Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a medical mammalian pump, more particularly to a motorized medical mammalian pump.
  • mammalian pumps are, in particular, breast pumps for pumping out human breast milk or drainage pumps for aspirating body fluids, such as, for example, for chest drainage or for wound drainage.
  • Medical mammals also called vacuum pumps, are known for a wide variety of applications. For example, they are used as breast pumps for pumping out human breast milk or as drainage pumps for aspirating body fluids.
  • Such mammalian pumps have as pumping unit piston pumps or diaphragm pumps.
  • the use of a pumping membrane has the advantage that the mammal pump as a whole can be made relatively small and light and portable during use.
  • a very small and still the high demands on a breast pump fulfilling motor driven pump unit is known from WO 2006/032156 Al.
  • Portable inflatable pumps usually also have an energy store for operating a motor of the pump unit. The size of the energy accumulator and the pump unit thus essentially determine the size of the pump housing.
  • WO 2017/157691 A1 discloses a medical mammalian pump with an elastic mounting of the pumping unit within a pump housing.
  • the pump unit is arranged in a closed inner housing and a battery is arranged parallel to the inner housing in an outer pump housing.
  • the pump unit is fastened by means of springs in an outer pump housing.
  • the motor-driven medical mammalian pump has a pump unit for generating a negative pressure, a pump unit carrier for inflating the pump unit and a receptacle for receiving an energy store, wherein the pump unit arranged in the pump unit carrier defines a first longitudinal axis and the receptacle defines a second longitudinal axis.
  • the pump unit carrier forms the receptacle and the second longitudinal axis extends at an angle to the first longitudinal axis.
  • the pump unit carrier forms the receptacle for the energy storage and thanks to the angular arrangement of the pump unit and energy storage virtually no voids are present and the size of the mammal pump as a whole is minimized. Since the pump unit and energy storage are held by the same pump unit carrier, the device is designed to be relatively stiff overall. This not only increases the robustness the device but this also minimizes vibration during operation of the pump unit and thus reduces the noise or -Feiter ein.
  • the pump unit carrier is formed substantially as a frame.
  • the frame can have any shape. However, it preferably has a substantially elongated rounded basic shape, in particular an elliptical or oval basic shape.

  • the frame is preferably formed in one piece. Preferably, it is made by injection molding of plastic.
  • the mammalian pump includes a first surgege housing portion and a second pump housing portion, the pumping aggregate carrier being held between the first and second pump housing portions. As a result, it is fixed in position and its rigidity is increased.
  • the pump unit carrier forms part of the pump housing. It preferably forms an externally visible connecting part between the first and the second pump housing part. This facilitates the assembly of the individual components and further storage of the pump unit carrier within the pump housing can be avoided.
  • the entire pump unit carrier is integrally formed.
  • At least two elastic bearings are provided for supporting the pump unit in the pump unit carrier.
  • the pump unit is kept defined and still suspended flexible, so that the noise is reduced and / or attenuated.

  • exactly two bearings are provided, which are arranged along the first longitudinal axis at opposite ends of the pump unit. Preferably, these two bearings are arranged offset to one another with respect to the first longitudinal axis.
  • the use of exactly two elastic bearings and / or said arrangement of the bearings minimizes the size of the mammal pump as a whole and also leads to the fact that vibrations and structure-borne noise can not or only partially spread.

  • the sound-damping element is preferably made of foam or of another suitable porous or air-permeable material.
  • the pump housing is preferably designed to leak in a known manner, so that over several locations, an exchange of air from the interior of the pump housing in the environment and vice versa can take place.
  • the silencer housing has a case with a receiving opening for receiving the pump unit and a lid closing the case, wherein the lid is formed bent.

  • the sound-damping housing is mounted by means of at least two elastic bearings in the pump unit carrier.
