  • Horizontal tilting slit 105 allows midsole top portion 106 to be tilted about a horizontal tilting axis which extends in the longitudinal direction LO.
  • Midsole 10 further comprises, respectively defines, sideward slits 1 1 2, 1 1 3, 1 14 and 1 1 5. These slits are connected to horizontal tilting slit 105. However, in contrast to horizontal tilting slit 10, which may in general preferably extend essentially in parallel to midsole top layer 101 and/or to midsole base layer 102, sideward slits 1 1 2, 1 1 3, 1 14 and 1 1 5 each extend from horizontal tilting slit 105 to top layer 101 . Thus, each sideward slit has also a vertical component, i.e. it extends also in vertical direction V.
