Abstract

Una junta para la obturación de un soporte realizado entre una parte fija y otra rotativa que limitan una hendidura, caracterizada porque, mediante la configuración correspondiente de al menos una de estas partes, la hendidura se ensancha en una zona para formar una cámara centrífuga, que presenta en general forma de engrosamiento hueco de sección transversal preferentemente circular, discurriendo la hendidura que une dicha cámara con el ambiente exterior al menos aproximadamente en sentido radial, mientras que la hendidura dirigida hacia el soporte propiamente dicho, preferentemente un rodamiento, discurre al menos aproximadamente en sentido axial en su extremo correspondiente a la cámara centrífuga.
