Definitions

  • the invention relates to a door, in particular a roller door, with a door leaf which is movable along a movement path between an open position in which it at least partially exposes a wall opening and optionally forms a multi-layer roll above the wall opening, and a closed position in which it at least partially closes the wall opening, and which is designed at least in sections as a web-shaped curtain made of flexible material, wherein the web-shaped curtain is assigned a stabilizing device which extends transversely, in particular approximately perpendicularly, to the movement path and which, at least in the closed position, counteracts a deformation of the curtain in a load direction running perpendicular to a closing plane spanned by the movement path and the stabilizing device.
  • Roller doors of this type are used in particular to close hall entrances.
  • the locking element designed as a door leaf, can be wound up onto a winding shaft arranged above the hall entrance when moving from the closed to the open position. This ensures space-saving storage of the door leaf in the open position.
  • the door leaf can be designed in the form of a so-called slatted armor with a large number of slats that are articulated together along hinge axes running perpendicular to the direction of movement of the locking element.
  • the locking element can also consist, at least in part, of a web-shaped curtain, for example made of PVC, which can be formed from several curtain segments divided in the direction of the web and connected to one another.
  • the stabilizing element arranged at the lower edge of the closing element in the closed position be designed to be elastically deformable so that it can convert at least part of the impact energy into deformation energy.
  • at least one guide device cooperating with the guide element is arranged on at least one lateral edge of the closing element, which guide device is designed to detach from the guide element upon impact of a vehicle on the closing element in order to avoid damage to the curtain, the guide element or the guide device.
  • an inlet arrangement can be arranged at the upper edge of the guide element, with which the guide member can be automatically inserted into the guide element during a closing movement of the closing element.
  • the inlet arrangement can be according to the WO 2004/088080 A1 be combined with a pretensioning device that urges the closing element or the stabilizing element in opposite directions running transversely to the direction of movement of the closing element. This allows the lower edge of the closing element to be centered, ensuring reliable insertion of the lower edge of the closing element into the guide elements, even at high closing speeds.
  • Both the elastically deformable stabilizing elements at the lower edge of the closing element and the inlet arrangements for the guide links equipped with pre-tensioning devices do indeed reduce the consequences of damage when vehicles impact the closing elements.
  • collisions with vehicles still result in unacceptable damage to the closing elements and/or the guide elements, particularly when the closing elements are formed from a curtain made of an elastically flexible material.
  • neither the flexibility of the stabilizing element nor the detachable connection of the closing element or guide device and the guide element, as well as their reliable insertion into one another, are sufficient to rule out damage to the closing element and/or the guide elements.
  • the doors known in the prior art have not yet been able to solve the problem that in the event of damage to one-piece curtains or curtains made up of curtain segments that are permanently attached to one another, the entire curtain always has to be replaced.
  • the object of the invention is to improve a generic door, in particular to provide a door that enables high running speed and wind stability while ensuring easy repair and maintenance.
  • the door leaf in this context, it is possible for the door leaf to be guided along the movement path using a guide arrangement and/or joint arrangement coupled to the stabilizing device, as described in the WO 2018/219512 A1 is described, the content of which is incorporated herein in its entirety by reference.
  • Commercially available, preferably transparent or colored, PVC and/or polycarbonate can be used as a flexible or yielding material for producing door leaves according to the invention.
  • the door can be adapted to corresponding requirements or circumstances via the thickness of the plastic sheet.
  • the flexibility or bendability ensures a small winding radius for space-saving accommodation of the curtain in the closed position.
  • Polycarbonate in particular has proven to be a material with excellent properties for use in doors according to the invention.
  • the material has high elasticity with sufficient flexural rigidity to follow the winding contour even with large widths.
  • the material has other positive properties such as high impact resistance.
  • the web-shaped curtain has at least two successive curtain segments in the direction of the movement path, which are detachably connected to one another along at least one predetermined separation line extending in the closing plane, preferably approximately perpendicular to the movement path, in such a way that the mutually facing edges of the curtain segments remain deformable.
  • Detachable in the sense of the present invention is to be understood as meaning that the connection of the curtain segments can be released or separated, in particular manually, without causing damage to components of the door, in particular to the connected curtain segments.
  • the predetermined separation line can be an imaginary axis in the region of the fastening zone between the two curtain segments.
  • the conflict of interest underlying the present invention namely high running speed and high wind stability on the one hand, and simple repair and maintenance options on the other, can be resolved.
  • the detachable connection of the curtain segments can be designed without rigid fastening or connecting profiles.
  • a key development idea lies in the functional separation of the stabilization of the curtain, which is created by the stabilization device, and the fastening of the curtain segments to one another, which is achieved by the detachable connection. If the curtain is damaged, it is no longer necessary to replace the entire curtain. This creates the option of replacing individual curtain segments in a simple, cost-effective and easy-to-install manner by loosening the connection between the curtain segments.
  • the door comprises a connecting device that is at least partially deformable, in particular elastically deformable, for detachably connecting the mutually facing edges of the curtain segments.
  • the connecting device does not necessarily have to contribute to increasing stability, it can be designed to be elastically deformable and flexible, in contrast to the rigid stabilizing device usually made of aluminum or metal.
  • the connecting device can extend across the entire width of the curtain oriented transversely to the movement path and can fasten the curtain segments to be connected to one another across its entire width.
  • the elasticity of the connecting device has the advantage that the connecting device can return to its original shape after deformation, for example, as a result of a collision with a forklift truck, so that the curtain can continue to properly close the wall opening and can also be reliably moved along the movement path, particularly in the open position. can also be wound into a coil.
  • the connecting device consists exclusively of an elastically deformable material, in particular an elastomer material and/or plastic. Suitable materials include, for example, PVC, in particular rigid PVC, PE, EPDM, SBR, and silicone.
  • the intended separation line or the intended separation area within the meaning of this description and the claims is formed by the transitions between the connecting device and the edges of the curtain segments.
  • the connecting device is designed such that a curtain segment forming the lower edge of the curtain and another curtain segment can be or are each detachably fastened thereto. Because the connecting device is detachably connectable to both curtain segments to be connected, it is not only possible to easily replace the curtain segments in the event of damage and/or maintenance, but also to replace the connecting device itself with little assembly effort if it needs to be replaced.
  • the detachable fastening can be realized by a form-fitting connection, which is characterized in particular by ensuring easy assembly and disassembly of the curtain segments or the connecting device.
  • the connecting device has two receptacles, each assigned to one of the curtain segments to be connected, for positively receiving one of the mutually facing edges of the curtain segments.
  • the connecting device has a receptacle assigned to an upper edge of the curtain segment forming the lower edge of the curtain and a receptacle assigned to the lower edge of the curtain segment trailing in the closing direction.
  • the edges can have thickened portions, for example in the form of a bead or a piping.
  • the positive engagement between the edge and the receptacle can be realized, for example, in the manner of a piping rail.
  • the receptacles can each have a guide groove oriented in the direction of the path of movement of the door leaf. oriented longitudinal opening for sections of the curtain segments adjoining the edges or for connecting elements coupled to the curtain segments. This means that the edges are either manufactured or formed as a single piece with the respective curtain segments or are part of separate connecting elements that are, in particular, integrally coupled to the curtain segments.
  • the longitudinal openings can have a clear width in the load direction that is smaller than the maximum dimensions of the thickened portions accommodated in the receptacles in this direction.
  • the positive coordination of the guide groove and edge also provides a predefined assembly and disassembly direction, ensuring simple assembly and disassembly and preventing incorrect assembly. Furthermore, the edges are guided longitudinally into the guide grooves in the holder during insertion. Thanks to the positive interlocking, the connecting device can be easily pulled or slid onto the curtain segments without jamming or jamming.
  • the connecting device is designed such that, when a load acting on the curtain exceeds a predetermined load limit in the load direction, at least one of the curtain segments, in particular both, is released by utilizing the deformability of the connecting device, for example by widening the longitudinal opening.
  • This design of the door leaf is based on the knowledge that impact damage or collisions with, for example, forklifts often result in damage to the curtain in the area of the fastening interface between the curtain segment and the connecting device. This design of the door leaf is particularly noticeable when high loads are applied, for example at high speeds of the object causing the collision, such as the forklift.
  • the edges of the curtain segments can be shaped to match the dimensions of the longitudinal openings of the receptacles of the connecting devices in such a way that, when the predetermined load limit is exceeded, the edges are pushed through the longitudinal openings, at least in sections, by utilising the elastic flexibility of the connecting device and/or the edges themselves and can escape from the guide grooves.
  • the load limit is approximately 20 kg/m.
  • the detachable connection between the curtain segments, in particular the connecting device is preferably designed in such a way that, in the event of a load, damage to the curtain segment trailing in the closing direction is avoided. This can, under certain circumstances, be achieved at the expense of damage to the curtain segment leading in the closing direction, in particular forming the lower edge of the curtain.
  • the connecting device is arranged at a distance of 250 mm to 1,250 mm from the floor in the closed position. Since the curtain is usually damaged at a lower edge in the closed position, it is advantageous to arrange the connecting device at a vertical height such that most of such collision damage can be repaired by simply replacing the lower curtain segment, possibly including the connecting device.
  • the connecting device is located at a distance of 350 mm to 1,000 mm or up to 500 mm from the floor.
  • a securing device such as an end or securing cap, can be arranged at at least one lateral end of the connecting device, in particular at both lateral ends of the connecting device, which is detachably connected to the connecting device and/or one of the curtain segments, in particular screwed, latched, or clamped.
  • the safety device can, for example, be shaped and/or dimensioned in such a way that it overlaps the safety device in the direction of the movement path to at least one side and can, if necessary, be placed on a lateral edge of the curtain.
  • the connecting device is provided with at least one, in particular with at least two, three or four, fastening holes for receiving fastening means, such as screws, clips or the like, for fastening the securing device and the connecting device together.
  • fastening means such as screws, clips or the like
  • the restoring force counteracting a deformation of the connecting device in the load direction is smaller than the restoring force counteracting a deformation of the stabilizing device in a direction perpendicular to the load direction.
  • the load direction in the from the space to be closed by the door leaf or in the opposite direction. This can further reduce the consequences of damage resulting from a collision, for example, with a forklift truck, as the curtain is able to convert a larger proportion of the kinetic energy into deformation energy without causing damage such as cracks, particularly at the connection points between the curtain and the connecting device.
  • the door according to the invention has at least one guide device arranged on a lateral edge of the door leaf, by means of which the door leaf is guided during a movement in the closing plane.
  • the door can have an inlet arrangement arranged on the upper edge of the guide device, with which the lateral edge of the door leaf can be automatically inserted into the guide device during a closing movement.
  • inlet arrangement reference is made to the WO 2004/088080 A1 , the content of which is incorporated herein by reference.
  • At least one connecting device can be provided with a securing device designed to absorb axial forces acting parallel to the edges of the curtain segments extending perpendicular to the path of movement. With such a securing device, it can be prevented that the parallel The edges of the door leaf extending to the path of movement are displaced in a direction perpendicular to the path of movement because the corresponding axial forces are absorbed by the safety device.
  • the connecting device 7 has a constant cross-section along its entire longitudinal extent in the longitudinal direction or width direction B. Furthermore, the exemplary embodiment of the connecting device 7 according to the Figures 1 to 3 in cross-section is double-axis symmetrical. As in Figure 2 As can be seen, the connecting device 7 is designed to be axially symmetrical with respect to a vertical central axis M V oriented in the direction of the web direction R. In addition, the connecting device 7 is designed to be axially symmetrical with respect to a horizontal central axis M H running through a connecting web 25 connecting the two C-shaped receptacles 13, 15 to one another and oriented parallel to the desired separation line.
