Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hand-held circular saw with a saw blade holder, which is prepared for fastening a saw blade and which can be rotated about a drive axis by means of a drive assembly, a protective cover being provided which surrounds a chip guide space, within which a saw blade receiving area is formed, which is arranged and designed in order to accommodate the saw blade in a working position, the protective cover having an outer side wall which delimits the chip guiding space on the side facing away from the drive assembly, a lighting arrangement with at least one lighting element being provided in order to illuminate a cutting area of the hand-held circular saw at least in some areas, and wherein the lighting element is arranged behind the saw blade receiving area and/or the cutting area in the feed direction of the hand-held circular saw.
  • JP2022-46093 discloses a hand-held circular saw with a protective cover surrounding a chip guide space.
  • a saw blade is accommodated in the chip guide space.
  • a lighting arrangement is arranged in the chip removal space behind the saw blade in the feed direction. The lighting arrangement emits its light transversely to the axis of rotation of the saw blade on both sides of the saw blade. This means that the saw blade, which is in the light path of the lighting arrangement, casts a shadow onto a workpiece to be machined.
  • This object is achieved in that the lighting arrangement is arranged and aligned in such a way that the light emitted by the lighting element is emitted predominantly in the feed direction of the hand-held circular saw, and in that the light emitted by the lighting element runs at least in some areas, preferably completely, in a light guide area is separated from the dust-carrying area of the chip guide space.
  • the lighting element is arranged in the feed direction behind the saw blade receiving area and/or the cutting area and therefore behind the saw blade, the entire working area of the saw blade can be illuminated as desired by the user.
  • the illumination is further improved in that the light emitted by the lighting element is emitted predominantly in the feed direction of the hand-held circular saw. This increases operating comfort even in confusing working positions.
  • the light emitted by the lighting element runs at least in some areas, preferably completely, in a light guide area that is separate from the dust-carrying area, the light path is not influenced by the chips separated from the workpiece during the machining operation. This means that operationally reliable, particularly glare-free, illumination of the work area, in particular the cutting area, is possible for a user of the hand-held circular saw even during machining.
  • the lighting element is arranged separately from the dust-carrying area of the chip guide space so that it does not become dirty.
  • the lighting element on the outside of the side outer wall illuminates the cutting area of the hand-held circular saw.
  • the cutting area is to be understood as the area into which the saw blade cuts a surface of the workpiece to be processed when the hand-held circular saw is placed on the workpiece to be processed. It is preferably provided that the cutting area on the outside of the side outer wall is illuminated there where the saw blade cuts into the workpiece.
  • an adjusting device can be provided that makes it possible to focus the lighting element on this area.
  • the protective cover has, on its outside facing away from the chip guide space, a rear area marking for identifying the rear end of the cutting area in the feed direction and a front area marking for identifying the front end of the cutting area in the feed direction, and that the light emitted by the lighting element illuminates at least a partial area, preferably at least the entire area, between the two area markings.
  • a hand-held circular saw according to the invention can be designed in such a way that a lamp holder is provided which holds the lighting element in the area of the outside facing away from the chip guide space.
  • the lighting element is located here and is easily accessible to the user.
  • it can effectively illuminate the working area of the hand-held circular saw.
  • the lamp holder has a fixing arrangement to which the lighting arrangement is coupled in an exchangeable manner, then a user can make the lighting arrangement suitably accessible if necessary. When it is no longer needed, he can dismantle it and put it aside.
  • the lighting element is held in the area of the side outer wall of the protective cover, particularly preferably attached to the side outer wall. It is preferred that the lighting element is then removably connected to the protective cover. In particular, it then does not affect sawing close to the wall in the area of the outside of the protective cover.
  • the lighting element is pivotally connected to the hand-held circular saw directly or indirectly via an interface.
  • the light beam of the lighting element can thus be suitably adjusted.
  • the lamp holder has a bearing element, which is coupled by means of a fastening piece to a support piece of the hand-held circular saw, in particular to the protective cover, that a counter-bearing element is movably connected to the bearing element, that the lighting arrangement is coupled, preferably releasably, to the counter-bearing element, and that the bearing and the counter-bearing element are an adjusting bearing to adjust the position of the lighting arrangement.
  • the lighting arrangement is adjustable, in particular pivotable, relative to the support piece of the hand-held circular saw, in particular relative to the protective cover, by at least one rotational degree of freedom.
  • an adjusting arrangement to be provided, by means of which the lighting arrangement can be adjusted translationally, in particular to achieve a suitable assignment to the protective cover.

  • the miter bearing has a fixed and a movable bearing piece, the fixed bearing piece being coupled to the guide plate and the movable bearing piece being coupled to the drive assembly, and that the lighting element is attached to either the fixed or the movable bearing piece.
  • the lighting element is suitably positioned to emit the light essentially or completely in the feed direction.
  • the lighting element is housed here in a space-saving manner and it does not affect the movement space of the hand-held circular saw or only insignificantly.
  • Some hand-held circular saws are designed in such a way that their protective cover has a limiting element on its underside facing the workpiece, which is angled towards the cutting area.
  • An embodiment variant of the invention makes use of a protective cover designed in this way, with the lighting element being arranged in such a way that it emits its light in the feed direction along the limiting element. This allows the light to be brought very close to the actual position of the saw blade, thereby improving work accuracy.
  • the lighting arrangement has a lamp housing which accommodates the lighting element, that the lamp housing has or carries a fastening section by means of which it is replaceably fastened to a lamp holder, it preferably being provided that the lamp holder is on the outside of the lamp holder facing away from the chip guide space Protective cover, preferably on the outside of the side outer wall facing away from the chip guide space, then it can easily be attached to or removed from the hand-held circular saw by the user. In addition, he can use the lighting arrangement in the form of a flashlight separately.
  • the assembly of such a lighting arrangement is particularly easy if it is provided that the lamp housing is interchangeably connected to the lamp holder by means of a magnetic connection. If it is also provided that the lamp housing has a positive locking element to form a transverse Magnetic force acting positive connection between the lamp housing and the lamp holder, then the positioning of the lamp housing can be reliably maintained via the positive connection, even in the event of external mechanical stress, for example vibrations.

  • the magnetic part (or the iron part) can be kept hidden from view on the inside of the protective cover facing the chip guide channel (or integrated into the protective cover itself). This means that the magnetic part (or the iron part) does not have a visually disturbing effect.
  • the lamp housing carries an electrical switch in its area facing away from the guide plate of the hand-held circular saw.
  • the lamp housing holds the lighting element in its end region facing the guide plate in the area of the free end of the side outer wall and laterally next to the side outer wall.

  • the lighting element is integrated behind the protective cover to save space, but is nevertheless separated from the chip guide channel in order to avoid contamination of the lighting element and/or influencing the light path.
  • the protective cover in particular the side wall, has a light passage through which the light of the lighting element is passed and out
  • Chip guide space is led out.
  • the light passage is at least partially on one
  • Limiting element is provided, which is formed at the lower free end of the side wall in the form of an inward bend directed towards the chip guide space in order to be able to illuminate close to the cutting area of the saw blade.
  • a conceivable alternative to the invention is designed in such a way that the protective cover, in particular the side outer wall, has at least one fastening receptacle to which the lighting arrangement is fastened, the fastening receptacle being introduced as an opening in the protective cover or as a recess in the protective cover. This means that the lighting arrangement can be installed to save space.
