Abstract

NUEVO ACOPLADOR PROGRESIVO Y LIMITADOR DE PAR CENTRÍFUGO, caracterizado por que está constituido esencialmente por un mangón (motor) sobre el que va una cámara anular elástica rellena de lastre, la cual puede tener en su periferia unas zapatas recambiables, y de otro mangón o polea tambor (conducido); de tal manera que el motor arranca en vacío, pues las zapatas, apenas rozan con el tambor, hasta que este ha adquirido cierta velocidad, que al ir en aumento va incrementando la fuerza centrífuga y en consecuencia la presión que las zapatas ejercen sobre el tambor que es arrastrado hasta llegar a la sincronización total del motor y la máquina; dependiendo del grado de rellenamiento y del peso específico del material de relleno, el tiempo total de arranque y el par máximo que puede transmitir, sobrepasando el cual las zapatas patinan funcionando entonces el mecanismo acoplado como limitador de par.
