  • Parcel boxes are particularly suitable as an additional acceptance device for parcels in addition to the usual mailbox in the household or commercial environment.
  • WO 2006/015307 A2 discloses a package collection device that is intended to enable barrier-free operation for disabled people.
  • the pick-up device can be actuated with little force and a maximum actuation height using a lever mechanism, springs and weights.
  • DE 10 2006 039 002 A1 discloses a collection container for collecting parcels with a deposit opening, an acceptance device and a storage space.
  • the previously known parcel acceptance devices are not optimally suited for direct loading by a parcel deliverer while at the same time being used in the open air in a weather-resistant manner.
  • EP 1 252 845 A1 discloses an acceptance device for data carriers with electronic chips.
