Abstract

Une composition thermoplastique selon la présente invention comprend : d'environ 60 % en poids à environ 99,5 % en poids d'au moins un polymère thermoplastique comprenant du polycarbonate (PC), un copolymère de polycarbonate-siloxane, un polyester (PE), un polyétherimide (PEI), une polyphénylsulfone (PPSU), une polyéthersulfone (PES), une polysulfone (PSU), un polyarylate (PAR), des copolymères de ceux-ci, ou des combinaisons de ceux-ci ; et d'environ 0,5 % en poids à environ 5 % en poids d'un additif de structuration directe au laser (LDS) comprenant de l'oxyde d'indium-étain bleu (BITO). La composition thermoplastique a une transmittance visible d'au moins 50 % et un trouble inférieur ou égal à 30 % tel que testé conformément à la norme ASTM D1003-00 à une épaisseur de 1 millimètre. La valeur de pourcentage en poids combinée de tous les composants ne dépasse pas 100 % en poids, et toutes les valeurs de pourcentage en poids sont basées sur le poids total de la composition.
