  • the agent preferably comprises, as preservatives, one or more from the group containing isothiazolinone, phenoxyethanol, methylisothiazolinone and benzisothiazolinone (BIT).
  • BIT benzisothiazolinone
  • the sanitary products are preferably designed as gels.
  • Such gels preferably have a different micro- or nanostructure than conventional sanitary products, which, particularly in the case of toilet stones, not only leads to a special optical appearance due to the transparency of the gel, but also enables a uniform release of additives such as dyes and, in particular, fragrance compositions.
  • a further aspect of the invention relates to the production of the system according to the invention, comprising the steps of (a) making the sanitary agent flowable by heating, (b) introducing the agent into the basket and (c) cooling the agent, whereby the composition hardens.
  • the chamber shell of the toilet basket is completely closed on at least one side and the composition is adhered to the completely closed side of the chamber shell.
  • Toilet baskets When using transparent toilet baskets, inadequate rinsing behavior from the inner chamber surface of the toilet basket leads to unsightly, unevenly distributed gel residues on the surface of the chamber.
  • Toilet baskets usually have a strongly curved or curved inner chamber surface (for example in spherical toilet baskets). Compared to the relatively smooth and uncurved surfaces of toilet bowls, to which sanitary products can be attached directly without toilet baskets, a more pronounced residue formation can be observed when using toilet baskets with a self-adhesive gel. An improvement in rinsing behavior is therefore necessary, especially when used with a toilet basket.
  • the chamber shell is preferably designed as a sphere, i.e. spherical, with the chamber shell consisting in one piece or in two pieces of a first hemisphere and a second hemisphere, which respectively represent a first side of the chamber shell and a second side of the chamber shell.
  • the first side can be referred to as the front, i.e. the side that is accessible or visible when in use and facing away from the toilet bowl wall, while the second side can be referred to as the back, i.e. the side that is not immediately accessible or visible in the state of use and the toilet bowl wall and what runs along it Side facing rinsing water.
  • the above division of the chamber shell into two sides can also be transferred to other chamber shell geometries, e.g. rectangular chamber shell geometries.
  • the front of the chamber shell preferably has no opening. On the one hand, this prevents a child or pet from coming into contact with an active substance present in the chamber. Furthermore, because the first side of the chamber shell has no opening, the active substance can be filled into the basket during the manufacturing process through an opening on the second side. In the case of toilet baskets with one or more openings on the first side, the active substance would not remain in the basket during filling but would run through it.
  • a toilet basket according to the described embodiment can advantageously be filled with an active substance, with the substance only solidifying after filling. It is therefore not necessary for the active substance to be preformed into the desired geometry (eg a sphere) and only then introduced into the chamber.
  • composition according to the invention E1 and a comparison composition C1 were provided. All values are given in percent by weight based on the total amount of the composition.
  • the comparison composition C1 contained glycerin, while glycerin was completely omitted in the compositions E1, E2 and E3 according to the invention.
  • the amount of glycerin was divided proportionately among the other components of the compositions (fatty alcohol ethoxylate and water), that is, instead of the 10 percent by weight of additional glycerin, on the one hand Amount of water and on the other hand the amount of fatty alcohol ethoxylate increases proportionally.
  • “Cremophor A25” is a fatty alcohol ethoxylate with C16 and C18 alkyl residues and 25 ethoxy units.
  • Empilan is a fatty alcohol ethoxylate with C9 to C12 alkyl residues and 8 ethoxy units
  • compositions C1 and E1, E2, and E3 were tested for their adhesion behavior, their ability to harden on cooling, their temperature stability and their rinsing behavior.
  • compositions that are made from the EP 1 086 199 B1 are known
  • the formation of a white crusty surface from poorly soluble residues is known to be avoided if the agent comprises glycerin.
  • Good rinsing behavior was also observed in the case of the comparison composition C1.
  • the compositions according to the invention E1, E2 and E3 surprisingly showed a similarly advantageous rinsing behavior as the composition C1.
  • this can also be achieved without the use of glycerin.
  • the inventors attribute this to the electrolyte-containing solvent (here water), and it is assumed that the ions it contains have a beneficial effect on the network formation within the gel.
  • compositions E1, E2 and E3 according to the invention it was also observed that they solidified or hardened more quickly. There is no need for additional cooling to harden the gel. The resulting reduced energy consumption causes lower costs and enables more ecological and efficient large-scale industrial production of sanitary products.
