Abstract

The device for cleaning rear-view mirrors and the like is characterised in that it has telescopic wipers (1, 2) intended to adapt themselves to mirrors having an irregular shape. Said wipers are actuated by means of an electric motor (11) which, through pulleys and belts (14), produces the friction motion of the wiper on the mirror. Said electric motor is connected to a timer (13) for imparting a sweeping motion from left to right and from right to left. A switch is provided close to the driver so that the driver can cut off the power from the battery. There is also incorporated in this system an other switch to activate the water pump (16). Through a hose (17) and outlets provided in the casing of the mirror, the pump projects a water jet onto the mirror.
