Definitions

  • the invention relates to a motor vehicle lock, in particular a motor vehicle door lock, with a lever arrangement consisting of at least two levers, the two levers being mounted on a common bearing pin with the same axis as each other, and the bearing pin being anchored in a lock housing.
  • motor vehicle lock is to be interpreted broadly within the scope of the invention. This includes not only the preferred motor vehicle door locks, but also, for example, locks on motor vehicle seats, motor vehicle hatches, etc.
  • a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl is usually implemented.
  • the levers usually represent components of an operating lever chain and/or locking lever chain or both. In the case of two levers of an operating lever chain, these ensure, for example, that when they are acted upon and assuming a continuous mechanical connection, the locking mechanism can be opened, for example.
  • the actuating lever chain mentioned works with the two levers at the end via, for example, a release lever on the pawl which is in engagement with the rotary latch when the locking mechanism is closed. This causes the pawl to be lifted and the locking mechanism and thus the motor vehicle lock in question can be opened.
  • a coupling element present in the actuating lever chain can be moved into its engaged or disengaged position become.
  • the coupling element ensures a mechanically continuous actuating lever chain, so that the previously mentioned opening of the locking mechanism can be carried out via its action.
  • the coupling element is disengaged, the actuating lever chain is, for example, mechanically interrupted during an opening process, so that the opening process is empty and the locking mechanism cannot be opened. This generally corresponds to the functional position “locked”, whereas the continuous operating lever chain corresponds to the functional position “unlocked”.
  • the two levers can also represent a component of both the operating lever chain and the locking lever chain.
  • an internal locking lever and an internal actuating lever can be mounted on the same axis on the common bearing pin.
  • a coupling element may also be interposed.
  • the motor vehicle lock is designed as a motor vehicle side door lock on a rear motor vehicle side door with child safety locks.
  • the coupling element can be transferred into its engaged and disengaged position relative to the operating lever chain and therefore the internal operating lever via the internal locking lever.
  • Both actuating levers are mounted on the same axis and coplanar to one another.
  • a link lever is also mounted on the matching axis as a further component of the safety device. This has basically proven itself.
  • the two levers which are mounted on the same axis on the common bearing pin, should also be equipped with a spring or another component between them, as it were.
  • a spring may be an internal operating lever spring, i.e. one with the help of which the internal operating lever is pivoted back into its starting position, for example, after it has been acted upon.
  • the attachment of the spring between the levers mounted on the same axis as one another usually requires that the two levers have a defined distance from one another. In practice, this distance is typically achieved with an intermediate spacer and adjusted during assembly. This leads to an overall relatively complex arrangement and assembly. Not only do the two levers have to be attached to the common bearing pin, but before the second lever can be installed, the spacer must also be attached in conjunction with the spring in question. Only then can the second lever be attached to the bearing pin.
  • the invention is based on the technical problem of further developing such a motor vehicle lock and in particular a motor vehicle door lock in such a way that the number of required components is reduced and assembly is also simplified while maintaining functionality.
  • the invention proposes in a generic motor vehicle lock within the scope of the invention that the bearing pin is designed in two parts with a plug-in pin and a plug-in pin receptacle, with both bearing pin parts each being equipped with a stop for the composite definition of a spacer between the two levers.
  • a two-part bearing pin is initially used.
  • One bearing pin part is designed as a plug-in pin and the other bearing pin part is designed as a plug-in pin receptacle.
  • both bearing pin parts are now coupled to one another using a plug-in connection. Since the respective bearing pin part is equipped with a stop, when the plug-in pin and plug-in pin receptacle are combined by the stops provided on both sides, the spacer, which was previously manufactured and assembled as a separate component, is automatically implemented between the two levers. This already achieves a considerable simplification with regard to the number of components required and the necessary assembly.
  • the lock housing is designed in two parts with a housing shell and a housing cover.
  • the housing shell generally has the Plug-in pin, while the housing cover is equipped with the plug-in pin holder. This achieves a further reduction in components. Because now the two-part bearing pin is practically designed as part of the housing shell on the one hand and the housing cover on the other, which together define the already mandatory lock housing for the motor vehicle lock.
  • the procedure is usually such that the respective bearing pin part is molded onto the housing shell or the housing cover.
  • the housing shell and the housing cover are each designed as plastic injection-molded parts. This means that the production of the bearing pin can be practically integrated into the production of the housing shell or housing cover.
  • the plug-in pin on the housing shell and the plug-in pin receptacle on the housing cover are automatically realized. Of course, the reverse can also be done. In this case, the plug-in pin receptacle is provided on the housing shell, whereas the housing cover is equipped with the plug-in pin.
  • the stop on the respective bearing pin part is designed to be eccentric. Because of this eccentric design, the lever plugged onto the respective bearing pin part and associated lever can be easily attached to the bearing pin part or, on the one hand, to the plug-in pin and, on the other hand, to the plug-in pin receptacle. It is only necessary to move the respective lever slightly radially after passing the eccentric stop with a mandatory access opening for the bearing pin part in the plug-in connection. This will be explained in more detail with reference to the description of the figures.
  • the stop is usually designed as a circular arc segment. It has also proven useful if the circular arc segment is adapted to the access opening in question in the respective lever. This means that the lever can easily be plugged onto the relevant bearing pin part, whereby the lever with its access opening has to be slightly displaced radially over a certain area during the axial plug-in movement. In any case, this ensures that the lever is additionally secured on the bearing pin part. This simplifies assembly at the same time because the lever cannot accidentally fall or slide down after it has been installed on the plug-in pin or the plug-in pin receptacle.
  • both the plug-in pin and the plug-in pin receptacle are usually equipped with stepped diameters in the axial direction. These stepped diameters act together as an axial stop, so that after the plug-in pin has been inserted into the plug-in pin receptacle, the correct distance between the two associated stops from one another is provided while defining the spacer.
  • the design can be made in such a way that the plug-in pin receptacle is equipped with a side opening, so that the plug-in pin can be mounted in the plug-in pin receptacle not only in the sense of a purely axial plug-in connection, but the plug-in pin can also be done radially to a small extent can be inserted into the pin holder through the side opening.
  • a spiral spring encompassing the bearing pin is typically also mounted and implemented.
  • the spiral spring in question is formed by the two respective stops on the two bearing pin parts that define the spacer in the assembled state automatically positioned on the spacer and secured axially.
  • the two stops under the composite definition of the spacer ensure that the levers mounted on the assembled bearing pin maintain their predetermined distance.
  • the common bearing pin for both levers is designed in two parts and is advantageously defined on the one hand on the housing shell and on the other hand on the housing cover of the mandatory lock housing. The union between the housing shell and the housing cover automatically and simultaneously results in the two bearing pin parts being united with one another at the same time.
  • the figures show a motor vehicle lock, which according to the exemplary embodiment is a motor vehicle door lock.
  • This has a locking mechanism consisting of a rotary latch and a pawl, which is not shown in detail and functions in the usual way.
  • a lock housing 1, 2 is realized, which houses the entire arrangement.
  • the lock housing 1, 2 is equipped in two parts with a housing shell 1 and a housing cover 2, which are only shown in sections in the exemplary embodiment.
  • a lever arrangement 3, 4, 5 consisting of at least two levers 3, 4 is provided and implemented.
  • the two levers 3, 4 were an internal locking lever 3 on the one hand and an internal operating lever 4 on the other.
  • the two Lever 3, 4 add another third lever 5, which in the example case is a clutch lever 5.
  • the internal operating lever 4 is designed in two parts with a first internal operating lever 4a and a second internal operating lever 4b.
  • the clutch lever 5, which can be acted upon with the help of the internal locking lever 3, ensures that the Fig. 2
  • the state shown is “engaged” so that the two internal operating levers 4a, 4b in the variant according to the Fig. 2 are mechanically connected to one another, so that in this case the locking mechanism can be opened via an inner handle and the assembled inner operating lever 4a, 4b, if necessary via a release lever (not shown here).
  • the “child lock off” state corresponds to this in the example case.
  • the clutch lever 5 ensures that the two internal operating levers 4a, 4b are mechanically separated from one another in the example case, so that a mechanical connection up to the locking mechanism is interrupted and any actuation of the assembled internal operating lever 4a, 4b comes to nothing .
  • the clutch lever 5 is controlled with the help of the internal locking lever 3.
  • the version is as shown in the Fig. 2 just like the clutch lever 5 provided there is of secondary interest, so this will not be discussed in more detail below.
  • a comparative view of the Fig. 1 in conjunction with the assembly sequence according to the Fig. 3 to 5 makes it clear that the two levers 3,4 are mounted on a common bearing pin 6, 7 with the same axis as each other.
  • the bearing pin 6, 7 is anchored in the lock housing 1, 2 for this purpose.
  • the procedure is now such that the bearing pin 6, 7 is designed in two parts with a plug-in pin 6 and a plug-in pin receptacle 7.
  • the plug-in pin 6 and the plug-in pin receptacle 7 each define a bearing pin part 6, 7 and, when put together, the bearing pin 6, 7.
  • both of the aforementioned bearing bolt parts 6, 7 are each equipped with a stop 8, 9.
  • the stop 8 is found on the plug pin 6, whereas the further stop 9 is formed on the plug pin receptacle 7.
  • the design is such that the two bearing pin parts 6, 7, each with their stop 8, 9, are in the assembled state as shown in the Fig. 5 Define a total of a spacer 8, 9 between the two levers 3, 4. This means that the spacer 8, 9 is composed of the two separately designed stops 8, 9.
  • the design is such that the housing shell 1 is equipped with the plug-in pin 6. You can see that in the Fig. 3 .
  • the housing cover 2, on the other hand, is equipped with the plug-in pin receptacle 7, as shown in the illustration Fig. 4 makes clear. In principle, the reverse can also be done. In this case, the plug-in pin receptacle 7 is located on the housing shell 1, whereas the housing cover 2 is equipped with the plug-in pin 6. However, this is not shown.
  • the respective bearing pin part 6, 7 is molded onto the housing shell 1 or the housing cover 2.
  • the design is such that the housing shell 1 as well as the housing cover 2 are each designed as a plastic injection molded part. This allows the plug pin 6 to be attached the housing shell 1 is molded onto the housing shell 1 in the course of a common plastic injection molding process.
  • the plug-in pin receptacle 7 can also be molded onto the housing cover 2, which is also produced in the course of a plastic injection molding process.
  • the respective stop 8, 9 on the associated bearing pin part 3, 4 is designed eccentrically.
  • the respective stop 8, 9 is a circular arc segment.
  • the design is such that the circular arc segment in question or the associated stop 8, 9 is adapted overall to a corresponding access opening 10, 11 in the respective lever 3, 4.
  • the internal locking lever 3 is equipped with the access opening 10 for the plug pin 6, like the assembly process in the Fig. 3 shows.
  • the internal operating lever 4 has the access opening 11, with the help of which the internal operating lever 4 is plugged onto the plug-in pin receptacle 7, as in the assembly process Fig. 4 makes clear.
  • a spiral spring 12 with its coiled section 12 a is then plugged onto the plug-in pin receptacle 7.
  • the one leg 12 b of the spiral spring 12 extending from the winding section 12a then engages behind a stop 13 which is also molded onto the housing cover 2 when the spiral spring 12 is mounted on the plug-in pin receptacle 7 according to the exemplary embodiment.
  • the further second and free leg 12 c acts in the assembled state after the Fig. 5 the internal operating lever 4 and ensures, for example, that the internal operating lever 4 moves to its position Deflection, for example to open the locking mechanism, is pivoted back into its basic position.
  • the respective stop 8, 9 is designed as a circular arc segment and is also adapted to the associated access opening 10 in the internal locking lever 3 on the one hand and the access opening 11 in the internal operating lever 4 on the other hand, which otherwise largely correspond in size, the plugging process of the relevant one takes place Lever 3, 4 on the bearing pin part 6,7 in such a way that one in the Fig. 3 and 4
  • the assembly direction shown in dashed lines is not only in the axial direction, but in the area of the relevant stop 8, 9 an additional radial displacement is required. This will cause the lever in question to be 3.4 in Fig. 3 and 4 shown and, as it were, pre-assembled state is held captively on the plug-in pin 6 on the one hand and on the plug-in pin receptacle 7 on the other hand.
