Definitions

  • the invention relates to a low-profile concealed cistern module, a WC arrangement and a use of the concealed cistern module for realizing the WC arrangement.
  • Generic concealed cistern modules are intended to be arranged in a space between a building wall and a pre-wall provided in front of the building wall, wherein the pre-wall, with its side facing away from the building wall, forms a boundary wall of a room, so that the concealed cistern module is concealed by the pre-wall when viewed from the room.
  • the pre-wall has several through-openings through which the concealed cistern module is accessible from the room.
  • the side of the pre-wall facing the room is usually referred to as the access side of the pre-wall, from which access to the concealed cistern module is possible through the through-openings.
  • At least one first through-opening is provided, behind which an inspection opening of the concealed cistern module is arranged, through which access to the interior of the cistern of the concealed cistern module is granted.
  • a pre-wall usually has at least one further through-opening, through which Connecting pipes enable a WC body, which is to be fastened on the access side, to be connected to a flush pipe of the cistern and to a building-side wastewater line, and can be provided with fastening means by means of which the WC body can be fastened.
  • concealed cistern modules of this type have a mounting frame to which the cistern is fixed, wherein the fastening means are designed to fasten the WC body to the mounting frame, wherein the fastening means for fastening the WC body are preferably designed in a wall-mounted installation, in which the WC body is usually spaced vertically from a floor on which the mounting frame is placed.
  • the WC body of a WC arrangement is held by means of the fastening means to the mounting frame, which in turn is placed on a floor, so that the WC body is not placed on the floor but is held relative to the floor via the mounting frame and is vertically spaced from the floor.
  • the WC body is usually designed as a wall-mounted WC body. Furthermore, in a wall-mounted installation, the waste water opening of the WC body usually runs with its opening cross-section along the vertical, so that a horizontally running connecting pipe can be connected to this waste water opening or inserted into it.
  • a connection for the flush pipe flush pipe connection
  • a connection for the waste water line drain pipe connection
  • the WC body in a normal operating condition, is connected to each of the connections via a connecting pipe, which leads from the space behind the pre-wall through the The flush connection passes through the pre-wall and is connected to the toilet body on the access side of the pre-wall.
  • the toilet body has a flush connection with a flush inlet opening and a drain connection with a waste water opening.
  • the flush connection can be connected to the flush pipe connection via a first connecting pipe, and the drain connection can be connected to the waste pipe connection via a second connecting pipe.
  • the flush inlet opening and waste water opening have a clear cross-section through which flush water can enter the toilet body (flush connection) or exit (drain connection). This clear cross-section usually runs in the vertical and transverse directions.
  • the mounting frame comprises a fastening device for fastening a tubular drain pipe connection in an installed state of the concealed cistern module, in which the mounting frame of the concealed cistern module is placed on a level floor, wherein the fastening device for fastening the drain pipe connection is designed vertically at a vertical distance of at least 140 mm, in particular at least 160 mm from the floor and/or with the vertical position of its vertical center being determined at a vertical distance of at least 200 mm from the floor.
  • a vertical center of the drain pipe connection and in particular a vertical center of the waste water opening of the toilet body is vertically distanced from the floor by at least 200 mm, in particular between 200 mm and 300 mm.
  • the water flows with an impact pressure determined by the aforementioned parameters into the upwardly open bowl of the WC body, on the top of which a WC seat is usually provided, and from there it flows through a siphon provided in the WC body to the waste water opening of the WC body.
  • the siphon is filled with sealing water to a vertical sealing water level, which is determined by the geometry of the toilet body and the siphon, and at which the sealing water surface lies.
  • the flush water flows through the toilet body, as explained, and also through the siphon, until a resting state is restored, which corresponds to the intended operating state.
  • the sealing water remaining in the siphon prevents odors from a connected wastewater pipe from passing through the open-topped bowl into a room in which the toilet body is installed.
  • the siphon is designed such that the vertical center of the clear cross-section of the drain connection of the toilet body is spaced vertically by less than 100 mm, in particular less than 70 mm, in particular less than 60 mm from the water surface of the sealing water, thereby ensuring easy flow of the flush water through the toilet body when it flushes dirt out of the toilet body, accelerated by the force of gravity emanating from the cistern.
  • generic concealed cistern modules the flush water stored in the cistern is accelerated by the gravitational force acting on the flush water when the drain valve is open.
  • generic cisterns have a wall suitable for storing a large volume of, for example, 10 l of flush water.
  • the wall of the cistern is spaced apart from the toilet body by a large distance along a vertical direction generally parallel to the gravitational force acting on the earth to ensure a large drop height for generating a high flow velocity.
  • the cistern wall has a considerable vertical extension so that the flush water can be stored in the wall at a large fill level to generate the greatest possible gravitational pressure.
  • the maximum fill level of a cistern is defined by a specified fill limit. determined.
  • the inventors have recognized that the aforementioned interplay between, on the one hand, the vertical distance from the flush pipe opening to the fill line and, on the other hand, from the flush pipe opening to the drain opening is particularly advantageous for this purpose, since the combination of these distances allows both sufficient gravitational pressure and sufficient gravitational acceleration of the flush water to be achieved, and, on the other hand, the flow of the flush water in the flush pipe bend is slowed sufficiently little.
  • the invention thus enables the realization of particularly low-profile concealed cistern modules, through which new Installation options for such concealed cistern modules can be developed. The invention achieves this through a simple and robust design of the concealed cistern module.
  • the section of the flushing pipe bend running from the end of the curved section facing the flushing pipe opening to the flushing pipe opening can be designed as an end section.
  • the curved section extends to the flushing pipe opening.
  • an edge-free clear cross-section is formed continuously on the inside of the flushing pipe bend over its extension, starting from the drain opening to the end of the curved section facing the flushing pipe opening.
  • the flushing pipe bend is designed with smooth walls on the inside, preferably along the entire extension of its curved section.

  • Undercut-free in the sense of the present invention means that a first cross section, which is arranged after a second cross section in the flow direction of the flush water, which is directed from the drain opening to the flush pipe opening, wherein each of the cross sections runs perpendicular to the flow direction and intersects the flush water guide perpendicular to the flow direction, has a cross section equal to or smaller than the second cross section, wherein in particular any cross-sectional change between the first cross section and the second cross-section is continuous along the flow direction.
  • the inventors have found that such an undercut-free flush water guide of the flush pipe bend is accompanied by a particularly small reduction in the flow velocity of the flush water due to fluid dynamic friction losses.
