Cajón aislante para persianas enrollables, constituido a partir de cuatro placas (1-4) laminares que conforman un prisma rectangular con una abertura (7) en uno de los lados (4) por donde discurre tanto la persiana como la correa utilizada para enrollarla y desenrollarla, mediante poleas, alrededor del eje de un tambor (6) sujeto en ambos testeros (9) que cierran el cajón por sus laterales, cuyas placas (1-4) laminares son perfectamente ensamblables entre sí por sus bordes longitudinales, preferentemente mediante machihembrado (5), que se caracteriza porque dichas placas (1-4) laminares están constituidas por dos láminas de un material aislante, ligero y resistente a las inclemencias meteorológicas, entre las que se ha dispuesto un relleno (8) de poliuretano expandido o similar, destinado a incrementar las características aislantes térmicas y acústicas.
