Un toldo-tienda para automóviles, caracterizado por el hecho de comprender una armazón extensible, desmontable en piezas, provista de elementos para su fijación en el techo del automóvil, de un toldo propiamente dicho acoplable a dicha armazón, y a la misma retenible a cierta distancia del techo del automóvil, conformado de modo que con le armazón contraída resulta parcialmente recogido y tan solo cubre el vehículo y con la armazón extendida resulta desplegado y cubre además más allá del vehículo formando una marquesina; y de un faldón complementario que puede ser unido a lo largo del perímetro del toldo ya bien para encerrar el automóvil ya bien para constituir una tienda de campaña, según esté recogida o desplegada la armazón.
