Abstract

The security tyre comprises at least one tranverse fringe embedded at the periphery of its mass having a colour contrasting with a colour of the tread when the tread band reaches a predetermined wear limit the contrast colour fringe embedded in the mass of the tyre will be visible thereby indicating that the tyre needs to be replaced.
