Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de fonctionnement d'une usine métallurgique de pyrolyse de charbon de bois intégrée combinée, comprenant un réacteur de pyrolyse et une usine métallurgique, comprenant : - l'alimentation du réacteur de pyrolyse avec une charge d'alimentation brute sèche riche en carbone ; - la pyrolyse de ladite charge d'alimentation brute sèche riche en carbone pour produire du charbon de bois et du gaz de pyrolyse ; - le fonctionnement de l'usine métallurgique, le charbon de bois étant introduit en tant que combustible et/ou agent réducteur et/ou agent de carburation et/ou agent moussant de scories dans l'usine métallurgique ; et - le traitement d'au moins une partie du gaz de pyrolyse en tant que premier flux dans un reformeur en présence de composants porteurs d'oxygène, de préférence de l'air, O2, CO2 et/ou H2O, pour former un gaz de pyrolyse amélioré riche en H2 et CO ; et le gaz de pyrolyse amélioré étant transporté à travers l'usine métallurgique de pyrolyse de charbon de bois intégrée combinée à valoriser, en particulier pour être en outre utilisé en tant que gaz combustible, en tant que gaz réducteur et/ou en tant que gaz de carburation.
