'art constitué d'une toile comprenant une face avant et une face arrière, d'un élément en matériau durci comprenant une face avant ayant un relief d'une portion de mur et une face arrière fixée à la face avant de ladite toile et d'un châssis fixé à la face arrière de ladite toile.
Enfin de manière avantageuse, l'ensemble des étapes de liaison, d'une part, entre la toile et l'élément en matériau durci et, d'autre part, entre la toile et le châssis est réalisé par application d'un matériau durcissable, de préférence, d'un même matériau durcissable. De manière préférée, ledit matériau durcissable est identique au matériau de l'élément en matériau durci. Le support d'art obtenu possède ainsi une structure homogène dans laquelle la toile et le châssis sont intégrés dans le matériau durcissable. Le support d'art imite ainsi de manière avantageuse l'aspect massif d'un mur. En outre, les efforts sont avantageusement supportés par le châssis, ce qui protège l'élément en matériau durci.

Il faut noter que les figures exposent l'invention de manière détaillée pour mettre en oeuvre l'invention, lesdites figures pouvant bien entendu servir à mieux définir l'invention le cas échéant. DESCRIPTION D'UN OU PLUSIEURS MODES DE REALISATION ET DE MISE EN OEUVRE
Il va dorénavant être présenté un support d'art 1 pour graffitis ainsi qu'un procédé de fabrication d'un tel support d'art 1. Néanmoins, un tel support d'art 1 est adapté pour tout type d'art, notamment, la peinture, le dessin, etc.
Selon une forme de réalisation préférée, en référence aux figures 1 et 2, le support d'art 1 comprend une toile 3 comprenant une face avant 3A et une face arrière 3B, un élément en matériau durci 2 comprenant une face avant 2A ayant un relief d'une portion de mur et une face arrière 2B fixée à la face avant 3A de ladite toile 3 et un châssis 4 fixé à la face arrière 3B de ladite toile 3. Ainsi, à la manière d'une toile de peinture classique, le support d'art 1 possède un poids réduit tout en ayant les caractéristiques de relief d'un mur. Un tel support d'art 1 peut être exposé dans une galerie ou un musée de manière pratique afin de promouvoir le travail d'artistes, notamment, celui des artistes graffeurs.
Les différents éléments du support d'art 1 vont être dorénavant présentés de manière indépendante en référence à la figure 2 représentant le support d'art 1 selon une vue en éclaté.
Le châssis 4 est une structure rigide, typiquement rectangulaire, en bois, en métal ou en matériaux synthétiques. Comme illustré à la figure 4, le châssis 4 comporte une pluralité de montants 40 qui sont assemblés afin de former une ossature pour la fixation de la toile 3. Le châssis 4, formant la structure rigide du support d'art 1 , désigne l'arrière du support d'art 1 et est adapté pour être fixé sur un mur vertical, par exemple d'une galerie ou d'un musée, à la manière d'une toile de peinture classique. Un tel châssis 4 est connu de l'homme du métier et peut présenter des formes diverses.
La toile 3 est réalisée en fibres de verre et tendue afin d'être fixée sur le châssis 4. Il va de soi que la toile 3 pourrait être réalisée à partir de fibres différentes, en particulier, du lin ou du coton. De préférence, une toile 3 adaptée pour être peinte est utilisée. En référence à la figure 2, la toile 3 comprend une face avant 3A et une face arrière 3B, par l'intermédiaire de laquelle la toile 3 est fixée au châssis 4, par exemple, par collage, agrafage, imprégnation ou analogue. De manière préférée, la toile 3 comporte une épaisseur comprise entre 0,3 mm et 2 mm.
Toujours en référence à la figure 2, l'élément en matériau durci 2 comprend une face avant 2A ayant un relief d'une portion de mur et une face arrière 2B fixée à la face avant 3A de ladite toile 3, par exemple, par collage, agrafage, imprégnation ou analogue. Selon une forme de réalisation préférée, la toile 3 est mise en contact avec le matériau durcissable après séchage en les fixant ensemble par application d'une première couche 61 de matériau durcissable. Une telle fixation permet d'intégrer la toile 3 au matériau durcissable, ce qui améliore, d'une part, le comportement mécanique et la durée de vie, et, d'autre part, l'aspect esthétique du support d'art 1 . Le relief d'une portion de mur peut être réalisé de différentes manières, notamment, par gravage, usinage, moulage ou analogue. Par relief de portion de mur, on entend un relief ayant une forme de pavage rectangulaire. A titre d'exemple, le relief de portion de mur peut imiter une portion de mur de types mur en briques, parpaings ou différents types de béton ainsi que représenter les joints, le grain de la pierre ou même les stries et défauts. En référence à la figure 3, il est représenté un élément en matériau durci 2 comportant un relief en parpaings. L'élément en matériau durci 2 est de préférence réalisé en résine, de préférence en résine acrylique mais il va de soi que d'autres matériaux durcissables pourraient convenir, notamment, du plâtre, de la terre, de l'argile. Une résine possède de manière avantageuse une densité inférieure à celle d'un mur en pierre ou béton, ce qui permet d'alléger une œuvre par comparaison à l'art antérieur. L'élément en matériau durci 2 est rigide et ne peut pas être plié à la main, ce qui limite l'usure et renforce la sensation de mur.
De manière préférée, l'élément en matériau durci 2 possède une épaisseur comprise entre 1 mm et 50 mm afin de former tout type de relief. De préférence, l'élément en matériau durci 2 possède une épaisseur comprise entre 2 mm et 7 mm de manière à assurer un compromis entre une qualité de relief et un poids réduit.
De préférence, le support d'art 1 comporte un bord périphérique 10 en relief de manière à simuler une portion de mur découpée d'un mur existant. De manière préférée, les dimensions de l'élément en matériau durci 2 sont supérieures aux dimensions du châssis 4 de manière à ce que le bord périphérique du support d'art 1 soit également en relief. De préférence, l'élément en matériau durci 2 s'étend en saillie du châssis 4 d'une distance comprise entre 1 et 4 cm afin de former un bord périphérique indépendant du châssis 4. L'impression visuelle d'un mur arraché est renforcée. De préférence, le bord périphérique en relief est réalisé lors du moulage. En outre, cette distance permet de garantir un support optimal par le châssis 4 tout en permettant la formation d'un relief périphérique sans impacter le châssis 4. Dans cette forme de réalisation, le support d'art 1 comprend un châssis 4, permettant de tendre la toile 3 afin d'en faciliter l'utilisation et l'accrochage de l'œuvre sur le mur d'une galerie. Il va de soi que le support d'art 1 pourrait ne pas comprendre de châssis 4, la toile 3 étant alors directement fixée à un mur ou analogue.
Il va dorénavant être décrit un exemple de mise en œuvre d'un procédé de fabrication d'un tel support d'art 1 .
En référence à la figure 5, le procédé de fabrication du support d'art 1 comprend :
- une étape El de fourniture d'un moule 5 comprenant une empreinte 50 représentative du relief d'un mur,
une étape E2 d'injection d'un matériau durcissable dans le moule 5 de manière à créer un élément en matériau durci 2 ayant un relief d'une portion de mur, une étape E3 de fixation d'une toile 3 audit élément en matériau durci 2, - une étape E4 de positionnement d'un châssis 4 en contact avec ladite toile 3, une étape E5 de fixation du châssis 4 sur la toile 3, et
une étape E6 de finition du support d'art 1 .
Un tel procédé industriel de fabrication permet de fabriquer des supports d'art de manière pratique, à une cadence élevée et à un coût réduit. Les différentes étapes vont être dorénavant présentées de manière individuelle.
Le procédé comprend une étape El de fourniture d'un moule 5 comprenant une empreinte 50 représentative du relief d'un mur. De manière préférée, l'empreinte 50 du moule 5 est obtenue par réalisation d'une empreinte d'une portion de mur existant. De préférence, l'empreinte 50 est réalisée à l'aide d'un matériau durcissable tel qu'un polymère, en particulier, un matériau silicone. Une couche de silicone est appliquée, à l'état malléable (liquide ou pâteux) sur une portion d'un mur existant de manière à s'insérer dans chaque interstice du mur existant et suivre tous les détails de son relief. Après un temps de séchage, la couche de silicone se solidifie tout en restant flexible et peut être retirée du mur existant.
De manière préférée, la couche en silicone est associée à un contre-moule, conçu dans un matériau solide et léger, par exemple du plâtre, afin d'augmenter la résistance mécanique du moule 5. La couche en silicone est de préférence associée au contre- moule par collage mais il va de soi que d'autres modes de fixation pourraient convenir. Un tel moule 5 comprenant ladite empreinte 50 peut par la suite être utilisé pour la fabrication de plusieurs supports d'art 1 . L'empreinte 50 forme ainsi un négatif du relief du mur existant. De préférence, l'empreinte 50 définit le bord périphérique en relief de l'élément durci.
Il va de soi que le moule 5 pourrait être fabriqué de manière différente, par exemple, à l'aide d'une imprimante trois dimensions, par sculpture, gravage ou usinage d'un moule, etc.
Toujours en référence à la figure 5, le procédé comprend une étape E2 d'injection d'un matériau durcissable, ici une résine acrylique, dans ledit moule 5 comprenant l'empreinte 50 d'un mur. La résine à l'état liquide s'insère dans chaque interstice du moule 5 pour suivre tous les détails de son empreinte 50. Par la suite, on désigne « élément en matériau durci » 2, l'élément en résine obtenu après séchage et solidification de la résine liquide. Lors de l'injection de la résine, le moule 5 est positionné horizontalement comme illustré à la figure 5. Il va de soi que tout matériau durcissable pourrait être utilisé en remplacement de la résine. La résine est avantageuse car elle est simple à utiliser et permet de former des reliefs comportant de nombreux détails, ce qui est avantageux pour former les joints des murs.
De manière avantageuse, la hauteur du moule 5 est déterminée de manière à s'adapter à l'épaisseur de l'élément en matériau durci 2 que l'on veut obtenir, dans cet exemple, entre 2 et 7 mm.
Dans une troisième étape E3, la toile 3 est ensuite déposée dans le moule 5, en contact avec l'élément en matériau durci 2 et fixée audit élément en matériau durci 2. De préférence, une première couche 61 de matériau durcissable est appliquée sur la face arrière 2B de l'élément en matériau durci 2 lors de la fixation de la face avant 3A de la toile 3 à l'élément en matériau durci 2, permettant ainsi une adhésion intime de la toile 3 avec l'élément en matériau durci 2 par imprégnation de la toile 3. Néanmoins, il va de soi que la toile 3 pourrait également être collée. Dans une quatrième étape E4, le châssis 4 est positionné sur la face arrière 3B de la toile 3 afin d'être fixé à cette dernière. En référence à la figure 5, une deuxième couche 62 de matériau durcissable est appliquée à la face arrière 3B de la toile 3 préalablement à la mise en place du châssis 4. Le châssis 4 est positionné à l'horizontal dans le moule 5 contre la face arrière 3B de la toile 3, ce qui permet l'adhésion.
La toile 3 est ensuite fixée tendue sur le châssis 4 dans une cinquième étape E5 de manière à former un ensemble solidaire. A cet effet, en référence à la figure 5, le bord périphérique de la toile 3 est rabattu sur l'arrière du châssis 4 de manière à tendre la toile 3 sur la face avant du châssis 4. De manière préférée, la toile 3 est plaquée sur le châssis 4, ce qui permet également de renforcer mécaniquement le support d'art 1 et de protéger l'élément en matériau durci 2 contre les chocs. De préférence, en référence à la figure 5, une troisième couche 63 de matériau durcissable est appliquée sur la toile 3 rabattue sur le châssis 4 afin de l'imprégner et ainsi la rigidifier, ce qui permet de fixer le châssis 4 et la toile 3 de manière intime, d'améliore( la résistance mécanique et de renforcer l'aspect esthétique. Après séchage, la toile 3 est ainsi directement fixée au châssis 4. De manière préférée, la fixation du châssis 4 est réalisée avant que la deuxième couche 62 de matériau durcissable ne sèche afin de pouvoir fixer la toile 3 de manière tendue sur le châssis 4.
Il va de soi que la fixation pourrait également être réalisée à l'aide de clous ou d'agrafes fixés à l'arrière ou sur le bord périphérique du châssis 4.
De manière préférée, le même type de matériau durcissable est appliqué à chaque étape de fixation afin de fusionner mécaniquement la toile 3 et le châssis 4 à l'élément en matériau durci 2. De préférence, un seul et même matériau durcissable est utilisé, de manière préférée, de la résine.
Enfin, après un temps de séchage, l'ensemble composé de l'élément en matériau durci 2, de la toile 3 et du châssis 4 est démoulé dans une sixième étape de finition E6, de manière à former un support d'art 1 comprenant une toile 3 recouverte d'un élément en matériau durci 2 qui est rigide, ayant le relief d'une portion de mur, le tout fixé à un châssis 4 rigide. Au cours de cette étape de finition E6, l'élément en matériau durci 2 peut être sculpté de nouveau afin d'améliorer le rendu du support d'art 1 . En particulier, le bord périphérique 10 de l'élément en matériau durci 2 peut être travaillé afin d'améliorer le rendu esthétique. De manière optionnelle, la face avant 2A de l'élément en matériau durci 2 est colorée de manière à imiter la coloration d'un mur. Ainsi, le support d'art 1 présente toutes les caractéristiques avantageuses d'un mur tout en possédant un poids réduit. La face avant 2A de l'élément en matériau durci 2 du support d'art 1 peut par la suite être directement utilisée pour la réalisation d'un graffiti.
Un tel support d'art 1 représentatif d'une surface de mur est alors léger, transportable et pratique à utiliser. Le support d'art 1 , désigné ainsi « toile-mur », possède également les caractéristiques esthétiques d'un mur telles que sa texture, sa granularité, sa sonorité ou son aspect au toucher. De plus, comme le support d'art 1 comporte un châssis 4, le graffiti peut être exposé de manière analogue à une toile de peinture, ce qui facilite l'organisation d'exposition. Le châssis 4 permet en outre de renforcer les caractéristiques mécaniques du support d'art 1 en évitant de solliciter l'élément en matériau durci 2.

Claims

REVENDICATIONS
Procédé de fabrication d'un support d'art (1 ), en particulier pour la réalisation de graffitis, comprenant :
une étape d'injection (E2) d'un matériau durcissable dans un moule (5) comprenant une empreinte (50) représentant un relief d'une portion de mur,
une étape de fixation (E3) d'une toile (3) audit matériau durcissable, une étape (E5) de fixation d'un châssis (4) à ladite toile (3),
une étape de démoulage (E6) de manière à former un support d'art (1 ) comprenant une toile (3) recouverte d'un élément en matériau durci (2) ayant le relief d'une portion de mur, le châssis (4) possédant des dimensions plus petites que les dimensions de l'élément en matériau durci (2) de manière à ce que le bord périphérique du support d'art (1 ) soit en relief.
Procédé selon la revendication 1 , dans lequel la toile (3) est fixée audit élément en matériau durci (2) par application d'un matériau durcissable.
Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 2, dans lequel le châssis (4) est fixé à ladite toile (3) par application d'un matériau durcissable.
Procédé selon l'une des revendications 1 à 3, comprenant une étape de coloration de l'élément en matériau durci (2) de manière à imiter la couleur d'un mur.
Support d'art (1 ) comprenant une toile (3) comprenant une face avant (3A) et une face arrière (3B), un châssis (4) fixé à la face arrière (3B) de ladite toile (3) et un élément en matériau durci (2) comprenant une face avant (2A) ayant un relief d'une portion de mur et une face arrière (2B) fixée à la face avant (3A) de ladite toile (3), le châssis (4) possédant des dimensions plus petites que les dimensions de l'élément en matériau durci (2) de manière à ce que le bord périphérique du support d'art (1 ) soit en relief.
6. Support selon la revendication 5, dans lequel la toile (3) est tendue sur ledit châssis (4).
7. Support selon l'une des revendications 5 à 6, dans lequel le châssis (4) possède des dimensions plus petites que les dimensions de l 'élément en matériau durci (2) .
8. Support selon l 'une des revendications 5 à 7, dans lequel l 'élément en matériau durci (2) possède une épaisseur comprise entre 1 mm et 50 mm.
9. Support selon l'une des revendications 5 à 8, dans lequel l 'élément en matériau durci (2) s'étend en saillie du châssis (4) d' une distance comprise entre 1 et 4 cm.
