Abstract

Tensor o freno del hilo, aplicable a las máquinas de género de punto y otras máquinas de la industria textil, que consiste en una pequeña armazón que se fija convenientemente a la máquina y lleva dos ojetes para la entrada y salida del hilo y entre ambos ojetes una pieza giratoria con un canal o conducto central para el pase del hilo, de manera que variando a voluntad la posición de giro de esta pieza central, se obliga al hilo a efectuar cambios de dirección entre los ojetes y la pieza central, cuya intensidad puede variarse a voluntad, regulando así la tensión o acción de freno que se produce sobre el hilo.
