1. Barrera de carretera, de las constituidas por una pluralidad de postes espaciados relacionados entre sí directa o indirectamente por, al menos, un perfil que constituye la barandilla; caracterizada porque: a) cada perfil/barandilla (1) es macizo, monopieza, con sección de espesor variable que presenta frontis (10) de doble onda y cara posterior (11) lisa, hecho en material no metálico de baja densidad que tiene efecto amortiguador en caso de golpe y que por dicha cara posterior lisa (11), se fija a b) uno o varios alargados soportes intermedios (2) metálicos, con una superficie lisa (21) adosada a la citada cara posterior (11) del perfil/barandilla (1), y cuyos medios de unión (6) quedan ocultos a la vista desde la carretera; donde cada soporte intermedio (2) va solidario a un poste (3) bien directamente, o bien indirectamente con interposición de un separador (4); c) cada poste (3) dispone un alma metálica interna (31) y una protección perimetral a externa (32) hecha en material no metálico de baja densidad que tiene efecto amortiguador en caso de golpe.
