Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'enregistrement d'une référence (51) dans un dispositif portable (10) intégrant un capteur biométrique (14) dans lequel une première phase comprend l'étape suivante exécutée pour une pluralité de transactions avec un ou plusieurs terminaux (20) : - au cours de chaque transaction courante de ladite pluralité de transactions, capturer des données biométriques candidates (60) à partir d'un identifiant de sujet d'un utilisateur (50), attribuer un indicateur (58) aux données biométriques candidates (60), ledit indicateur permettant de déterminer si l'utilisateur a été authentifié avec succès au cours de ladite transaction courante et stocker les données biométriques candidates et ledit indicateur attribué dans le dispositif portable ; et le procédé comprend une seconde phase dans laquelle, lors de la détection d'un événement, le dispositif portable identifie une liste de données biométriques candidates dont l'indicateur attribué reflète une authentification réussie de l'utilisateur, et construit la référence à l'aide uniquement de ladite liste.
