Portaequipajes plegable para automóviles caracterizado por presentar cuatro piezas cantoneras que tienen respectivamente dos alojamientos superiores formando ángulo recto y otro inferior exactamente debajo del orientado en la dirección de los laterales 95 del vehículo correspondiente de los cuales el que se encuentra solo comporta con su oponente los laterales posterior y anterior del portaequipajes mientras que de los otros los superiores reciben sendos perfiles tubulares solidarizados mediante ejes que permiten su giro hacia el interior en el momento del plegado del portaequipajes para lo cual presentan sus caras interiores parcialmente abiertas llevando los inferiores estas mismas caras completamente abiertas constituyendo un cajeado a cuyo fondo llegan los perfiles que constituyen los transversales del portaequipajes luego de deslizarse a lo largo de los perfiles en U que forman los laterales inferiores y cuyas alas se encuentran solidarizadas mediante un eje que permite su giro a sendos rebajes del alojamiento inferior descrito que presentan su cara interna debidamente curvada para no impedir el giro de dichas alas.
