L'invention concerne un appareil de traitement et de filtration d'eau (10) comportant un corps creux (11), pourvu d'une entrée (12) et d'une sortie (13) respectivement pour l'entrée et la sortie de l'eau, qui s'étend le long d'un axe longitudinal (L) et à l'intérieur duquel sont agencés de manière amovible un dispositif de filtration mécanique (19) pour éliminer les particules solides présentes dans l'eau traversant l'appareil (10), un dispositif de traitement de détartrage (20) et un dispositif de capture magnétique (21) pour capturer les particules ferreuses contenues dans l'eau traversant l'appareil (10) ; le dispositif de filtration mécanique (19), le dispositif de traitement de détartrage (20) et le dispositif de capture magnétique (21) sont agencés de manière coaxiale le long de l'axe longitudinal (L) susmentionné. Cet appareil (10) n'a pas besoin d'être alimenté en énergie et ne nécessite aucun ajout de substance chimique ou d'additif provenant de l'extérieur. L'appareil (10) est en outre compact et facile à nettoyer et à entretenir.
