Un chigre eléctrico con elevador de ancla, consistente en un bastidor o bancada de hierro fundido o de acero laminado, sobre la cual se montan los órganos de fuerza y elevación siguientes: un motor eléctrico de c. c., de 220 voltios y 20 C. V. a 650 r. p. m. en carga y 800 r. p. m. en vacío; este motor acciona por medio de un mecanismo de husillo sin fin y trenes de engranajes a un eje perpendicular al suyo, donde van situados dos borbotes y dos mecanismos de freno a husillo accionado por manivela, tal como se presenta en el adjunto plano.
