Abstract

Una lámpara de alcohol para techo, caracterizada por el hecho de presentar el depósito de alcohol en su parte superior unida y articulada directamente a la anilla de suspensión de la lámpara. Del fondo de este depósito arranca el tubo de conducción del combustible hasta el mechero, el cual tubo sirve además de tirante de suspensión para este último, la pantalla y los órganos de gasificación y regulación. El descenso del alcohol se regula por una macha o un filtro colocado dentro del tubo y por la válvula inferior de paso. Alrededor de esta válvula se sitúa una envolvente de protección calorífica que al efecto sirve de chimenea para aprovechar la corriente de aire calienta que se produce al encender el mechero inferior. Dentro de esta envolvente, alrededor del tubo de conexión con el mechero y por debajo de la válvula de paso, se sitúa una cazoleta en la que al poner en servicio la lámpara se quema una dosis de alcohol para iniciar la gasificación.
