Abstract

L'invention concerne une technique basée sur une détection de compression qui peut être utilisée pour réduire un nombre de canaux nécessaires pour collecter des signaux analogiques provenant d'une sonde PAUT à éléments multiples, telle qu'avec une approche d'acquisition d'imagerie par ondes planes (PWI) dans laquelle de multiples éléments sont excités simultanément pour une transmission. Une telle approche permet de simplifier considérablement l'architecture matérielle d'une instrumentation, telle que la réduction de la complexité du câblage de l'ensemble sonde ou des interconnexions associées. Une partie ou une totalité d'une extrémité avant analogique (AFE) peut être incorporée dans la sonde elle-même. L'utilisation des présents enseignements peut comprendre la reconstruction de signaux reçus correspondant aux éléments individuels de la sonde, avec aussi peu qu'un seul canal analogique utilisé pour la réception. A titre d'exemple, aussi peu qu'un seul générateur d'impulsions peut être utilisé en transmission et aussi peu qu'un seul convertisseur analogique-numérique (CAN) peut être utilisé en réception.
