Abstract

A plurality of enamel reliefs having an angular configuration are incorporated in the sole. Such transversally arranged orifices form two groups, one group on each side of a symmetry axis of the iron, providing that said reliefs are equidistant with the particularity that at each angle corresponds a steam outlet orifice, said steam outlet orifices forming a pair of lines at the vicinity and in parallel to the edges of the triangular periphery of the sole. Between every two consecutive reliefs of enamel and from the angular area where the proper orifice is made, two rectangular and oblique zones are provided for the distribution of steam inwards and outwards of the sole.
