Abstract

High-safety traffic light with a single focal point, characterised in that a single light source reflects or transmits the three colours of conventional traffic lights, this light source also reflecting or transmitting a wide variety of geometrical figures forming signals. This traffic light has two light sources (9), so that, if one is defective, the other comes into operation because the mirror (8) reflects and transmits the light simultaneously, the light sources being 90 DEG out of phase, with the result that, if one of them is functioning, the light passes through the mirror and is reflected in the colour filter, whilst, when the other is functioning, the light is likewise reflected in the colour filter and also in the mirror. A complete assembly is provided for each colour or geometrical configuration, such an assembly comprising the following components: light transmission fibres (5) reflecting in the dark screen (4), a colour filter (6), a small box (7) with an inner mirror (8), light sources (9), a transformer (10), an incompatibility device (11) and a connection box (12).
