Definitions

  • the invention relates to a connecting element according to the preamble of claim 1 for fastening a sink to a worktop, which worktop has a cutout for inserting the sink, which cutout has a peripheral boundary surface.
  • the invention also relates to a combination of a sink with at least one connecting element according to the invention arranged on the sink according to claim 10.
  • an approximately S-shaped clamp provided for fastening a sink has a screwing means in order to brace the clamp against a worktop from below, while the clamp engages in a concave edge of the sink.
  • the DE 20 64 248 B1 discloses a connecting element in the form of an expanding spring for releasably installing a sink in particular in a worktop, which expanding spring has a free leg with claws, which protrudes resiliently from a side wall of the sink.
  • DE102009033523A1 and EP1772566A2 disclose further connecting devices for connecting a sink to a worktop, which have spring elements of different lengths or heights.
  • the invention is based on the object of specifying a connecting element for fastening a sink to a worktop, which can be used for virtually any worktop thickness and requires less assembly work.
  • the connecting element to be created should be suitable for use with (kitchen) sinks that are made of a plastic cast material, a mineral cast material or a corresponding composite material.
  • the object of the present invention is also to specify a combination of a sink and such a connecting element.
  • a connecting element for attaching a sink to a worktop, which worktop has a cutout for inserting the sink, which cutout has a peripheral boundary surface has the following features: a base body serving as a contact part for contact with the sink; a plurality of spring parts which protrude from the base body on a first side and which are designed to bring about a spring force which acts away from the base body when a load is applied in the direction of the base body; and at least one anchoring part which protrudes from the base body on a second side of the base body opposite the first side and which is designed to engage in a slot-shaped recess on the sink; wherein a direction of engagement of the anchoring part (into said recess) extends substantially approximately anti-parallel to a direction of spring force.
  • An angle between the direction of engagement of the anchoring part and a direction of the spring force (F) is at least 135 degrees, preferably at least 150 degrees, most preferably 180 degrees.
  • the spring parts are designed as tongues that protrude from the base body in an edge area of the base body and have a first extension section adjoining the edge area and a second extension section adjoining the first extension section, with the tongues in the first extension section being approximately perpendicular to the base body and in the second extension section extend approximately parallel or at an acute angle of less than 45 degrees, preferably less than 30 degrees, to the base body.
  • the spring parts have a further, third extension section, which adjoins the second extension section and in which the spring parts are angled more strongly from the base body than in the second extension section.
  • the connecting element is characterized in that the spring parts differ with regard to the angle between the base body and the tongue in the second extension section and/or a length of the third extension section.
  • a combination according to the invention of a sink and at least one connecting element arranged on the sink is characterized in that the connecting element is designed as a connecting element according to the invention.
  • connection element which, due to a spring force imparted by the spring parts, can ensure that the sink is fastened to a worktop in a particularly non-positive manner.
  • the connection element itself is fixed to the sink by means of the anchoring part, which is designed to engage in a slot-shaped recess on the sink.
  • an engagement direction of the anchoring part into the slot-shaped recess on the sink, extends essentially approximately antiparallel to a direction of the spring force, so that when the sink is fastened to the worktop using the connecting element, the connecting element is also securely fixed to the sink.
  • the direction of engagement of the anchoring part should extend "substantially" approximately antiparallel to a direction of the spring force
  • this also includes configurations in which an angle between the direction of engagement and the direction of the spring force is at least approximately 135° and 225°, and preferably at least about 150° and 210°. It is therefore not necessary for the direction of engagement and direction of spring force to actually be oriented exactly antiparallel. This is discussed in more detail below.
  • the spring parts are designed as tongues protruding from the base body in an edge area of the base body, which have a first extension section adjoining the edge area and a second extension section adjoining the first extension section, with the tongue in the first extension section being approximately perpendicular to the Base body and in the second extension section extends approximately parallel or at an acute angle of less than 45 degrees, preferably less than 30 degrees, to the base body, it is possible to bend the tongue of the spring part back in the area of the second extension section in the direction of the base body, as a result of which the already addressed spring force (restoring force) results. Tolerances in the production of the worktop cut-out can be compensated for in particular by adjusting or changing the angle mentioned.
  • the spring parts have a further, third extension section which adjoins the second extension section and in which the spring parts are angled more strongly from the base body than in the second extension section.
  • the spring parts is widened at least in regions in the third extension section compared to the second extension section.
  • the spring parts can also have a widening at least in regions in the second extension section. In this way, in particular, the stability of the spring part itself can be increased.
  • the connecting element according to the invention has a plurality of spring parts which differ in terms of the angle between the base body and the sum in the second extension section and/or in terms of a length of the third extension section. This also allows tolerances, in particular of the worktop cut-out, to be effectively compensated for and the fastening effect to be improved.
  • this is designed as a tongue that protrudes from the base body in an edge area of the base body and has a first extension section adjoining the edge area and a second extension section adjoining the first extension section has, wherein the tongue in the first extension section extends approximately perpendicularly to the base body away from this and in the second extension section back to the base body.
  • an effective fixation of the connecting element in the slot-shaped recess of the sink can be achieved, with the fixing effect being able to be further improved in that an effective width of the anchoring part in the region of the first and second extension section is at least slightly larger than a corresponding width of the slot-shaped recess. Because the anchoring part bends back in the area of the second extension section, it is flexible in the area mentioned and can thus (elastically) deform accordingly when it is inserted into the slot-shaped recess of the sink.
  • the fixing effect can be further improved in that, in the course of another development of the connecting element according to the invention, the anchoring part tongue has an incision or a notch on its free edge at the end. In this way, tips of the anchoring part tongue are formed in the area of the said terminal free edge, which can dig into the material of the sink. It is therefore not readily possible to remove an inserted connecting element again without damaging it.
  • the connecting element has a plurality of anchoring parts, which preferably differ in terms of an angle between the first extension section and second extension section and/or in terms of a dimension of the first extension section. This improves the anchoring effect.
  • the connecting element is produced as a stamped and bent part or as a laser-cut part from a metallic material, preferably steel, most preferably high-grade steel.
  • a metallic material preferably steel, most preferably high-grade steel.
  • the connecting element has at least one tab on the base body, preferably at the end, which protrudes beyond the rest of the base body, preferably in width. This tab/s can be helpful in the manufacture of the connecting element and serve, for example, to fix the connecting element during manufacture.
  • the sink has at least one marginal anchoring and bearing structure on its mounting underside with a bearing surface that extends at an angle of about 90 degrees relative to a bearing edge of the sink, and with a slot-shaped Recess in the contact surface, which recess extends parallel to the bearing edge and is designed and provided for receiving the anchoring part.
  • the sink rests on top of the worktop when assembled. Said anchoring and contact structure is then located in the area of the cutout in the worktop, adjacent to its boundary surface.
  • the angle mentioned above is not limited to values of exactly 90°, but can deviate from this within a certain tolerance range. For example, such a deviation of about 5°, about 10° or about 15° has proven to be expedient.
  • the anchoring and bearing structure then has a truncated cone-shaped configuration in cross section, which can facilitate demolding, particularly when the sink is made of a cast material.
  • the connecting element rests with the base body on the contact surface when the anchoring part is accommodated in the recess, with the spring part protruding outwards away from the sink. Accordingly, an angle between the base body and the anchoring part should be adapted to the angle mentioned in the area of the contact surface of the anchoring and contact structure. In this way, the connecting element can be effectively supported areally on the anchoring and bearing structure and thus optimally exert its fastening effect.
  • the anchoring and bearing structure can be designed in the shape of a truncated cone in cross section.
  • an anchoring and bearing structure can be provided on both long sides and/or short sides of the sink. It has proven particularly advantageous to provide appropriate anchoring and support structures only on the two long sides of the sink. However, it is within the scope of the invention to provide a corresponding anchoring and bearing structure on at least one of the two short sides of the sink, preferably on a side of the sink facing away from a sink.
  • the sink as part of a corresponding embodiment of the combination according to the invention, preferably the sink including the anchoring and attachment structure, which can be integrally formed with the sink, made of a plastic casting material, a mineral casting material or a corresponding Composite material can be made.
  • the sinks are aesthetically pleasing and particularly durable in terms of their durability and stability.
  • this combination also includes a worktop, which worktop has a cutout for inserting the sink, which cutout has a peripheral boundary surface, with which boundary surface the connecting element with the spring part for fastening the sink works together.
  • the special design of the anchoring elements serves to securely fasten the connecting element in the slot-shaped recess on the sink. Due to the configuration described, the connecting element can easily be introduced into the said slot, for example by pushing it in from the side, but cannot be easily removed from it again. When (forcefully) removing the connecting element from the slot using a tool, the connecting element would be damaged and thus unusable.
  • figure 1 shows in perspective a possible embodiment of the connecting element according to the invention for attaching a sink to a worktop.
  • the connecting element is in figure 1 denoted overall by the reference numeral 1. It is advantageously a stamped and bent part made of a metal Material, preferably made of stainless steel.

  • at least one anchoring part 4 which protrudes from a second side of the base body 2 opposite the first side of the base body 2 and is at least designed to engage in a slot-shaped recess on the sink, which will be discussed in more detail below.
  • an anchoring part 4 can be seen to some extent. For a more detailed description see the figure 2 referred.
  • figure 2 shows a view of the mentioned second side (rear side) of the base body 2, whereby it can be seen that instead of just one anchoring part, actually six anchoring parts 4.1 - 4.6 are provided and in figure 2 are marked accordingly.
  • the connecting element according to figure 1 terminal tabs 5.1, 5.2, which protrude beyond the rest of the base body 2, especially in its width.

  • FIG. 3 is an illustration of the other side (front side) of the connecting element 1 according to figure 2 acts. Otherwise, the configuration of the connecting element corresponds 1 according to figure 3 according to the configuration of the connecting element 1 figure 1 .
  • figure 4 shows a slightly different representation of the connecting element 1 according to FIG figure 1 , to make it clear that the individual spring parts 3.1-3.8 have different extension lengths away from the base body 2. This will in figure 4 illustrated by the two dot-dash lines, each representing a kind of tangent to the spring parts 3.1 to 3.4 and 3.5 to 3.8. On the corresponding structural design of the spring parts 3.1 - 3.8 is now based on figure 1 received as an example.

  • the third extension section 3.8c follows the second extension section 3.8b; in it the spring part 3.1-3.8 is angled more strongly from the base body 2 than in the second extension section 3.8b. It is also noticeable that the spring part 3.1-3.8 is widened in some areas in the third extension section 3.8c compared to the second extension section 3.8b. According to the design in figure 1 this broadening, which is provided with the reference number 3.8d, is arranged terminally at a free end of the third extension section 3.8c.
