  • a printing plate intended in particular for use in a flexographic printing process and consisting of a flexible carrier film and a printing image layer applied to the carrier film, begins with the preparation of a printing plate blank, which is generally considerably larger than the printing plate to be produced.
  • a structuring process which can be carried out, for example, with a laser light source, those areas are structured that are to serve either as the printed image or as areas between the printed image in subsequent work steps.
