  • this diving device has a number of disadvantages.
  • emergency situations can arise if the air supply line gets caught or tangled on an obstacle, for example if the diver dives through under the obstacle. It can be very difficult and tedious for the diver to get out of such a situation, which in connection with a possible panic of the diver can sometimes be life-threatening for the diver.
  • the air supply line (as well as the breathing line) is to be connected to the housing in the area of the beginning of the interior space and is led from there over the diver's shoulder.
  • the diver would be set into rotation by the tensile forces if he did not actively work against the initiation of the rotational movement by means of appropriate movements.
  • the diver is continuously pushed out of his ideal, preferably horizontal, diving position by pulling the diver's upper body upwards.

  • the sliding into one another can also include sliding onto one another.
  • the housing is rigid does not, of course, rule out a certain - not least physically unavoidable - elastic deformability of the housing as a function of the action of a force.
  • the rigidity of the housing is to be seen in particular in relation to the flexibility of the flexible part, wherein the flexible part could also be referred to as a (flexible) membrane or pump bellows.
  • Both the housing and the flexible part can be made of suitable plastics in each case.
  • the opening is an opening of the interior through the housing to the outside, but in an operating state of the diving device the opening is closed by the flexible part.
  • the flexible part can be removed for maintenance and cleaning purposes, the opening then being released and the diving device being in a maintenance state.
  • the operating state of the diving device it can be used to dive into water, in which case (when the diver dives with the diving device) it happens that the diving device and the diver are surrounded by the water.
  • the area of the interior space end / interior space beginning is to be understood as a spatial area around the interior space end / interior space beginning which includes the interior space end / interior space beginning but is not necessarily limited to the interior space. Since compressed air is in any case in the interior, the compressed air is thus supplied to the diver in particular from that area of the interior that is located in the area of the beginning of the interior or in the area of the interior Area around the beginning of the interior. As described, this supply takes place via a breathing line, which accordingly has to be fluidically connected to that area of the interior space that is in the area of the beginning of the interior space and is therefore usually connected to the housing in the area of the beginning of the interior space.
  • a suitable valve arrangement must be provided which ensures that air sucked in through the air supply line does not escape from the air supply line again when the flexible part is pressed into the interior.
  • a first check valve which could also be referred to as an air supply valve.
  • the valve arrangement must enable the diver to inhale through the breathing line without the inhaled air being sucked out of his lungs again when the flexible part is pulled out of the interior.
  • a second check valve In the example mentioned, both the first and the second check valve are loaded with the full pressure that is built up in the pump volume by the air compression and must withstand this.
  • an exhalation valve for exhaling the air into the water can be provided in addition to the first and second check valve, the exhalation valve being exposed to a comparatively lower pressure load than the first and the second check valve.
  • the contact section should extend as far as possible over the interior space, preferably essentially over the entire interior space, and the flexible part should extend over the largest possible section of the inner wall, preferably essentially over the entire area Inner wall, rest in the contact section when the flexible part is pressed into the interior.
  • the maximum height extends accordingly to the beginning of the interior.
  • the function of the diving device is basically guaranteed even if the maximum height does not extend to the beginning of the interior space, although the diving device's performance may be somewhat weaker due to the unused pump volume then present.
  • An actuating device known per se can be provided so that the diver can pull the flexible part out of the interior again.
  • the latter can in particular include leg straps with foot straps and connection means to connect the leg straps to the flexible part.
  • the diver can pull the flexible part out of the interior by means of his legs.
  • variants of the actuating device are also known where, as an alternative or in addition, grip elements are provided for the diver's hands so that the diver can at least partially pull the flexible part out of the interior with his arms.
  • the area of the maximum height is to be understood as a spatial area around the maximum height, which includes the maximum height but is not necessarily restricted to the interior space.
  • the fixation of the air pump, in particular the housing, in front of the diver's chest is desirable in order to maintain a slightly higher pressure of the surrounding water in the area of the air pump compared to the pressure of the surrounding water in the area of the diver's lungs when the diver is in a typical diving position, ie in an approximately horizontal or slightly upright position with the stomach pointing downwards. Accordingly, the air is then compressed by the air pump to a slightly increased pressure, which typically corresponds to a water column of 5 cm to 15 cm, which enables the diver to breathe in without problems.
  • the diver By attaching the air supply line to the carrying device centrally behind the diver's back, the diver can always be optimally balanced, even if tensile forces occur on the air supply line.
  • the air supply line cannot rotate and / or pull the diver to the side because tensile forces acting on the diver via the air supply line act near the diver's center of gravity - approximately opposite the diver's navel.
  • the diver may have to detach himself from the air supply line.
  • a connection of the air supply line to a connection which can be arranged on the housing in particular, is necessary for this.
  • the fastening behind the diver's back must be loosened.
  • the quick release device is provided for this purpose according to the invention. The quick release device allows a certain amount of displacement of the two displacement elements without the displacement elements being separated. This is necessary in order to allow a certain, unavoidable movement between the carrying device and the air supply line attached to it during the normal diving process.
  • the release is basically sufficient if the displacement in exactly one specific direction exceeds a certain amount.
  • the rapid release device can be manufactured very simply and inexpensively.
  • the first displacement element is designed as a hook and the second displacement element as an eyelet or vice versa.
  • the rail having a stop which limits the displacement of the profile body and the rail relative to one another in one direction.
  • the profile body can of course also have a hook shape, at least in sections.
  • the two sliding elements in the connected state are displaceable relative to one another in two opposite directions over the work area before the two displacement elements can be converted into the released state by further displacement in these directions.
  • the first displacement element is designed as a rail and the second displacement element as a profile body or vice versa.
  • an air duct is provided which is designed in such a way that when the air is sucked in, the air from the area of the inner space end in the direction of the inner space beginning at least up to an area of maximum height, preferably up to the area of the inner space beginning, and can flow into the interior.
  • the air flows in any case up to the area of the maximum height, and if the air is not yet in the interior space, it flows from the area of the maximum height into the interior space. If the area of the maximum height is also in the interior, the feature according to which the air can flow into the interior is automatically fulfilled.
  • the air duct enables a connection of the air supply line to be optimally positioned in order to to establish a fluidic connection between the air supply line and the air duct and thus also with the interior space, without the diver rotating from an essentially horizontal to an upright position when a tensile force is applied to the air supply line.
  • a connection for the air supply line is provided in the area of the interior end.
  • the connection does not necessarily have to connect directly to the air duct or be arranged on it, but can also be arranged on the housing. The latter can be the case in particular when the air duct is arranged within a cross section of the housing or within the interior space.
  • connection there is ergonomically particularly favorable access to the connection, which is easily possible for the diver even with the diving device strapped in. This makes it easier to separate the air supply line from the connection, especially in emergency situations.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of the diving device provides that the connection for the air supply line has a quick-release fastener for connection to the Air supply line is provided, wherein the quick release has in particular a bayonet lock and / or a short thread and / or a sliding sleeve lock.
  • the quick-release fastener is a known connection.

  • a large number of known quick-release fasteners can be used come, for example, a snap lock that can be released via a button to be operated or a lever to be operated.
  • the air duct could be arranged as a separate element from the housing outside the housing.
  • the air duct necessarily forms an element protruding from the housing, this is at least not conducive to the handiness of the diving device.
  • the risk is increased that an obstacle on the diving device, namely on the air duct, gets caught during diving.
  • the housing has a cross section normal to the longitudinal axis and the air duct is arranged within the cross section.
  • the air duct is arranged inside the interior.
  • the air duct can be implemented in a particularly simple manner by means of an additional element which is fundamentally separate from the housing and which is arranged in the interior, which sometimes greatly simplifies the production from a technical point of view.
  • the air duct is formed at least in sections, preferably completely, by a duct boundary wall separate from the housing.
  • the channel boundary wall can take on the role of the above-mentioned separate element. If then (in the case of the arrangement of the air duct in the interior) the flexible part is pressed into the interior, it inevitably comes to bear in sections on the Channel boundary wall.
  • the duct delimitation wall can be viewed as a spacer between a section of the inner wall of the housing and the flexible part in order to enable the unimpeded flow of air from the area of the inner space end to the area of the inner space beginning.
  • the channel delimitation wall is detachably attached to the housing, preferably in the interior. This enables the channel delimitation wall to be removed for maintenance and cleaning purposes when the diving device is in the maintenance state.
  • the air duct is formed at least in sections, preferably completely, through the housing.
  • a housing wall can be geometrically designed in such a way that the air duct is arranged within the cross section of the housing wall. This can also have advantages in terms of manufacturing technology, in that the housing including the air duct can be manufactured in one manufacturing step, for example by means of an injection molding process.
  • the diving device in a preferred embodiment of the diving device according to the invention it is provided that, seen in a direction parallel to the longitudinal axis, several openings arranged one behind the other are provided which fluidically connect the air duct to the interior space when the flexible part is pulled out of the interior space.

  • the mentioned design in particular as a grid, can have hygienic advantages when washing out.
  • the diving device is comparatively lighter and thus enables the diving device according to the invention to be transported more comfortably.
  • the material saving can lead to a certain saving in manufacturing costs.
  • the air channel opens up a large number of possibilities for the positioning of the air supply valve or the first check valve, which go beyond the positioning in the area of the connection of the air supply line.
  • said valve could theoretically also be arranged at any point in the entire course of the air supply line.
  • a first check valve is provided for the air supply line, the first check valve being connected between at least one section of the air duct and the interior.
  • the first check valve preferably connects directly to the air duct.
  • the first check valve could, however, also be arranged in the middle of the air duct, where there is particularly good protection of the first check valve against external influences. It is particularly advantageous to position the first check valve in the air duct in the area of the beginning of the interior space, since the unused air pump volume can thus be minimized.
  • the first check valve is arranged in the air duct usually does not make sense, since the first check valve can then not optimally fulfill its blocking function during air compression.
  • an arrangement of the first check valve in connection with the air supply line is the preferred embodiment.
  • the tensile forces are essentially transferred to the diver's shoulders and from there to the upper area of the diver's back or chest / abdomen, which is the case with higher loads, i.e. greater depths, is perceived as unpleasant and can reduce comfort and diving performance.
  • a preferred embodiment of the diving device provides that at least one stiffening element is provided in order to transfer tensile forces that act on the housing when the flexible part is pulled out of the interior into an area of the pool , in particular on the front side of the diver, the stiffening element being connected to the housing and protruding from the housing in the area of the interior end in an operating state of the diving device.
  • the stiffening element attached to the housing means that the tensile forces occurring on the housing are at least partially - as compressive forces - directed into the area of the diver's hip or pelvis, the area usually being at the Is arranged front of the body of the diver, since the air pump, in particular the housing, as stated above, is usually fixed in front of the diver's chest.
  • the housing For anatomical reasons, namely due to the position of the lungs in the diver's body, the housing must be placed relatively high on the upper body in order to be as close as possible to the lungs and, if the diver changes position, a slight overpressure as constant as possible with the air pump to ensure air pressure generated due to the ambient overpressure compared to the ambient overpressure at the location of the diver's lungs.
  • the stiffening element is arranged in such a way that, at least in the operating state, it points away from both the interior space end and the interior space beginning and extends at least in sections along the longitudinal axis of the housing.

  • an automatic separation by means of a quick release device 32 used for the detachable fastening is provided in preferred embodiments of the diving device 1 according to the invention, cf. Figures 8a-d as Figures 9a-b .
  • the quick release device 32 has a first displacement element that is attached to the air supply line 19, and a second displacement element that is attached to the carrying device, preferably on the hip belt 40, the first displacement element and the second displacement element each one to each other have complementary geometry that a The two sliding elements can be pushed into one another in order to bring the two sliding elements into a connected state 37 (cf.
  • the rapid release device 32 thus allows a certain displacement of the two displacement elements without the displacement elements being separated. This is necessary in order to allow a certain unavoidable movement between the carrying device and the air supply line 19 attached to it during the normal diving process. In the emergency situation described, however, there is a much larger displacement when the diver 17 with the carrying device moves away from the air supply line 19 entangled in an obstacle, so that the quick release device 32 releases the connection between the air supply line 19 and the carrying device.
  • the first displacement element is designed as a hook 33 and the second displacement element as an eyelet 34 or vice versa.
  • Figure 8a shows a variant in which the first displacement element, which is connected to the air supply line 19, is designed as a hook 33 and the second displacement element, which is connected to the Hip belt 40 is connected, as an eyelet 34.
  • the working area 39 is essentially defined by a hook length between a free end of the hook 33 and a closed end of the hook 33, the release taking place in only one direction. The latter would be the case if the diver 17 or the hip belt 40 are in Figure 8a would move to the right so far that the eyelet 34 would slide off the free end of the hook 33. On the other hand, if the hip belt 40 were moved to the left, there would be no transfer to the released state 38, since the eyelet 34 would strike the closed end of the hook 33.
  • FIG Figure 8b shows the reverse case, where the hook 33 is fixed on the hip belt 40 and the eyelet 34 on the air supply line 19, the analogous to FIG Figure 8a Said applies.
  • the hook 33 ( Figure 8a ) or the eyelet 34 ( Figure 8b ) can be shifted accordingly along the air line 19 before the hook 33 ( Figure 8a ) or the eyelet 34 ( Figure 8b ) is fixed to the air line 19.
  • a particularly preferred embodiment of the diving device 1 provides that the two sliding elements in the connected state 37 in two opposite directions are displaceable relative to one another via the working area 39 before the two displacement elements can be transferred into the released state 38 by further displacement in these directions.
  • the first displacement element can be designed as a rail 35 and the second displacement element as a profile body 36 or vice versa, with the profile body 36 being able to be pushed onto the rail 35 at both ends.
  • Figure 8c shows a case in which the first displacement element is designed as a profile body 36 and the second displacement element as a rail 35, but the rail 35 has a stop 50 at one end, so that a situation analogous to the exemplary embodiments of FIG Figures 8a and 8b results.
  • the profile body 36 Due to its geometry complementary to the rail geometry, the profile body 36 can be pushed onto the rail 35 in order to produce the connected state 37, but only at that - free - end of the rail 35 that is not provided with the stop 50.
  • the profile body 36 can then be moved along the entire course of the rail 35 without the connected state 37 being canceled. That is, the course of the rail 35 defines the working area 39.
  • the profile body 36 ( Figure 8c ) or the rail 35 ( Figure 8d ) can be shifted accordingly along the air line 19 before the profile body 36 ( Figure 8c ) or the rail 35 ( Figure 8d ) is fixed to the air line 19.
  • Figure 9a shows an example of a rail 35 and a profile body 36 in the released state 38.
  • the rail 35 has a negative profile in the form of a recess with an essentially U-shaped cross-section with ends of the legs of the U-shape facing each other, in which the profile body 36 with a positive profile with a substantially T-shaped cross-section can be inserted laterally in order to produce the connected state 37. That is, in the connected state 37, the profile body 36 is in engagement with the rail 35. Due to the complementary geometries of the rail 35 and the profile body 36, the profile body 36 in the connected state 37 can only be moved along the course of the rail 35, but not approximately perpendicular to the Course of the rail 35.
  • the rail 35 here has two free ends - without a stop 50 - so that a transition from the connected state 37 to the released state 38 is possible by sufficiently large displacement of the profile body 36 along the rail 35 in two opposite directions.
  • Figure 9b shows a completely analogous embodiment, in which, however, the rail 35 has a positive profile with a substantially T-shaped cross section and the profile body 36 has a negative profile with a substantially U-shaped cross section with ends of the legs of the U shape pointing towards one another.
  • the profile body 36 can correspondingly be pushed laterally onto the rail 35 - at both free ends - in order to produce the connected state 37.
  • the profile body 36 in the connected state 37 can only be displaced along the course of the rail 35, but not approximately perpendicular to the course of the rail 35.
  • a transfer from the connected state 37 to the released state 38 is possible by sufficiently large displacement of the profile body 36 along the rail 35 in two opposite directions.
  • connection 44 of the air supply line 19 is not optimal with regard to a rapid separation of the air supply line 19 from the connection 44 in emergency situations, since the connection 44 is sometimes not easily accessible for the diver 17. Furthermore, this arrangement of the connection 44 can sometimes lead to tensile forces being introduced via the air supply line 19 when swimming forward underwater 22, which attempt to turn the diver 17 from an optimal horizontal position into an upright position.
  • Fig. 2 shows a schematic, partially cut-open front view of a housing 3 of an air pump 2 of an embodiment of a diving device 1 according to the invention, in which this problem does not arise because the connection 44 of the air supply line 19 is arranged in the area 10 of the interior end 7 on the housing 3.
  • the air sucked in through the air supply line 19 must be able to flow from the connection 44, ie from the area 10 of the inner space end 7, at least to that area of the inner space 4 which is in the area 21 of the maximum height 18, preferably in the area 9 of the inner space beginning 6, to be able to be compressed there.

  • the air duct 20 is designed such that when the air is sucked in, the air from the area 10 of the interior end 7 in the direction of the interior beginning 6 is at least up to can flow into an area 21 of the maximum height 18, preferably as far as the area 9 of the beginning 6 of the interior space, and into the interior space 4.

  • the air duct 20 is only partially formed by the duct delimitation wall 31, namely on the one hand by the housing 3 and on the other hand by the duct delimitation wall 31.
  • the housing 3 or a housing wall also forms the connection 44.
  • the duct delimitation wall 31 forms a section of the air duct 20 opposite the connection 44.
  • the duct boundary wall 31 - and thus at least in sections also the air duct 20 - is arranged within the interior 4, as also in FIG Fig. 3 .
  • the duct delimitation wall 31 forms a continuation of the housing wall and thus delimits the interior space 4, ie the air duct 20 is arranged here at least in sections outside the interior space 20.
