Definitions

  • the invention relates to a window, in particular a door window, according to the preamble of claim 1.
  • door and window are used synonymously. Where elements of a window are described, the descriptions of these elements in relation to the prior art and the invention can also be related to a door, since this only differs from a window in the design of the frame, which is not reflected in the claims here .
  • the invention relates in particular to a so-called door window.
  • This is a window with a surrounding frame and a sash that is movably guided on the frame, whereby the lower horizontal frame spar when installed is preferably completely or almost aligned with the surrounding floor and may also be used as a step profile.
  • a window is known whose sash is rotatably mounted exclusively with rotating fittings.
  • the invention has the task of creating a window that is particularly advantageously suitable for use as a door window, whereby it should be possible to accommodate functional elements towards the frame on the sash frame on the lower frame spar without their accommodation colliding with the arrangement of the rotating fitting .
  • the invention solves this problem through the device of claim 1.
  • the support arm is fixed above the functional element on the horizontal sash frame spar. Furthermore, the support arm of the rotating fitting is arranged vertically - in the vertical installation position of the window, in particular when installed in a building opening - above the lower fold contour of the lower horizontal - i.e. lower horizontally aligned - sash frame spar.
  • the functional element can be designed as a floor seal for sealing a lower gap, in particular a threshold gap between the window frame and the sash, for example as a lowerable floor seal or a non-lowerable strip floor seal.
  • the swivel fitting is designed as a combined swivel/tilt bearing and that, in addition to the swivel fitting, a tilt bearing is provided in a further lower corner of the window between the window frame and the sash frame, which has a support arm which is preferably fixed at the same vertical height as the support arm of the rotating fitting on the lower horizontal frame spar (104) of the sash frame.
  • a drainage arrangement is formed on the window, with a wind and water barrier being formed at least in the vertical fold areas between the vertically extending sash frame spars and the vertically extending frame spars, and this water barrier in a lower vertical area of the vertically extending sash frame spars has a lateral offset.
  • the respective sealing end piece has a cross section aligned vertically upwards with the center sealing profile and/or has engagement contours for interacting with analogous contours on the center sealing profile and that a sealing side and a sealing lip are not straight vertically downwards but in one Arch or extend downwards over an arch, which causes the sealing side and the sealing lip to run laterally outside of the base seal, so that water that runs down the outside of the center seal profile and then runs down the respective seal end piece is guided past the outside of the base seal and remains outside the outer sealing lip.
  • the water barrier W is redirected to the outside on the insulating web, corresponding to the offset, as on the sealing corner piece.
  • the lower horizontal frame spar of the frame is provided with a one-part or multi-part cover has, which has openings through which water can enter a trough in the lower frame spar, the trough having a derivation, the trough in the main extension direction of the lower vertical sash frame spar being shorter than the greatest length of the vertically lower horizontally oriented frame spar of the frame in this Direction.
  • the cross-sectional end of the tub can be within the largest length dimension of the lower frame rail, which simplifies assembly and installation at the installation site.
  • the tub can be limited exactly to the area between the two vertical frame spars, in which drainage is actually necessary, which is not the case in the edge area exactly under these two vertical frame spars.
  • Another advantage of this type of construction is that the tub is easier to clean since it does not have to be covered by the vertical frame bars in the edge area and there are fewer or no inaccessible angles in the tub than in the prior art.
  • water that runs down the inside of the frame is passed into the area between spaced sealing lips of the base seal between the sealing lips through the openings into the trough and from there is further drained outwards through the drainage becomes. Because this type of water drainage is advantageous and easy to implement in terms of design. It is suitable for windows and especially - but not only - for door windows.
  • the lower frame spar of the frame has an inner and an outer metal profile and in between the trough for holding water, from which the drainage is led out.
  • the tub is covered vertically upwards by a cover, the upper level of this cover preferably being designed to be flush with the adjacent floor and the cover having openings through which water flows vertically from above the cover can run into the bottom of the tub.
  • the trough is composed of a central channel section and two end pieces, which close the channel section at its ends in cross section, so that the trough, which is open at the top, is formed overall from the channel section and the end pieces. It can advantageously be provided that the channel section and the end pieces are made of plastic and/or are glued together and/or that the drain is formed on one of the end pieces.
  • tub and / or its components - in particular the channel section part - via first locking elements, which interact with corresponding second locking elements on the metal profiles, with the metal profiles are connected so that the gutter and/or its components on the one hand and the metal profiles on the other hand form a type of composite profile construction.
  • the channel and the metal profiles can be fixed to one another in a snap-locking manner using rotational movements.
  • a base profile protecting the gutter is formed on the lower frame spar below the gutter.
  • the cover is designed in several parts and is composed of several profile sections. This also makes manufacturing and assembly easier.
  • the cover has at least one middle piece and end pieces attached to the side and that the end pieces are fitted precisely to the middle piece on one of their sides and are cut out on the other sides in such a way that there is a precise fit on the This results in frame contouring that is oriented or directed towards the fold.
  • the middle piece can also be omitted if the cover consists of two pieces or just one piece.
  • Figure 1a shows four side views of a window 1 with a frame 200 and a sash 100 arranged thereon with one or more fittings, in particular rotatable and / or tiltable.
  • the sash 100 preferably has a sash frame 101, in which a surface element 102 is fixed - in particular attached adhesively - is.
  • Some of the fittings are in too Fig. 5 and 6 corresponding drawings are shown.
  • the sash frame 101 has four angles, in Fig. 1 each at right angles to one another as a rectangular frame spars 103 to 106, to which the surface element 102 is fixed.
  • the surface element 102 can be designed, for example, as a glass pane, in particular as an insulating glass pane. It can but also be designed as a metal plate or plastic plate. Particularly preferred in the context of the implementation of the present invention is the design as an insulating glass pane, with the frame being designed as a sash frame of a window or - a synonymous term in the context of the description of the figures: a door.
  • the invention is preferably designed on a so-called door window.
  • This is an element in which a likewise circumferentially closed sash frame 100 is arranged on a peripherally closed frame 200 so that it can rotate and/or tilt in the manner of a window.
  • door window a lower frame spar 202 of the window frame is designed in the manner of a threshold and can also be used as a step clamp or profile ( Fig. 2a-c ).
  • Fig. 2a represents the usual installation position that the window 100 takes on a building or in a building opening.
  • the door is vertically aligned (XZ plane) and the vertically lower frame spar 202 of the frame 200 is also the vertical frame spar of the frame at the installation location on the building and the vertical frame spar 104 of the sash frame 100 is also the lower vertical one at the installation location on the building Frame rail of the frame.
  • the frame spars 103 to 106 of the sash and the frame are preferably designed as so-called composite profiles and have at least one metal shell and at least one insulating web zone (which will be explained below as an example) or have several metal profile zones and / or several insulating zones made of insulating webs or elements analogous thereto .
  • the sash frame 101 can initially have "same" frame spars 103, 104, 105, 106 all around in terms of cross-section, all of which are mitred and assembled to form the surrounding frame.
  • the lower frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101 then preferably has an extension or an extension profile 110 towards the bottom, which has at least one functional element, in particular a floor seal 121 (to be explained later). Fig. 2 ), and thus fills a gap between the outer edge of the actual composite profile of the lower sash frame spar 104 and the upper edge of a horizontally lower frame profile 202.
  • This approach profile 110 can have an outer metal shell 111 and an inner metal shell 112.
  • a holding and compensating profile 113 can be formed between these.
  • the latter is preferably made of plastic.
  • Fig. 2a , b and c as well as Fig. 5a referred.
  • the floor seal 121 is preferably arranged and held on the holding profile ( Fig. 2 ).
  • the frame 200 also has a circumferentially closed frame, which is composed of preferably four frame spars 201, 202, 203, 204.
  • the frame has an upper horizontal frame spar 204 and two vertical frame spars 201, 203.
  • a lower horizontal frame spar 202 is also provided. Here it is connected to the vertical frame spars 201, 203 in an overlapping manner at right angles or is attached to them.
  • the horizontally upper frame bars 204, 106 and the vertical frame bars 201, 203 and 104, 106 can have the same cross section. Then they can be easily mitered and connected so well.
  • the window is designed as a door window and can be used or installed in a building opening in such a way that the lower frame spar 202 of the frame is also used as a kind of step profile, so that its top side can be designed to be flush with the surrounding floor area or something like that can be mounted
  • the vertically lower frame spars 202, 104 are preferably constructed differently and implement more functions than the other frame spars.
  • fittings are required. These fittings are arranged at various points between the frame and the sash frame 101.
  • At least one rotation function is implemented with the fittings in order to be able to rotate the sash 100 about a vertical axis of rotation.
  • the rotating fitting 300 has a base element 301 ( Fig. 6a-d ). This base element 301 is fixed to the frame 200. It can do this with arms 302, 303 have, which each engage in grooves 205 on the insides (as on the rebate sides, which are oriented towards the sash) of the lower frame spar 202 and the one vertical frame spar 201 and are fixed there. Fixing can be done in various ways, for example with screws.
  • the rotating fitting 300 is designed as a concealed fitting which, when closed, lies completely in the fold between the sash and the frame.
  • the actual joint unit 305 that implements the rotation and/or tilting function is fixed to the base element 301.
  • This joint unit 305 is designed here as a multi-joint construction.
  • a tilt position can be implemented as an option.
  • positive locking means 314, 315 can be provided on or between the base element 301 and the joint unit 305. For example, these can together form a dovetail connection.
  • the joint unit 305 can then be easily mounted on the base element 301, in particular simply pushed onto it.
  • the joint unit 305 has at least one horizontally aligned support arm 306.
  • This support arm 306 is fixed to the lower horizontal frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101. It can advantageously be provided that the support arm 306 is fixed in a fitting groove 107 of the lower horizontal frame spar 104 of the sash frame (this groove is in Fig. 2b and c to recognize).
  • the term fitting groove 107 should not be taken too narrowly. It can also be formed by a corner area or the like of the frame spar 104. This groove lies above the shoulder profile 110.
  • the joint unit 305 also has a vertically aligned support arm 307. This can also be fixed in a fitting groove of one vertical frame spar 101 of the sash frame or rest against it.
  • One or more articulated arms 308, 309 allow or realize a rotating opening of the sash relative to the frame in this area.
  • Single or multi-joint constructions of various types can be implemented. In this respect, the following is purely an example EP 2 811 092 A2 refer.
  • a further, in particular analogous, swivel joint (not shown here) and/or an opening scissor can be provided in the upper area of the window.
  • the horizontally aligned support arm 306 of the joint device 305 engages in this frame spar 104 at a vertical distance from the lower vertical edge of the lower frame spar 104 (viewed here as a unit with the extension profile 310) of the sash frame 101 and is fixed to this frame spar 104.
  • this vertical distance is selected so that a functional device 120 of the sash frame can and preferably is arranged between the horizontally aligned support arm 306 and the lower vertical edge of the lower frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101.
  • this functional device can be designed with at least one floor seal 121.
  • the bottom seal 121 can further preferably be designed as a bottom seal 121 that can be lowered (and raised again).
  • the functional device can also be designed as a compensation profile or a thermal insulation strip or the like.
  • the distance between the lower edge of the support arm 306 and the lower vertical edge of the lower frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101 is at least 10 mm or more in order to provide space for arranging the functional device.
  • a tilting function can also be implemented with the fittings in order to be able to pivot the sash 100 into a tilting position about a lower horizontal axis of rotation provided in the lower region of the window.
  • the joint unit 305 of the rotating fitting 300 can also have a tilt bearing device.
  • a (second) or further tilt fitting 310 can then be provided (see Fig. 5c ). This can be arranged in the second lower corner area in the fold between the frame 200 and the sash 101.
  • the tilt fitting 301 preferably has an abutment 311 on the frame 200 and a joint unit 312 on the sash frame 101. When opening by rotating, these elements are separated from each other. When tilting, they work together as a tilting bearing.
  • the base element 311 of the tilting fitting 310 is attached to the frame 200 like or similar to the base element 301 of the rotating fitting 300, only in the other lower corner in the rebate area between the frame 200 and the sash frame 101.
  • the joint unit 311 can in turn have a horizontally aligned support arm 313.
  • this support arm like the support arm 306, is fixed to the lower horizontal frame spar 104.
  • the support arms 306, 313 and also the horizontal tilting axis Y are spaced from the floor and that these devices/axes are preferably located below the at least one functional element, in particular above the floor seal 121.
  • the wing 100 extends in an X/Y plane. Perpendicular to the image plane, the Z direction extends perpendicular to the main plane - the X/Y plane - of the window sash (see also Fig. 2 ).
  • the frame spars 103 - 106 and 201 to 204 each have a main extension direction in which they run. For light metal profiles, this is usually one direction in which the light metal profiles are manufactured, which can be done, for example, by extrusion.
  • the frame spars 103 to 106 are assembled into a sash frame 100 with a rectangular shape. This is a particularly preferred embodiment, but not a mandatory embodiment.
  • the frame spars 103 - 106 of the sash frame 101 and the frame spars of the window frame 200 are each preferably of the same design on the upper horizontal side and on the two vertical sides in cross section with respect to the window frame and the sash frame, but can also be designed differently. They are preferably designed as composite profiles with one or more metal profile zones FM1, FM2 (sash frame) or BM1, BM2 (frame) and one or more insulating zones, in particular insulating web zones, Fl1 (sash frame) or Bl1 (frame).
  • the sash frame 101 can also have identical frame bars 103, 104, 105, 106 all around, all of which are mitred and assembled to form the surrounding frame.
  • the lower frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101 is then adjoined by the extension or the mentioned extension profile 110, which at least accommodates the floor seal and thus creates a gap between the outer edge of the actual composite profile of the lower sash frame spar and the upper edge or the upper cover of the lower frame profile 202 fills.
  • This approach profile 110 can have the outer metal shell 111 and the inner metal shell 112.
  • the holding and compensating profile 103 is formed between these.
  • the latter is preferably made of plastic.
  • the lower frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101 can then have the one or more functional devices already mentioned on the approach profile 110 or a directly formed approach profile area. It also has the fitting groove 107 already mentioned. Fig. 2b ) and c) illustrate that the Fitting groove 107 is located here above the functional device.
  • the profile groove provided on the frame spars 103 to 106 of the sash frame 101 is used here as a fitting groove 107, but is offset vertically upwards, since the lower frame spar is supplemented by the extension profile 110 with the holding and compensating profile 113 with the floor seal 121 is.
  • a compensation block 132 is also shown. This can be placed between the upper edge of the floor seal 121 and the lower edge of the actual composite profile of the lower frame spar 104 of the sash frame 101.
  • the compensation block 132 can consist of heat-insulating material. It is preferably provided horizontally where no support arm or other part of the rotating fitting 300 or the tilting fitting 310 is provided.
  • the contour of the compensating block 132 clearly shows that where no compensating block 132 is provided, essentially within this contour area - and usually also exactly vertically above the lowerable floor seal 121 - at least the support arm and possibly also articulated arms in any case Folded state of the respective fitting 300, 310 (with the door closed) are arranged.
  • the lower horizontal frame spar 104 of the wing here has an inner and an outer metal profile as metal profile zones FM1 and FM2 and at least one insulating web zone Fl1 made of insulating webs in between. Between the metal profile zones FM1 and FM 2 and in the installed state, preferably vertically below the insulating web zone Fl1, the holding and compensating profile 113 is arranged with a bottom seal 121 which is advantageously designed to be lowerable here.
  • This lowerable floor seal 121 can have a base element 122 and a sealing body 124.
  • the sealing body 124 is preferably arranged or guided on the base element 122 in a vertically displaceable manner.
  • the base element 122 can be fixed directly or via the holding and compensating profile 113 to the frame spar, in particular to one of the metal profiles of the one or more metal profile zones FM1, FM2 or, as provided here, as part of the attachment profile 110, which vertically downwards the lower frame spar supplemented or completed.
  • One or more sealing lips 125, 126 be trained. Preferably, things are viewed from the inside out (in Fig. 2 i.e. from right to left) an inner sealing lip 125 (relative to an interior of a building) and an outer sealing lip 126 relative to an exterior of a building).
  • the sealing body 124 rests with its sealing lips 125, 126 on a cover 208 - which can also serve as a step profile - of the lower horizontal frame spar 202 of the frame 200. And in the raised state - when the sash is opened and moved - the sealing body is in a vertically upper position and its sealing lips 125, 126 do not rest on the cover 208 ( Fig. 2 and 3 ).
  • a lowerable floor seal another type of seal can also be provided, such as a strip seal (not shown).
  • the purpose of the floor seal 121 is to seal the vertically lower gap when the sash is closed, which usually results in a sealing of a lower rebate area or gap on a door between the outside and inside of a building. This function is not adversely affected here by the arrangement of the rotating fitting 300 and/or the tilting fitting 310, since their attachment to the lower sash frame spar 104 is vertically spaced from the lower edge of the sash frame spar 304.
  • the bottom seal 121 is also shown schematically Fig. 5a shown, which also clearly illustrates that the support arms 306, 313 are formed above the lowerable floor seal 121.
  • the frame 200 also has a circumferentially closed frame. This has an upper horizontal frame spar 204 and two vertical frame spars 201, 203 which can have the same cross section and can be mitered together. However, the lower frame spar 202 is constructed in a different way. It has inner and outer metal profiles 210, 211 and in between a kind of trough 213 for holding water, from which a drain 214 is led out.
  • This tub 213 is covered at the top by the cover 208 - a threshold profile.
  • the upper level of this threshold profile is preferably aligned with the adjacent floor and the threshold profile therefore also serves as a tread profile.
  • the cover 208 as the threshold profile has openings 209 at certain intervals in the main extension direction, through which water can run vertically downwards into the trough 213 from above the threshold profile.
  • the tub 213 preferably has a V or U shape in section. It is preferably composed of a central channel section 215 and two end pieces 216, 217, which close the channel section 215 at its ends in cross section, so that the trough 213, which is open at the top, is formed from the channel section part 215 as a whole.
  • the channel section 215 and the end pieces 216, 217 can be glued together.
  • the drain or drain 214 is preferably formed on one of the end pieces 216, 217.
  • the drain 214 passes through a cutout 218 provided here on the side in one of the metal profiles 210, 211 of the lower frame spar and drains the water out of the window, for example into a drain line, not shown here.
  • the end pieces 216, 217 preferably have a cross-sectional closing wall 216a, 217b and can optionally have adjoining short areas or approaches 216b, 217b, which preferably have a geometry that corresponds to the trough contour of the channel section 215 in cross section. This makes it easier to integrate the process and glue the elements 215, 216 and 217 together.
  • the tub in the Channel section - here formed by the end pieces 216, 217 which can also be designed somewhat differently than shown in the figures - within the largest length of the lower frame spar 202 lie, which simplifies assembly and installation at the installation site.
  • the tub 213 can be limited exactly to the area between the two vertical frame spars 301, 303, in which drainage is actually necessary, which is not the case in the edge area exactly under these two vertical frame spars.
  • Another advantage of this type of construction is that the tub 213 is easier to clean since it does not have to be covered by the vertical frame bars in the edge area and there are fewer or no inaccessible angles in the tub 213 than in the prior art.
  • the tub 213 and/or its components - in particular the gutter section part 215 - can can be connected to the metal profiles 219, 220 via first locking elements 221, which cooperate with corresponding second locking elements 222 on the metal profiles 219, 220, so that the channel 213 and the metal profiles 219, 220 form a type of composite profile construction. It is preferably provided that the channel 213 and the metal profiles 219, 220 can be fixed to one another in a locking manner using rotary movements (see arrows P1, P2). Below the channel, a base profile 234 can be formed on the lower frame spar 202. This can be made of plastic, for example.
  • the frame 200 in particular with the lower advantageous frame spar 202, on which an effective water drainage function is implemented with simple means, is also viewed as a further development of the invention disclosed in this application. It is envisaged that water that runs down the outside of the installed window on the surface element 102 and on the outside of the window frame 200 on its vertical frame bars 201, 203 is drained away directly so that it does not enter at all the area between the sealing lips 125, 126 of the base seal 210 is directed. It remains outside the outer sealing lip 125 of the base seal.
  • a so-called center seal is formed on the frame spars 201, 203, 205.
  • This is available as a center seal profile 223 (see Fig. 2b ) is formed, which has a sealing side 224, which ends towards the sash 200 in a sealing lip 225, which rests on an abutment of the corresponding sash frame spar, here on an insulating web 130, which protrudes slightly into the fold here, so that when the window is closed a certain wind and water barrier W is created in the fold.
