Definitions

  • the invention relates to a storage device for storing rod-shaped articles of the tobacco-processing industry, in particular filter rods, aligned cross-axially and parallel, comprising a magazine section with a feed area and a removal area, with the feed area being assigned at least one feed device which is designed to supply the storage device with the rod-shaped articles Feed articles transversely.

  • Such a storage device is known, for example, from EP 1 920 668 B1, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference.

This pressure increases as more rod-shaped articles are fed into the magazine section, which can result in damage to the stored rod-shaped articles.
