The present invention relates to a bag for packaging and transporting food in a clean and hygienic manner.

The object of the invention is to provide a device that is structurally simple, light, economical, easily adaptable to foods of different shapes and sizes through a completely intuitive process, which makes it suitable for use by both children and the elderly, all with a reusable character and therefore with a lower environmental impact.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The current lifestyle often forces people to have to eat or have lunch away from home, being usual to take different foods to work, school or place that is deemed convenient, such as sandwiches, sandwiches, fruits, etc., to eat in that place.

The usual thing is to wrap these foods in aluminum or plastic foil that is removed once the food is consumed.

This is an obvious environmental problem, so the use of reusable packaging is desirable.

The problem with reusable containers is that they have an invariable volume, so that sometimes their volume is much greater than what is needed, with the consequent inconvenience that this entails when transporting said container, or, on the contrary, that punctually and depending on the food chosen, may be too small.

To this problem we must add the volumetric occupation that these containers present in an inoperative situation, clearly undesirable, and the difficulty in some cases of cleaning them once used.

EXPLANATION OF THE INVENTION

The recommended food packaging bag fully and satisfactorily resolves the aforementioned problems in each and every one of the aforementioned aspects, based on a simple but effective solution.

For this, and more specifically, the device of the invention is constituted from a flexible laminar body with a multilayer character, in which a layer is defined that determines the internal face of the container, the one intended to come into contact with the food, waterproof in nature, and a second layer, which determines the outer face of the container, whose nature is not limiting, as it does not come into contact with food, and may be obtained in textile material, plastic, etc.

The laminar body has an elongated rectangular configuration, in which one of its ends has rounded corners, while the opposite end ends in an isosceles trapezoidal sector.

The device is complemented by four Velcro®-type adhesive strips, complementary two by two, arranged two of them in correspondence with the inner face of the container, on the central edge of the smaller base of the isosceles trapezoidal sector and on the middle zone of one of the larger lateral edges, while the other two adhesive strips are arranged on the outer face, in correspondence with the middle area of the smaller lateral edge with rounded corners and the middle area of the other larger lateral edge.

These adhesive strips will have an elongated configuration, arranged perpendicularly on the previously described edges of the device.

This allows that when the container is folded, the larger and smaller lateral edges can be adjusted along said adhesive strips in different positions, thus offering a great volumetric regulation for the container, so that the food is perfectly adjusted both lengthwise and widthwise.

From this structure, the following advantages are derived:

• A bag is obtained that is extraordinarily simple and, therefore, it is very cheap to manufacture and sell.

• The arrangement of the velcro ensures that the food to be protected is perfectly adjusted and fastened both lengthwise and widthwise.

• The handling is also very simple, so it can be used by both adults and children.

• The bag has a negligible weight, which facilitates its use.

• The wide surface of the bag allows it to be personalized with drawings, graphics or even advertising elements.

• Once empty, the bag can be folded and closed on itself, making it easy to store and reuse.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

In view of the figures outlined, it can be seen how the bag of the invention is constituted from a flexible laminar body in which two superimposed layers and joined together participate, an internal layer (1) intended to come into contact with the food, and an outer layer (2) that determines the outer face of the container, which can be decorated according to different design lines, include advertising that allows its free distribution, etc.

As has been said previously, the adhesive strips will have an elongated configuration and an arrangement perpendicular to the edge on which they are arranged, which allows a large margin of regulation in the folding of the container.

In this sense, and as shown in figures 3 to 6, once the food has been placed on the inside of the container, the larger sides of the container will be folded, stabilizing them by means of Velcro-type adhesive strips (4A and 4B), to then fold the end with rounded edges as shown in figure 5, and finally, fix the end in an isosceles trapezoidal configuration (6) on the latter (see figure 6), leaving the assembly perfectly stabilized by linking Velcro-type adhesive strips (3A and 3B), offering a wide range of adaptability to different volumes by virtue of the repeatedly mentioned perpendicular distribution of the adhesive strips on the edges where they are integrated.

The device thus described is easy to clean or wash once its content has been consumed, and can be folded to take on a minimum volumetric occupation in an inoperative situation.
